After retiring, this third month-long stay in Jeju this year seems to have given me the strength to redesign my path through middle age. During my stay from April 21 to May 20, 2026, the greatest charm of this place was the ability to fully enjoy Jeju's natural beauty and peaceful rest. As a private villa-style pension, I was able to spend leisurely time without any interruptions, and the beautifully maintained courtyard landscaping presented different scenery every morning and evening. Sitting under the shade of trees in the courtyard where flowers, trees, and Jeju stone walls harmonize, I could feel a tranquility as if time itself flowed slowly. The charming stone wall paths surrounding the accommodation preserved the authentic atmosphere of old Jeju villages, making walks particularly enjoyable. Walking in the early morning while listening to bird songs was wonderful, and the time spent strolling along the stone wall paths under the reddening sky at sunset became a precious memory of my month-long stay in Jeju. The blue sea, which could be reached with just a short walk, was also a great attraction. The sea breeze and the gentle sound of waves brought peace to my heart and helped me understand what true rest means, away from the complexities of daily life. The month-long experience at Jeju Pulkkot Dabin House was a precious time that taught me how to shape my life in middle age.

This was my first time living in the Namwon area of Jeju for a month, and it really changed my top priority for where I wanted to live in Jeju. Personally, I dislike tourist-heavy neighborhoods, so I've always sought out quiet, secluded places. The Namwon area, however, was still relatively uncrowded, which was nice. <Neighborhood Atmosphere> A leisurely five-minute walk to the beach revealed stunning ocean views. A stroll around the neighborhood revealed cleaner, prettier houses than in other neighborhoods. Hanaro, Starbucks, and Daiso were all within a three-minute drive, so living here was hassle-free. There were also local restaurants, bakeries, and cafes within a 5-10-minute walk, which I frequented often. And the bus stop just a minute from my house was a bonus! <Accommodation> My first impression was that the space was filled with a sense of place, reminiscent of a small European country house. Even the sight of butterflies in the small European-style yard, filled with a variety of flowers and plants, was a healing point every morning. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fairly large living room and kitchen, there was plenty of space for four adults. With air conditioning in both the bedrooms and living room, I didn't even notice the heat. I stayed here for two weeks with my two dogs, and friends visited on the weekend. The water pressure was strong, and the shower hot water came out as soon as the boiler was turned on, so even three women shared the space without any problems. The beds were so comfortable that I slept better than at home. I also loved the kitchen, where I could cook various dishes. I also loved the wooden table, which was large enough for four people. I also appreciated the fact that I could do laundry almost every other day. The outdoor jacuzzi was so open that it was visible from the neighbors, so I could only dip my feet in it. I didn't use the charcoal grill in the jar because it was too hot, but I'd definitely try it if I visited in a different season. Parking One car can be parked in the yard, which is very convenient for moving luggage. They also said you can park at the community center right next to the house, so you can use it if you have visiting vehicles. <It's okay if it's inconvenient.> - The shower is only in the bedroom bathroom, so you can only wash your face in the living room bathroom. - The sink faucet is pretty, but it splashes so much that the dishes are covered in water after washing. - Since we only have antique dishes and cups, I'm always careful when washing dishes. I bought my own mug. - Since most of our cooking utensils are cast iron, I also bought a cheap frying pan. It was a wonderful two weeks.

Seogwipo Namwon is my favorite place to live for a month. I've lived there for a month every spring for the past three years, and while searching for accommodations on Live Anywhere, I saw 'Jeju Grass Flower' which I really liked and had a good price-to-performance ratio, and made a reservation in January. Namwon has good transportation and many hidden attractions. I was excited. When I first visited the accommodation for a month, I was impressed. First of all, it was beautiful, and clean, and convenient. The antique interior that I like, and luxurious props and appliances, and a well-kept garden. I was so happy with the routine of having drip coffee every morning, and sitting on the terrace in the yard and healing. I also walked to the beach, which was a 5-minute walk away, and often. It was also nice to go to Seogwipo, Seongsan, and Jochon. The host, who was sensible and cheerful, was the best host ever. The restaurant he recommended was so delicious. Okdom House, Soyo Pasta House. Mother Cafe, Lobinghwa. It's been a few days since I left Jeju, but I still remember the green forests of Jeju, the sea of Taeheung-ri, and the beautiful Jeju grass flower accommodation. A place I want to go again. 'Jeju Grass Flower', which became Jeju's one-pick accommodation. Thank you to the host who made beautiful memories, and I was thankful for the friends who were with me. I was happy.

It was close to Namwon-eup and the 201 bus ran frequently, so it was convenient to live there, and the accommodation was pretty and clean, which was nice. There was a water purifier and a coffee drip machine, so it was unexpectedly equipped with everything. In particular, the host bought us meals and invited us to a golf round and treated us really well. It was the best ~♡ Thank you so much~~^^
