Two-story detached house with ocean view

This was the best house where I could truly rest and heal during my two-week stay in Jeju. It's a place that perfectly fits the description of 'a space for rest that needs no explanation.' There was nothing lacking, and it was far better than I expected. Most importantly, the host's kindness and thoughtful consideration were truly impressive. Thanks to the sandwiches the host personally prepared on the first and last days, the beginning and end of my trip felt warmer. Throughout my stay, the host was always bright and kind, making me feel as comfortable as if I were visiting a close friend's home. The house has completely separate spaces on the first and second floors, ensuring good privacy, and from the second floor, you can see a picturesque ocean view. In particular, the view of Biyang Island directly in front was truly one of Jeju's most unforgettable views. During my stay, the accommodation was so wonderful that I didn't even want to go out. I took walks around the area every morning, and the scenery blending with the sea was so beautiful that I could start each day in a good mood. The location is also excellent. With Hyeopjae Beach and Geumneung Beach nearby, I could enjoy swimming in the sea almost every day, and most of the major tourist attractions on the west side of Jeju were within about 30 minutes, making travel convenient. Convenience facilities like Hanaro Mart, Suhyup, and Daiso are only 5-6 minutes away by car, so there was no inconvenience during my stay. And above all, this is the best accommodation in a place with so many great restaurants and hidden cafes that stimulate emotions throughout the area. If you want to rest quietly in Jeju while enjoying beautiful ocean views and warm hospitality, I confidently recommend this house. If I visit Jeju again, this will be the first place that comes to mind. I sincerely thank the host for gifting me such a grateful two weeks.

버킷리스트였던 첫 ‘제주 일주일 살기’를 통해 만난 이 집은 제게 정말 선물 같은 곳이었습니다. ​3박 4일간 해안도로 라이딩을 하느라 낮에는 집을 비웠지만, 고단한 하루 끝에 숙소로 돌아와 누리는 휴식이 참 특별했습니다. 특히 2층 창가에서 비양도를 바라보며 가만히 ‘멍때리던’ 순간은 최고의 힐링이었습니다. ​1·2층 독채 전체를 쓸 수 있어 편안하게 지냈고, 직접 거주하시려고 공들여 꾸미신 정갈한 고가구 덕분에 집 안 전체에 따뜻한 온기가 감돌았습니다. 동네가 한적해 매일 밤 깊이 잠들었고, 입실·퇴실 날 아침 챙겨주신 정성스러운 샌드위치도 감동이었습니다. ​원래 여행 나오면 요리를 전혀 안 하는 편인데, 근처 하나로마트도 가깝고 집이 워낙 편안해서 직접 장을 봐와 간단히 해 먹기도 했습니다. 집 조건과 풍광에 비해 가격도 저렴한 편이었고요. ​이곳이 전해준 기분 좋은 에너지 덕분에 제주 살이에 자신감이 생겨 다음에는 꼭 2주 살기에 도전해 보고 싶어졌습니다. 제 이야기를 들은 지인도 내년에 여기서 한 달 살기를 해보고 싶다 하더군요. ​고단했던 일상에서 벗어나 온전한 쉬어감을 전해준 참 선물 같았던 공간입니다. 가족들과 평온하게 제주의 삶을 느껴보고 싶은 분들께 진심으로 추천합니다. ​P.S. 추천은 드리지만, 다음번에 제 예약 자리 없어질까 봐 사실 나만 알고 싶은 집입니다. 🤫

아이들과 같이 가는 거라서 정말 몇날 몇일 숙소 정하는데 공을 들였어요. 여행 계획이 좋아도 머무르는 곳이 불편하면 제대로 쉬지 못하는데 '놀담'은 정말 우리 가족의 여행을 더욱 완벽하게 만들어 주었어요. 먼저 저는 마당에서 도마뱀, 개구리 등을 잡았다는 후기와 비양도와 어우러진 그림같은 석양에 반해서 예약했습니다. 넓은 창으로 들어오는 비양도는 기대했던 것 이상으로 따뜻하고 감성적이었어요. 그래서 가족들이 근처 한림수협이나 하나로마트서 장을 보거나 포장해서 일부러 집에서 편하게 저녁을 먹고 싶어 해서 덕분에 외식비를 줄일 수 있었구요. 후기처럼 마당에서 야생(?)도마뱀도 만날 수 있어서 아들이 엄청 좋아했어요. 또 마당이 있어서 수영복을 햇볕에 말릴 수 있어서 좋았고 햇볕에 바싹 마른 빨래를 보면 주부 마음이 얼마나 좋던지요~^^ 2층 독채로 공간도 분리되 충분히 넓었고 식기류,수건,휴지, 어메니티등 모든 게 부족함이 없었습니다. 호스트분이 조식으로 주신 정성가득한 샌드위치는 정말 맛있었구요. 한여름이라 에어컨을 장시간 켜두었는데도 호스트분이 전기세 걱정보다 아이들이 덥지 않아야 한다며 배려해주시니 너무 감사했습니다. 다음 제주여행에도 이 집이 떠오를 것 같아요. 다른 분들에게도 자신있게 추천합니다.

We spent a wonderful month in Jeju with our 7-month-old baby at Noldam! Since our baby couldn't walk yet, we thought any accommodation would be fine and chose a non-baby-specific pension based on our convenience. We had to pack all baby supplies, but the owner kindly prepared a mat and baby chair in advance. Thanks to their thoughtful care in ensuring we had no inconveniences, we were able to stay very comfortably! (Barbecue and jacuzzi are available, but we didn't use them because we were lazy haha) Also, Noldam is perfectly located for exploring the western side of Jeju, with Hyeopjae, Hallim, Gumneung, and Aewol all nearby! Large Daiso and Hanaromart are also close by car, so we visited frequently haha Delivery service works well and even Coupang is available, so there was really nothing inconvenient~~~ Last but not least, the view of Biyang Island from the 2nd floor was absolutely amazing..!! The sandwich provided at checkout was delicious too. Thank you so much for seeing us off at the end.⭐️

I'm leaving with many wonderful memories thanks to the host's kind consideration. I'm healing with the quiet surroundings and open views. After retiring, I came on a long trip with great determination, and I've been enjoying it more than expected. I also brought my parents and had a comfortable stay, making my memories of Jeju feel fresh and new. Thank you so much!^~^

The house was filled with antique furniture, giving it an elegant and beautifully designed interior. It's a two-story property with each floor equipped with beds, tables, chairs, kitchens, bathrooms, refrigerators, microwaves, large TVs, vanities, and other lovely furnishings, so there was no inconvenience during our 7-night, 8-day stay. I appreciated how the interior decorations reflected the owner's meticulous taste and thoughtfulness. The open views from the second floor and the sight of Hyeopjae Beach and Biyang Island were truly artistic. My husband read there every morning, I hear. The stairs were manageable for elementary school kids (grades 1-2), but it might be challenging for younger children. There were no houses directly in front or behind, and one side was a wooded slope, so there was no noise concern and the kids played well. The owner's surprise service was touching. However, being a standalone house in a quiet and dark area, I felt a bit inconvenienced given our nature as evening arrivals. Although the laundry room is right next to the entrance, it's outside, so I felt uncomfortable running it at night and ended up doing laundry in the morning. Since the antique furniture is vulnerable to humidity in midsummer, there was a slight musty smell. If the owner could thoroughly clean the lower kitchen cabinets, it would be helpful for the next guests. I felt this place would be perfect for two families, large families, or long-term travelers.

First of all, the host contacted us regularly and gave us detailed instructions on check-in and check-out, so even though we had a remote check-in, we had a great time without getting lost. ♡ The breakfast sandwiches upon check-in and check-out were delicious, reminding me of my mom. They also put a lot of emphasis on cleanliness, as there was no dust anywhere. The beds were hotel-style bedding with high mattresses, so we slept soundly. However, because there was a lot of grass, bugs and insects occasionally came into the house. Our kids moved rooms because of the bugs. ㅜ This was a place we would have loved to stay longer if we were bringing our parents or just a group of adults. The duplex also has a bathroom and kitchen, making it a great place for two families. Because it's close to Hyeopjae and Geumneung beaches, we often went swimming and enjoyed the sunbathing. It's also close to Hanaro Mart, so we mostly cooked home-cooked dinners without any inconvenience. The facilities were well-equipped, allowing us to fully enjoy our stay. ♡ If I ever travel to the west side of Jeju, I'd love to come back. I'm also grateful to the friendly host. ♡

Friendly owner + house with ocean and mountain views Without a doubt, it's the best🤭 The fact that the owner personally built the house makes it even more impressive and endearing 😊😊😊 The view from the second-floor veranda was especially beautiful, so I think I spent the most time there reading a book 🥰🥰 The proximity to the beach made it perfect for snorkeling. And even if there were any issues along the way, they were quickly resolved, so we had a completely hassle-free stay! We all promised to stay here the next time we visit Jeju Island.
