My two elementary-aged sons and I stayed for 10 nights and 11 days. I read a lot of reviews before going, but it was definitely a small hotel. It was nice that the room wasn't too cold, even without the heater, but the kids were hot and slept with the windows open. We mostly ate at the restaurant, and only had rice and simple side dishes for breakfast, or ramen a few times. We found a Hanaro Mart five minutes from the accommodation, so we went there almost every day to buy water and groceries. The bathroom was spacious, so we didn't feel uncomfortable, and they provided plenty of toiletries, so we didn't need anything. During our stay, we did our laundry in the washing machine and dried our clothes. There were two drying racks, so we left one on the veranda to dry. The most useful thing, of course, was the so-called "DolDol" tape cleaner. That one thing significantly improved our quality of life at the accommodation. We arrived on the first evening of our trip, went to bed, and when we left the hotel's front door the next morning, the color of the ocean was beyond words. The water was so clear and clean that I wanted to sit in the open-air cafe and just stare at the ocean. I looked at the ocean every morning, and it was so beautiful every day. I deliberately avoided renting a car because I wanted to take a taxi or bus, but the bus schedule was so far apart that I ended up using a taxi to travel around the area. The second week was cold and windy, making it difficult to leave the accommodation, so I held out and checked out a day early. It was such a precious time that I regretted not having enjoyed it more and regretted not having enjoyed it more. As other reviews have said, the host's thoughtful consideration was evident in this accommodation. Thank you.

I came out clean. The washing machine is great for washing clothes, and the water is warm. The price is reasonable, so I'll be stopping by again.

I came here with no expectations, but it felt like I'd struck it rich. I deducted one star because it didn't have an ocean view and the kitchen was a bit cramped, but I was completely satisfied not only with the value for money, but also with the location and amenities. They provided everything I needed, and the ocean was right in front, and the color of the water was so beautiful I could spend all day gazing at it. It was even better that there were all the amenities nearby, like a supermarket, restaurants, and cafes. I'd love to come back. I had a wonderful time. Thank you.

The location is perfect. The beach is just across the street. My two and three children had a comfortable stay. The rooms had all the essentials and were clean and well-maintained. There are plenty of restaurants nearby that cater to the kids' tastes. We ordered takeout and sat by the beach in front of the house, enjoying the breeze. The library and supermarket are also within a five-minute walk... We're making lots of great memories with the kids.

This was my first trip to Jeju Island with my wife since our 40th wedding anniversary and honeymoon. It was a long 7-night, 8-day trip, but Hamdeok Beach, where the hotel is located, had all the attractions and things to see, and the hotel itself was clean, so we had no problems. This was my second time staying here, following last year. I knew most of the basics from last year, so it was convenient. More than anything, I was grateful and thankful that the host helped me check in early (we checked in at 7 a.m.).

I love Jeju Island and visit it two or three times a year. This trip, I was traveling with my 7-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old in third grade, so my biggest concern was accommodations. So I carefully read reviews. I chose Hamdeok because it had a beachfront location and good amenities, but the accommodation I liked was already booked. I made a sudden reservation three weeks before my trip, and this place happened to be empty. Since household items and room conditions can become worn after multiple people use them, I mainly looked at reviews from 2015, but since there was only one, I was hesitant to book. However, I saw many reviews praising the host's kindness, and checking in at 4 p.m. and asking about luggage storage beforehand was a good idea, so I made the reservation. The day before check-in, they sent me a text message with the accommodation password and detailed instructions. Thanks to the host's consideration, I was able to leave my luggage about an hour before check-in. Since I was traveling alone with two children, I didn't have time to cook meals or make simple ramen. However, as other reviews have mentioned, the kitchenware, washing machine, and refrigerator were provided. It was well-equipped with a microwave, electric kettle, and other amenities. I only stocked it with drinks and yogurt, which was fine, but the refrigerator is small for cooking, so it's good to be flexible, like going grocery shopping on hot days or leaving it on the veranda on cold days. However, the kitchen is small, so you should only think of it as a place to cook simple meals. Otherwise, like me, you'd spend money if you didn't cook at all, but it's convenient to buy food and barely wash the dishes. The kids enjoyed simple meals of rice wrapped in seaweed, so I thought about making rice in the provided rice cooker, but the luggage space was tight, so I didn't dare bring it out, so I just cooked rice. If you're traveling alone without children, it'll be easier to pack less and cook. Before staying here, I'd stayed at another place that had ample toilet paper and laundry detergent, so I assumed other places would have the same. However, since it's not a hotel, it seems like things are a bit different. When I stayed here, I had to buy toilet paper and detergent. Bathroom There was only half a roll of toilet paper hanging in the laundry basket, and while I knew there was detergent, it was almost empty. I tried to avoid doing laundry if possible, but my child spilled chocolate milk on the rabbit doll. ㅠ This is my first time using Live Anywhere, so I'm not sure if I can ask the host about this, and it's a hassle, so I just bought it. I think it's fine to bring it from home. Otherwise, you can ask in advance before booking. Other reviews said the ocean was right in front, so I was really excited. However, there was a high tide. Unfortunately, when I went, the water was high during the day, so I had to walk 7-8 minutes to the main beach where there was sand to play. It's an easy walk for adults, but it was difficult with children. My child asked if we could stay in front of the main beach next time we visited. ㅠ I'll have to look into the high tide next time... While it wasn't an ocean view, it was on a high floor, so it didn't feel stuffy. There was an empty building in front, so it was easy to keep the curtains open. It was a comfortable stay for three people, including three children. It's the same. There was an underground parking lot and an outdoor parking lot, but they were narrow, so you'd have to be careful with anything larger than an SUV. It rained often during my stay, so a dehumidifier was a definite must. However, September in Jeju is still summer, so turning on the air conditioning was fine. If you're looking to travel economically without any plans to post on Instagram or a blog, this is a great value accommodation. It's not worth complaining about the old facilities or anything, so I recommend it for a long, economical trip. They provided plenty of towels and a good supply of daily necessities. Above all, it was safe because it was a residence within a hotel.
