I took on the challenge of living here for the first week with my three sisters, mother, and daughter. I was half worried, half excited. In one week, I felt like I'd been to almost all of North Jeolla Province: Sunchang, Gimje, Gunsan, Damyang, Namwon, and Jeongeup. Most of the surrounding area was within an hour's drive. The village was quiet and small. The house was clean, and while it seemed small, it was more than enough for a family of five to sleep and live in. I was worried about the cold, but the room was incredibly warm, and the bathroom was also heated. It snowed on the second day, which worried me, but the owner came to check on us. He took care of both minor and major issues, and even shoveled the snow to keep the car from slipping. I was so grateful. I broke two cups and had to buy new ones, but he was so kind and helpful. I had a great rest. Thank you for making my first week here such a memorable one.

I had a quiet and pleasant stay. I would like to come back next time if I have the opportunity. I checked out early so I couldn't take photos. There is no damage to the facilities or furnishings.

It was a little inconvenient because it was my first week there, but the owner responded quickly to even the smallest things, so I was grateful. He asked me first if I accidentally broke my mug 😂 and treated me to a cup of coffee, and I was touched by his selfless gratitude. I picked some mugwort from the field and ate it deliciously with soybean paste. While in Sunchang, I went to Sunchang Oil Market and Sunchang Gochujang. However, it was very deserted. Gangcheonsa and Bungeo Island are must-visit attractions you will never regret visiting. And I went around Jeonju, Damyang, Gwangju, 5.18, and Maisan. I said I would clean up as much as I could at check-out, but I guess it wasn't enough. I had a great week, so thank you. Using Sunchang as a base, I will challenge myself to live here and there for a week. On the way back, from Gurye to Seomjin River ~~

With a romantic notion of a country home, I arrived at my destination a little late in the evening. After unpacking and exploring, I found the interior, while not modern, cozy and comfortable. The bedroom and living room, along with the beautiful wooden floor and kitchen, were immaculately appointed with kitchenware and a variety of cooking utensils. I felt the host's meticulous attention to detail everywhere. The next morning, the view outside the house wasn't flashy, but it was surrounded by cypress trees. The well-kept garden and house were just what I'd been looking for. I left that thought behind. As I began to explore, I felt a bit disappointed that I didn't have enough time. However, if I had the chance, I'd love to return in the spring or fall.

It rained heavily during my stay, so I couldn't walk around, but the garden was spacious, so when the rain stopped, my dog ran around happily. There was a veranda and an outdoor bench, so it was charming and happy just staying inside. Above all, it was nice that it was cool even without an air conditioner or fan because it rained! The host's voice was cool, and she was delicate, considerate, and kind. It was comfortable because it was non-face-to-face, and it's a place I want to stay again next time. Thank you for letting me stay in a clean and nice house.

I had a peaceful week! While parking and exiting the parking lot felt a bit stressful, I thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and secluded atmosphere of Sunchang. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the thoughtful interior design that ensured a comfortable stay. I'll be back again soon :)

The host was friendly and the facilities were remodeled, which was satisfying, but it was a shame that there was a bad smell coming from the main entrance. It was great to finally be able to live in the countryside. Thank you.
