A gift prepared for my retired husband It was my first solo trip after marriage, and I went with a feeling of being exiled, so I was a bit worried at first. But the neat-freak husband was satisfied with the clean interior and quiet environment. After 2-3 days, I adapted somehow, and the talk of him coming up in the middle disappeared, and it seems like I spent time well. ㅎㅎㅎ Still, for the last two days, I took the KTX and did a restaurant tour at places that were hard to go to alone before, and also visited Mureung Valley. I wanted to go to Nongol-damgil and explore here and there, but because of the hot weather, we decided to come back when it cools down and look around slowly. See you then~~^^

I came back from a month-long stay with my child during the hot summer. I'm still in awe. 1. Beautiful inside and out. The biggest reasons I chose this house were the ocean views from both sides and the mini-camping zone. It was a tremendous joy to be able to gaze at the blue sky and clear sea from inside every morning. I've always loved watching the sky and sunsets, so I enjoyed them to my heart's content. The interior was also very clean and uncluttered, with a beautiful design. Occasionally, I'd order delivery and eat at the mini-camping zone, and the atmosphere made the food even more delicious. I've often used Airbnb, both domestically and internationally, and I've experienced the discrepancy between the listing photos and the actual property. But this house is exactly as pictured. The view is even more impressive in person. 2. Great location. The popular Eodal Intersection is within walking distance, and Eodal Beach is within walking distance. I've walked Nongoldam-gil Road several times, as well as Balhan Intersection and Mukho Station. I have a child. I traveled around Gangwon-do mainly by car, but Samcheok is also close by. It's also close to the highway, so it was very convenient to go to places like Sokcho, Goseong, and Yangyang. It took less than two hours to get anywhere. I loved it. 3. Quiet & Hot Spots The area where I stayed had a few small apartments and a quiet commercial district. However, if you venture a little further, you'll find everything from tourist attractions to restaurants and cafes. There's no shortage of food on delivery apps. Coupang Rocket Delivery is also available. It was nice to be able to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time while still enjoying the conveniences of the world. While it can get a bit crowded during the holidays and vacation season, it's a breeze compared to the city. I also loved the lack of parking stress. 4. Stunning Walking/Running Course The surrounding scenery was breathtaking, making it perfect for a walk or a run. I went down to Eodal Intersection and ran along the coast. For my sunrise run, I left about 40 minutes before sunrise. There's also a convenience store along the coast. There's an unmanned cafe near Eodal Intersection, perfect for a refreshing coffee after a run. You can also get some serious uphill training on the way home. If you're feeling bored, you can dress casually and go for a walk along Nongoldamgil in the afternoon, check out Eodal Intersection, and even go see the ocean. (+) I was really worried about the sixth floor without an elevator in the middle of summer, but honestly, I never once thought, "Wow, this is hard!" We went out every day, and my child and I went up and down without a second thought. Since the ceilings aren't as high as in modern apartments, I figured there wouldn't be many stairs. And compared to what I expected, the number of bugs was practically nonexistent. It's inevitable that there will be more bugs in a neighborhood with beautiful scenery, greenery, and the ocean, so I was prepared for a few, but I didn't see a single one. I sent the owner a few private messages asking him questions, and he responded quickly, which was great. With my child, we couldn't visit many good restaurants, but here are a few: - Jangteo Grilled Fish: Great value for money - Windy Hill Donghae Tapas: The view is amazing, but the food isn't that great. - Diver Grill: I'd go to another place with the same price. - Doya House: A cozy cafe. - Damda: I've been there twice. It's a really delicious set meal (15 minutes by car). - Hanseom: A famous restaurant that only serves seafood from the East Sea. It's pricey, but delicious. Reservations are recommended. - Kongki: I recommend making reservations on their Instagram or when they open. Everything is delicious. - Caramel Station: The atmosphere was very hip and nice. - Roundabout: The most popular dish was really bad. Here are a few places I went a little outside of town: - Dreambitmaru Library: It's recently built, so it's very clean and great for kids. - Gangneung Twins Zoo: It's in Gangneung, but not too far away. They offer feeding experiences, so it's a great place to go with kids. - Samcheok Garam Cinema: Tickets are affordable. - Gamchu Beach, Hanseom Beach: Parking is relatively difficult, but it's relatively quiet and has a great atmosphere. - Seoho Bookstore: This was the best independent bookstore. The coffee is also delicious. - Prop Shops: Nearby prop shops are all within walking distance, and I've visited most of them. Mukoya Gift Shop (Nongoldamgil), Badabaran (in the market), Gorae (near Balhan Intersection), Myohan (near Balhan Intersection), and the ones in the New World Shopping Mall are all worth a visit. - If I'm a little ambitious, I can also visit Mindungsan, Shinsendae, and Hambaeksan, all within two hours. I highly recommend them. It was a great fortune and blessing to be able to stay in such a wonderful accommodation for a month. I'd love to come back again, even in winter, when the weather is right.

It was such a wonderful week🥹🩵 I first decided to go to Mukho and while browsing blogs, I stumbled upon "Hello, Mukho." I loved it so much I decided to stay for a week! I didn't have high expectations because photos often don't match reality, but wow...it was even more beautiful and charming in person than in the photos, so I thought I made a great choice🙌🏻 Here are a few things I enjoyed about my week-long stay! - Location Mukho itself isn't a place that requires much travel, but the location of the accommodation was so great that I had no trouble walking to nearby places like Eodal Beach, Nongoldamgil, and Mukho Lighthouse! I drove, but if you drive like me, you'll find it even more convenient because you can get to everything in the area within 10 minutes. (You could get to Donghae City, Mangsang Beach, Chotdaebawi Rock, and the caves all within a 20-minute drive!) - Inside the accommodation First of all, it's absolutely beautiful, and the ocean views from the front and back verandas are so relaxing! 🥹 And the warmth of the owners was evident in every aspect of the place. So, I was able to stay comfortably, as if it were my own home, and it was a great way to heal my mind and body from the stresses of city life. 😌 Moreover, the place was clean and all the amenities were immaculate, so it seemed like everyone who stayed there had a kind heart. That made the accommodation even more heartwarming! I had such a wonderful week here, and I'll never forget it! The calm and tranquil atmosphere made it a lifelong trip, and I've vowed to return every year.☺️ I was so fortunate to have spent such a wonderful week here, and if I ever return to Mukho, I'll definitely be back!💖

It's a great place that's bigger and cleaner than the picture. I think it has to be on the 6th floor because the view is so good. You can lie down and play with the bedroom beam projector. I was surprised to see that there's also a turntable. There are a few basic LPs, but if there's something you want to listen to, it would be great if you brought it with you. Of course, there are also separate speakers. There are TVs in the living room and the bedroom, so you can roll around and play anywhere. The owner's welcome food was also very thoughtful and I felt good from the first day. The accommodation guide that you organized in detail? Thanks to that, there was no difficulty. In addition, you wrote a list of good restaurants, so I took all the places I wanted to go. If I may share another experience, I recommend going to Daege Burger. The Pencil Museum is also worth going to. There are so many places to go in Mukho. The Mukho sea that can be seen from the front and back verandas! You can walk to Eodal Port and Mukho Port. The owner's meticulous consideration can be felt everywhere in the house. Perfect for those looking for a quiet place to rest. Have a nice stay! I want to come again!

I thought the host had a keen eye. They chose the best apartment and lake to capture the scenery and charm of Mukho Beach. Every morning, the first thing I did was look out the window at the beach and take pictures. It was a small apartment, only 50m2 (15 pyeong), but the white interior made it feel clean and spacious. I loved how the interior made it feel like a vacation destination, not an everyday apartment. The effort of carrying my rather heavy luggage up the 6th floor for a 10-day stay was instantly forgotten. ^~^ As I drove away, a lingering feeling of regret lingered in my heart, and I thought I should come back. I highly recommend this place to experience the charm of the East Sea and Mukho.

You can see the sunrise over the East Sea from the back veranda (wine bar) and watch the sunset over the mountain behind in the evening from the front veranda (camping zone) 4. Special features: Excellent Wi-Fi performance, large refrigerator, large induction, good washing machine, excellent interior and space utilization, very convenient apartment waste separation, nearby beach and many other things to see, a paradise for walkers and runners 5. Convenience store 3 minutes away, traditional market and beach 20 minutes walk. In addition, there are two hotel-level saunas, Donghae Boyang Hot Springs in the upper neighborhood and Geumgangsan Health Land in the lower neighborhood, 7 minutes by car to the south and north respectively (both 10,000 won) 6. On the day I go home, I look at the calendar and pack my bags thinking, ‘When can I come here again?’

The first day, as soon as I entered the accommodation, it was just as beautiful and nice as the photos. There were plenty of places to walk and eat nearby, so I had a worry-free week. I had a great time going up and down the accommodation, exploring tourist spots. The only downside was that it was on the 6th floor without an elevator, so my wife always had to rest on the 5th floor before going home. Haha. It was a place that was emotional in itself. It was the perfect place for our plan to rest quietly. It was a 6th floor apartment without an elevator, but the view was the best because it was located high. The interior was full of sincerity, there was a turntable where you could listen to LPs, and the welcome drink and snacks were great. This time, we only stayed for a week, but next time, I want to stay a little longer. I'll rest well and go~
