Secret villa G in Tongyeong New Town, 1st row of the sea

The location was perfect for a walk or a workout, with the coastal path right in front. I woke up to a view of the ocean from my bed, and I was able to comfortably watch the New Year's sunrise without having to go outside. The area was conveniently located with restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. There was also a Hanaro Mart about a 10-minute walk away, making grocery shopping a breeze. The accommodation was clean, and the host responded promptly to any questions I had, making for a comfortable stay. I only had a week this time, so I didn't have much time, but if I had the chance, I'd love to try a month-long stay.

The surrounding area has great food options and walking trails, making my stay very comfortable and convenient. I would like to visit Tongyeong again and stay here👍👍

I enjoyed the ocean to my heart's content and had a good rest.

My family likes to travel, so we travel often even if we have free time.. but Gyeongsang-do is the only place I don't have any connections to, so it's not easy to come. It's also a bit far.. I'll make up my mind to come once.. and I've been to Live Anywhere dozens of times!!! First of all, Gyeongsang-do.. and it would be nice to have an ocean.. where would be good. Namhae? Busan? Then I thought of Tongyeong, where I've been before. I didn't have a bad memory back then, and I wanted to see more. And right away.. I found this place that I've become connected to!! The moment I saw it, I felt it! Oh my! This is the place I've been looking for! A warm blend of emotion and romance~~ I contacted the host right away, and he responded right away, so I made a reservation the next morning while depositing the money. He was even happier when I told him that I was planning a trip with my elementary school son. So, I made a reservation a month in advance and was excitedly waiting for the trip~~ ---------- I contacted the host a few days before the trip, shared the travel itinerary (8 nights and 9 days), and received tips, and gradually prepared! On the day of the trip, I left Seoul at 8 AM and arrived in Tongyeong at 12:30 PM, so I was planning to leave my carrier and luggage in the terminal coin locker, move, and finish the first day of the trip and check in to the accommodation. But the host, who is so kind, said that I could hurry up the cleaning a little and told me to put my luggage in the accommodation and start the trip ㅠ Isn't that so considerate.. What the.. zing~~~ The check-in time is 4 PM, but I checked in early, 3 hours early. And if I were to go on the <Geoje Dome + Jungle Gym> itinerary right away, the host said that he could pick me up right away and drive me from the accommodation to Geoje Dome. Huh! Huh!! Should I go?? Should I go from there?? I thought!! Oh lol Monday is Geoje Dome's day off lol The host and I both laughed in the chat window. But I was so grateful for that feeling!! Even now ^^ When I arrived at the accommodation and put my luggage away, I was surprised again.. Even the host's handwritten postcard blessing my trip to Tongyeong!! Oh my god!! From the start of the trip, I was so full that I almost skipped lunch because I was so touched by this triple combo. The accommodation I arrived at was really big and the sea right in front of it was so blue and sparkling that it dazzled my eyes!! I now know why it's so big~~~ The weather was so nice during my trip except for two days, so I filled my eyes with this sea ^^ It really felt good just looking at the sea.. Hohoho. The accommodation is exactly like the pictures the host posted!! The bed is fluffy and clean, and the electric blanket is warm. The wooden furniture and kitchen are also so warm and cozy! The dining table was also spacious enough for my son and I to use^^ The props and appliances were all so pretty and cute ㅎㅎ The host really has great taste. There was no draft at all, and the blinds blocked the morning sun, so it wasn't too dark or too dazzling, but just right. The bathroom was clean and mold-free. The cabinets and bathroom door were indigo? Anyway, it was a dark navy color, so it was so stylish and pretty that I was going to ask the host about it. ㅋ I'm going to use it as a reference for my bathroom interior later ㅋㅋ During my stay, the host sent me a list of restaurants and good restaurants nearby, so I didn't have to search for them all, and during my stay, there was the first full moon of the lunar year, so there was a local event called Daljiptaeugi. The host, who has great taste, shared the schedule so I didn't miss it and watched it in person at the ocean in front of the accommodation! It felt like they were having a huge campfire in the middle of the ocean. Thanks to the host, I didn't miss this event^^ I went on an 8-night trip to explore Tongyeong, toured the islands, and toured all the memorial halls and streets, but I barely made it back to my accommodation in the evening, washed up, and slept. But I think I was able to fully recharge and get through the intense schedule the next day because the bed was so comfortable^^ I really hate to even imagine having an uncomfortable bed at a travel destination>.< I'm writing this in the car on my way back to Seoul. When my son left the accommodation, he was so sad... "Mom, do you like Tongyeong that much? Do you want to live here?" He asked me this, haha "Oh. Mom, you really like Tongyeong. If I get the chance, I definitely want to live there." I think the reason I'm able to return home with such happy and good memories is because Tongyeong is a beautiful and nice place, but I think the bigger reason is because I met a good person. The host sincerely hoped that I would have a fun and wonderful trip in Tongyeong. That sincerity was fully conveyed, making the trip even warmer and happier~~ Thank you so much for renting out the host's villa-like place for 8 nights and 9 days!! Now, I too ㅎㅎ can go back to Seoul and brag that I made an acquaintance in Tongyeong??? *^^* Looking forward to meeting the emotional host of this Tongyeong again...... Stay healthy! It was so great. With the ocean right in front of me, I could wake up every day feeling happy and overwhelmed. The house was so pretty and cozy, and even the cutlery, plates, spoons, and tongs had a modern feel. It was wonderful to eat while enjoying the view. Most amenities are within a 5-minute drive or 10-minute walk, so you can get most things you need. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby! It's also great to walk along the coast in the morning and evening. There are also a ton of runners! The host was so kind and responsive, and she even sent me links to festivals in Tongyeong. Living here for a month was incredibly fulfilling and incredibly satisfying. It was a great way to organize my thoughts. The only downside was that it was a bit scary and intimidating for a woman to enter and exit the building alone. And the hallway noise was louder than I expected. It's quiet in the evenings, so it's fine, but being alone during the day can be a bit scary for a timid person like me. Other than that, the interior was really cute and the view was fantastic! I'd love to go again if I get the chance. Thank you, host! I had a great time!

Tired of the same old days, I went as far as I could. I came to Tongyeong. When I first checked into my accommodation, I felt so welcomed by a handwritten note with my name on it. Even though it was late, I was so grateful for the attention to detail. I had originally planned to stay for a week, but after staying there, I almost didn't want to leave. The accommodation was so nice... I was left with many regrets when I left. Thank you for providing such a great accommodation and for your thoughtful consideration. I promise to come back at least once every year. Thank you.

The host responded quickly and kindly, and it was nice that there was a mart, library, coastal road, and restaurants near the accommodation. Above all, it was nice that there was a lot of sunlight and I could see the ocean to my heart's content. One thing that was disappointing was that when I took a shower, the water didn't come out with a consistent strength, but instead came out weakly and then strongly. 🥲 But the other advantages were great, so I felt regretful as I checked out.. Even as I'm writing this review, it's a place I want to go to again. 🥰
