Jochon Waheul Stay with Treehouse - Anchae (Three Rooms)

The location is absolutely perfect!! Since it's centrally located, you can reach the northwest and northeast, and even the lower west, where Pororo Theme Park is located, is about 50 minutes away!! Being able to get there from Jeju in less than an hour is a huge plus!! I previously booked the wrong accommodation on the east side, so most of the places I wanted to visit with my baby were over an hour away, so I couldn't go. We rented a car and got to the accommodation in about 20 minutes. It was great for visiting tourist attractions and restaurants, and it was so convenient to be able to enter my destination into the navigation system and go in any direction without having to worry about getting lost. I brought my electric car, and the Waheulli office was right outside the front door, so it was super convenient to charge it. There's a convenience store just a 5-minute walk away, so I went to buy snacks and ice cream. Hanaro Mart is just a 5-minute drive away, and it even has a Daiso in the same store. I was so happy. Haha. The host was friendly, and when I asked about a fire pit, they readily lent me one. There's a dog behind the accommodation, and it's docile and doesn't bark, so it played well with my 5-year-old. I think the dog's leash would be even longer if it played better. I wanted to buy some treats for the dog when I went out to play. I spoke to the owner and gave him a snack. There was a swing, so my 5-year-old played on it every day. The yard was spacious, so we played with bubbles, and since it was in the yard, we felt safe. At night, we made a fire and had a barbecue in the field. During the day, we went up to the treehouse, but it didn't seem to be in use. It felt like visiting my grandmother's house, and we had such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The bathroom door was made entirely of paper, so it was a bit lacking in soundproofing. Unless you're a family of two, that probably wouldn't matter, but since we were, it was a bit concerning. I thought maybe adding some windproof sponge would help reduce the smell and noise. Haha. When we came in at night, there was almost no lighting, so it was a little dark. I think a small spotlight on the front door would add a nice touch and add a touch of ambiance. It's a renovated old house, so it's not as convenient as an apartment, but it was a comfortable place to stay. For me, it was the best place to stay. I was even sad to leave.

I thought I had imagined the accommodation and the neighborhood well when I made the online reservation, but it was just my imagination. From the moment I got off the taxi in front of the Waheulli office, I was dizzy with the endless fluttering cherry blossom petals, and every moment I opened the front door and looked around the house, I kept exclaiming, “Wow~~”. The sense of remodeling that preserved the rafters, pillars, and basalt structure of Jeju traditional houses was also extraordinary. There was a high-performance heating system (we didn’t use the air conditioner, but the living room and each room had an air conditioner), a comfortable bed, and the kitchen, bathroom, and living room were equipped with all the facilities that even people accustomed to apartment living could easily use. A tree house and swing were installed in the front yard, adding to the fun, and there was even barbecue equipment and a table. In the back yard, camellia trees were in full bloom, so I think I’ll remember opening the curtains every morning and seeing the flowers blooming through the latticework and the flowers drooping their heads. Waheulbonhyangdang (Professor Yoo Hong-jun said that Waheulbonhyangdang is one of the cores of Jeju's central mountainous region's humanities) was within walking distance of the accommodation, and it was also fun to follow the footsteps of Jeju's history, such as a wide pond. Above all, the pine tree that greeted us from the entrance intersection was an unforgettable companion on this trip. It was a pity that we left the accommodation without seeing the buckwheat flower fields that would be in full bloom around June. We stayed at this accommodation without a car, and there was no difficulty in getting around. Since the buses were connected closely, if you just planned the bus schedule well, you could reach most places in the province in 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. And thanks to that, we were able to see various places in Waheul-ri up close. Thank you for letting us stay in a nice place. Since we stayed in the main building this time, should we reserve the outer building next time?

The room was very Jeju-like, with a local feel and a quiet village feel, which was great. The host even thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning before we arrived, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. About 10-15 minutes away was Donhaesang BBQ, a delicious restaurant. We stopped by a red bean shaved ice place on the way back, and we had some delicious red bean shaved ice. The location was great for visiting beaches like Gimnyeong, Hamdeok, and Sehwa. Nearby, Jeolmul Natural Recreation Forest, Bijarim Secret Forest, and Dongmun Market were all easily accessible by car. Hamdeok Beach was about 8,200 won away by taxi, so we had our after-party there. Hamdeok had everything we wanted, from barbecue restaurants and bars to raw fish restaurants. There was plenty to see and do. My child loved the wooden swings. They said they could fill the portable swimming pool if needed, but we spent a lot of time outside, so we didn't use the pool. We had so much fun using the barbecue facilities, splashing ourselves with water from the tap, swinging on the swings, and playing in the water with the hose. The washing machine made doing laundry a breeze, and the refrigerator was a nice size and cool. The nearby Jeju-style tangerine orchard and playground in front of the small cultural center were nice, and parking inside the senior center was convenient. Since it's a remodeled old house, the soundproofing isn't great when using the bathroom, so I always had music playing on the Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen~^^;; Only one of the two bathroom stalls had a shower, so I had to be careful about timing and ordering when showering. I received many compliments on finding the best accommodation for the price during peak season. Thanks to you, I had a wonderful week and am leaving. Thank you.

We chose this treehouse for a month-long stay in Jeju with our 7-year-old and 10-month-old brothers. 🌳🌳🌳 A cozy, quiet neighborhood in a charming country house. We loved the pond, pavilion, and grassy playground. We even got to see horses while walking. 🐴🐴💛The refreshing scent of a tangerine farm—a Jeju thing you can only experience 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽🍊 We were happy to be able to walk to a convenience store and take a bus to a yoga studio in Daeheul. Hamdeok Beach was about a 15-minute taxi ride away. The airport was about 40 minutes away, and there were plenty of kid-friendly cafes nearby, making every day a joy. The kids were a little scared of bugs because it was a country house, but the owner took care of it right away, so we had a comfortable stay. We had a great time. 8 people had a meaningful visit to Jeju Island for a family trip and had a great time^^ On the first day, there was a misunderstanding with the owner during the coordination process due to a mistake, but he was so warm and considerate and understanding so we had a happy time on our 70th birthday trip^^ The kids also had a very fun and happy time. The neighborhood was so pretty and quiet that it was great for resting and healing^^

It was the first accommodation during my one-month stay in Jeju. Our family of 5, including the kids, stayed comfortably as if it were our own home. The cute backyard was also pretty. We only asked about the barbecue, but they prepared the grill and torch in advance, which made it a happy time. We went to play in the water, but they told us to use the shower room in another accommodation first.... Who said Jeju Island was difficult because of the high prices? Our family was able to start a happy memory here while enjoying the best cost-effectiveness and convenience of a one-month stay. Thank you again!!!!

My child loved the wooden swing in the front yard so much that he rode it every day. We also had a barbecue party in the evening, so we could enjoy the black pork even more. The owner was also very kind, and when the weather suddenly got cold, he immediately changed the blanket to a thick one, so I felt like I was able to spend my time warmly without any discomfort. It's a quiet rural village, so the neighbors are kind and it's quiet, so I was able to heal to my heart's content. 😊

When the flight was canceled due to heavy snow, the owner told me to stay longer if I needed to, so I was able to stay for two more days. Of course, I paid the extra fee, but he gave me two days' worth of accommodation as a deposit. The owner is not very talkative, but he took care of it right away when I contacted him if I needed anything. The location of the accommodation is good. As the description says, there is a convenience store nearby and a mart nearby, so it is easy to go out and buy things when I need them. There are many restaurants nearby (Buckwheat Flower Jeju and Double U Lounge are delicious) and there is a playground in the nearby playground, so my 2-year-old nephew went out to play every morning. The recycling center is also close. You can pay for food waste with a transportation card. Both Cashbee and T-money are accepted. The owner's house and the main house are in the same space as the outer house, but there are not many opportunities to meet the owners, and when we were there, there was no one in the outer house, so we used it almost like a separate house. There is a Waheul office in front of the house, so parking is convenient, and there is an electric car charging station, so we didn't have to worry about charging our electric cars. The bus stop is also close, so it was useful when driving was difficult due to heavy snow. Although there are villagers living around the accommodation, it was quiet, so I was able to enjoy the atmosphere of Jeju's countryside. The accommodation itself is a renovated hanok, so it has the atmosphere of a grandmother's house in the countryside. You can feel the traces of time here and there in the accommodation. It was good that the utility bills were included, and thanks to that, I stayed warm without worrying about the boiler. You can stay without additional cost within the standard number of people, so my family came to visit and stayed for a few days. However, there were only two rooms, so about four people slept on beds, and the rest of the family had to sleep in a slightly warehouse-like area connected to the living room, laying out blankets. Overall, it was good, but the bedding was a bit disappointing. Since it was for 6 people, I thought there would be bedding for 6 people, but there was only enough for 4 people based on the bed. I had to pay for the bedding for the additional bedding I needed. They deducted the cost of the bedding my nephew used, but I had to pay 20,000 won for one set of bedding used by another family. The bedding was well-washed, but it was a bit old, so there was a lot of lint, and the bed mattress connecting band came off, so the mattress cover often came off when moved. The accommodation was dry, so I bought two humidifiers and used them, and left them for other people to use. I didn't like plastic waste, so I didn't buy bottled water and used a Brita water purifier. I think you can just buy a new water purifier filter and use it. There is no extra toilet paper and towels, so you should bring enough.
