I usually travel to Jeju Island primarily in the east and south, so this time I chose a hotel in Hallim and explored the west. I stayed there for six nights and was very satisfied. Most online reviews of Jeju Island destinations suggest the east and south, but the west side has more to see and do than I expected, and the location of the hotel made it very convenient to get around. The owner provided a list of nearby attractions and restaurants. I didn't get to try them all, but I did try two and three, and the food was delicious. There's also a small vegetable garden in front of the hotel, and they said we could pick as much fruit as we wanted while grilling meat. However, it was very windy during that time, so I regretted not grilling meat. I had a wonderful time with my family at Hallim at the end of the year and the beginning of the new year.

This was my first trip to Jeju, and I had a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable stay. The garden out front had a variety of vegetables, so I had planned to eat out for all my meals, but I also enjoyed home-cooked meals and munching on lettuce like a goat in the morning. Kitchenware was a given, and *** even had ****, so I made some pickled vegetables and laughed out loud. I'd love to come back again.

I lived in Jeju for two weeks with my baby who is about to turn one. First of all, the area called Hallim itself is located between Hyeopjae and Aewol, so it doesn't take long to get anywhere (by car), which was very convenient. Thanks to the host and the quiet but warm Hallim merchants, I had a great time. The accommodation condition was also very good, and the host prepared a lot of items in advance, so I was able to rest comfortably without any difficulties during my stay. There was a separate terrace, so I could grill meat with my wife while the baby was sleeping, and chat without worrying about the cold. The host grew crops (radish, lettuce, etc.), and he was considerate enough to let me pick them and eat them whenever I wanted, so I used them when cooking. I think I've been to Jeju about 6 or 7 times before this trip, but I've always stayed on the east side of Jeju, so this was my first time traveling to the west, and I made a lot of new and happy memories. It was great to start the morning looking at Biyangdo, and I also enjoyed the scenery while climbing several mountains (Saebyeol Oreum, Geum Oreum, and even Gunsan Oreum, which goes a little further). I definitely want to come back when my baby is a little older. Thank you to the host for your hospitality!

I stayed from July 29 to August 12, 2024. First of all, the location of the accommodation was good. There are many convenient facilities such as hospitals, marts, and restaurants nearby, and Hyeopjae and Geumneung beaches are close. Gwakji Beach is not far away, so it was nice to be able to swim and snorkel. The owner managed the private accommodation well, so it was good for a family of four to stay, and I was surprised that my parents came and went for 3 days and did not charge any additional fees. The management fee for 2 weeks was only 30,000 won. It felt like I was staying at someone I knew's house. Thanks to the owner, my impression of Jeju people has improved. Thank you.

The owner was kind and it was a fun time with the surrounding tourist attractions and delicious restaurants. If I get a chance, I want to go again next year. It was nice that the Olle Trail was on the coast, even though it was outside of Hallim. It was also nice that I could eat lettuce from the garden.
