A relaxing country house with a yard to heal and recharge your life in a single-family home in Geoje

I chose this accommodation for a month-long stay in Geoje with my dog. The house is in a quiet village with a yard, so my dog would wake me up every morning wanting to go out to the yard and was so happy. The neighbors were also very kind and took good care of us. The house had plenty of blankets and all the necessary living supplies, which was convenient. The location was great because we could visit Tongyeong and explore various places around Geoje. There's a 5-day market and a mart about 5 minutes away by car, making shopping convenient, and there's also a nearby E-mart 24 convenience store, which is nice. We had a wonderful time in Geoje. The cats in the neighborhood are so cute. When we grill meat, they slowly sneak into the yard.

We chose a house with a yard, hoping our child would have plenty of room to run around and play. It was the perfect choice. We enjoyed family tea time in the sun-filled living room, took walks to the local beach, and had such a blast that my child said he wanted to live here forever. The house was also well-heated and warm, so we had no worries.

I had a wonderful week. The yard was clean and neat, and the kids had a great time running around. I would 100% return.

My husband wanted a place near the ocean, and I wanted a quiet, even serene place. So I quickly looked for a detached house in the countryside and paid for it the day before check-in. I arrived in Geoje after driving for five hours without stopping with excitement. My first impression was that I was visiting my grandparents’ house in the countryside, which was cozy and warm. It was a pretty house with the owner’s touch here and there. I could see that they had meticulously considered the cold in the winter. Thanks to that, I was warm and comfortable throughout my stay. As long as we were quiet, we woke up naturally without an alarm in a place where there was no noise, and we had time to leisurely enjoy coffee and contemplate in the living room with warm sunlight. We ate when we were hungry and slept when we were sleepy. Whether it was naturalness or freedom, it was a happy time of liberation from everyday life. In Sarangchae, there was equipment for having a barbecue in a camping atmosphere, so we had a delicious meal. Then, looking up at the night sky, I saw stars that I couldn't see in the city. It's a space full of star romance. This is a quiet village house, but there are oyster restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance, and the commercial area of Geoje-myeon and downtown Geoje are not far away by car. Tourist attractions such as Geoje Botanical Garden and Maemi Castle, as well as famous large cafes, are relatively close, so you can enjoy sightseeing while taking a break. I was sad that 9 days passed by so quickly. I think that booking this accommodation was the kick of our vacation. As I checked out and came back, I said that I definitely wanted to live in a house like this when I'm old. I'll definitely go back next time if I have the chance. I'm late with my review because I've been busy with my daily life since I came back. I already miss Geoje. The third week living with my dog after retirement. 1. It was a detached house in a location that perfectly fits the expression of living in a leisurely and peaceful country house for a week. 2. A place where you open the morning to the sound of birds and when it gets dark, you can only hear the sound of frogs croaking. The small yard that you can go out to as soon as you open the door was a comfortable space for the youngest of the family and my dog. 3. For two days, we drove to Dongbu-myeon, Nambu-myeon, and famous tourist destinations, one day to Tongyeong, and one day to enjoy a walking tour of the city within 20 minutes by car, Gohyeon Market, an espresso bar, and a seawater sauna. A walk while watching the sunset at Sagok Beach within 15 minutes by car will be a memorable time. Supso-ri Park, within 10 minutes by car, was a very nice park where only the facilities were paid and admission was free. It was a pity that we could not see the flowers in full bloom at the hydrangea garden (it seems that they will be in full bloom in a week or two), but it was a very good park for us and our dog. All the octopus dishes at "Bokgaecheon Restaurant" in Geoje-myeon were impressive. The tropical dome botanical garden was also very good, and I also highly recommend the panoramic cable car 30 minutes away (Crystal was good). First of all, the good weather supported us. 4. People living in urban housing may be a bit concerned about insects and bugs living in nature, so you should just live together. All home appliances, bedding, **, ****, etc. are provided so that you do not feel uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi is good. The host was a kind person who answered questions immediately. 5. I think of the warm scenery of colorful laundry hanging in the front yard blowing in the wind. If you think of it as living in a "countryside village house" in the countryside, you will have a very good stay in Geoje. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a quiet retreat with their dog, or to families looking to give their children an emotional experience they can't experience in an apartment. While looking for a place to stay for a week in Geoje to spend the kids' summer vacation together, I found this cozy rural village. I don't think there's a better place for office workers who are caught up in the busy rhythm of city life. I felt familiar with the reviews and photos before coming, but after moving in, I could feel how much the host puts effort into welcoming us. Although I arrived a little late on the first day, I bought some Yakdol Samgyeopsal (pork belly) from Mungyeong Rest Stop and grilled it in the yard. I fell asleep listening to the sound of insects and woke up to the pleasant sound of birds outside the window. It was like a dream. Looking back on what I did for a week, I let the kids out on the lawn, did laundry, hung it out to dry, and cooked rice, got perilla leaves that my neighbor planted and made wraps with them, went to a very nearby island (Sandaldo?) and had a meal with the driver, went to Arabey, which is 20-30 minutes away by car, and rode a buggy (my older child likes it the most), went to Windy Hill and Oedo Botania (Geoje attractions), which are 30 minutes away in another direction, and went for a walk with the kids to the nearby Forest Sound Park by car. Most impressive view: I definitely recommend taking the panoramic cable car at sunset. There is no other spectacular view. Regrettable points: Forgetting to go to the 5-day market, not being able to ride the jet boat because it broke down, Except for the fact that it was a little hard to endure because it was the hottest season ever, everything was perfect. The host who gave me a book at the end was so kind! If I get another chance in another season, I would like to stay here again.
