A 70-year-old traditional Korean house in a quiet neighborhood near the city

It was nice to play with Jack in the yard, go shopping in Jinbu City, and go to the ski resort, which was not too far away. And the countless stars that could be seen in the night sky were very impressive. It was a great place to introduce the Milky Way and constellations to the kids. And it was warm and not as cold as I thought because of the wind. The sound of the wood burning in the wood stove was also really nice. There was a train track in front, so rather than being noisy, the kids were excited every time the train passed. Next time, I want to try feeding the goats and making cheese. Thanks to the kind owner, it was a pleasant week.

January 1~14. I stayed for 15 days. Mom, two kids + dad for 3 days / grandma and aunt for 4 days. First of all, the accommodation is clean and has a good atmosphere, The host is kind and explains everything in detail, and since he visits the ranch across the accommodation every day, I can comfortably ask him anything I need or ask him. What my mom liked. The yard is wide and there is a dog, so the country life that the kids might get bored was safe and enjoyable. Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, Chuhyup Hanaro Mart, Daiso, and Lotte Super are 7 minutes away by car (in town?), and there are restaurants, chicken restaurants, pizza restaurants, and Lotteria nearby, so I was able to get all the necessities and groceries without any inconvenience. It was really nice because it was a private house, so no one noticed even if the kids were making noise and screaming. It was nice that there was a radiator(?) in the bathroom, so it was warm. A high-performance hair dryer, 2 multi-chargers, **** ** and ****, etc. were meticulously planned. The children also enjoyed playing with the books and blocks on the bookshelf. We could light a fire in the fireplace and have a good time. I didn't know, but the town was 7 minutes away and held the Pyeongchang Trout Festival, so we went there several times to see it, experience it, and eat delicious trout. What the children liked. They said the best thing was giving the dog snacks, walking it, and running around here and there in the yard. In the snowy winter, we went sledding on the slope right next to the house all day until it got dark. (I think my children did everything they could do with snow.) Watching movies on the huge TV like in a movie theater while eating popcorn. A little inconvenient. It was a little cold because it was an old house and there was a draft. But we brought a one-touch tent and a small electric mat and used them well. The laundry room was outside, so it was inconvenient to check the laundry progress. Living in the city, I was so nervous and cautious, so I went to this place with the theme of "rest." It was perfect for us to spend time together, laughing and having fun, and we had a comfortable and fun time. In the middle, I was a little bored, so I went to Gangneung and Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch. I tried to go to Anbandegi nearby, but it was too cold, so I didn't go. This is a house that my kids and I have marked down to visit again next time. If you need a rest with a fire, I recommend it~~

I spent a week with my family I wanted to experience this at least once, so my family took me there A little nervously I sat on the porch and stared blankly at the grass in the yard And the raccoons that were common in the countryside in the past, but now they're all gone. It's located in the best place where you can get to anywhere in Gangwon-do within an hour, so I think it's an advantage that other accommodations don't have. It's not very close to anywhere, but when you look at the whole of Gangwon-do, you can get to every place in about an hour. You can see it as a location Young owners everywhere. I could feel the consideration, so I could sufficiently cover the somewhat distant feeling of the 70-year-old Hanok, and there was nothing missing. Even the bookshelves were full of useful books, not just decorative ones. I felt better sleeping in the study than in the bedroom. I can't help but think of the shack next to the train tracks. You can watch the trains while you sleep. It's a place that has both advantages and disadvantages. People may like it or not, but I liked it. It's scary when it's too quiet. Phytoncide overflows from all sides. I think those who are sick will recover their health. I'm lucky. Maybe that's why I was able to taste a few tomatoes in the yard, but they didn't taste good. We also farm, but they didn't taste good. What is it? Is it because the temperature is low that all the crops taste good? I'll guess. Pension, hotel, apartment. For those who are tired of resorts, I highly recommend it. The first day may be awkward, but after sleeping for one night, you will feel the real thing.

It was a very satisfying week. A week goes by so quickly~ I wasn't bored at all, and I woke up early in the morning, so even though the day was long, I didn't feel bored for long. I walked my dog 'Jack', played with him, toured the nearby valley and tourist attractions, went shopping in town, had three delicious meals, and dozed off in the afternoon. The day flew by. Sadly, today is the day I check out. I feel lonely already, perhaps because I've become attached to it. In the evening, the sky was filled with twinkling stars and the sound of crickets was lovely. No one said anything even when I turned up the music volume. At first, I was startled by the sound of the train passing by, but later, it was fun, like a chatty friend passing by in this very quiet place, and it wasn't too quiet, so it was nice. It was cool enough that I didn't turn on the air conditioner even once, even though it was midsummer. You can't say it's a tropical climate here. It was so cold that I slept under a blanket. The only inconvenient thing is that there are a lot of summer kids like moths, insects, and mayflies at night. (There were almost no mosquitoes.) The host was very kind and I felt that he was very considerate so that we could rest comfortably. He also picked paprika and tomatoes for us and we ate them well. Thank you. I don't have to worry about summer vacation spots anymore. I think this place where air conditioning is not needed is the best vacation spot. I'll rest well and go. See you next time.~^^

I was so grateful and happy to be able to spend a very satisfying and enjoyable week. Even though I visited with high expectations, it was a trip that was even better because of the facilities and the owner's kind service that exceeded my expectations (the puppy was also very cute!). I was a little worried about heating because it was a building, but there was no inconvenience at all, and if you make good use of the fireplace, you can catch two birds with one stone: comfort and atmosphere! You can also barbecue and have a fire in the yard. You can think of utility bills as being around 100,000 won per week in winter. If you are planning a healing trip, I recommend it without a doubt. If you are planning an active trip like us, you can visit the quiet Woljeongsa Temple, the fir forest, Alpensia Resort, the sheep ranch with cute sheep, and Gangneung Beach with many views and delicious food within an hour by car, so if you join us, you can enjoy your trip even more! I would 100% visit again! I will visit again next time!

During the 6 nights and 7 days of the Lunar New Year holiday, we went sledding on the slope of the neighboring field, walked the dog, met baby goats, had a barbecue, and enjoyed a fire in front of the wood stove every evening, and the most delicious sweet potatoes... Our family came back with a lot of happy memories. The sound of the train starting early every morning and the scenery passing by were lovely, and we didn't have to use the electric blanket we brought just in case, and we were able to relieve all the day's fatigue on the warm floor of the mud floor. We took the Balwangsan cable car up to enjoy snow flower trekking, and we also visited Gangneung, Jeongdongjin, Bongpyeong 5-day market, Lee Hyo-seok Moonlight Hill, Mui Art Museum, and Jinbu 5-day market. Our family travels a lot, but this trip will be a memorable one for a long time. I sincerely thank the host for his kind hospitality and consideration in many ways!!

The kids loved it so much. They still miss their puppy Jack. We had a great time sledding on the hill next door. (It's better than the paid sledding at the ski resort.) I ordered the sledding from Coupang and it was delivered in one day. The host is so kind, and the location of the accommodation is great for skiing or going to the beach. There are many delicious restaurants in Jinbu, and there is a mart, Daiso, bathhouse, bakery, and cafe within a 5-minute drive. There are also many good books in the accommodation, so it's nice to read while enjoying the sunshine. I'm going to finish reading 'The Prayer of Jabez'.^^ There was an additional cost of ₩55,000 for kerosene, firewood, etc., and the host helped with some of it. It was a great memory for a week.

There are no houses nearby, so it is literally quiet and there are few people, so it was good for a quiet rest. The owner couple comes by once in the morning and evening to take care of the dog, goose, and sheep farm. You can use restaurants, convenience stores, marts, and bakeries in Jinbu. It was good to take a walk along Odaecheon. When you check out, you have to pay for the electricity and fuel you used, but if you use less, you won't be charged. We got used to it in one day, but it might be uncomfortable for those who are sensitive to KTX noise, vibration, and bugs. In pensions, hotels, and tourist attractions, there are many times when you frown because of people and trash, but in that respect, it is a perfect environment.
