I spent months searching for a two-week accommodation in Jeju. I compared countless places. Then I discovered Songsong House at Wimi Port in Jeju. Finally arriving at Wimi Port. The hydrangeas in front of the accommodation greeted us first, and the view was truly breathtaking. But the real emotion came the moment I opened the door and stepped inside. Soft music, sensory lighting, flowers placed in each room, and warm sentiment throughout. It felt more like a small exhibition space filled with someone's taste and love rather than just an accommodation. When I even saw the handwritten letter from the host, I thought, "What kind of person is the host?" My wife, who came with me, kept taking photos and marveled, "I wish we could decorate our home like this." Cleanliness, bed, bathroom, kitchen—nothing was lacking. But Songsong House had a hidden treasure. The owner's garden that unfolds the moment you open the door. It's a flower garden personally maintained by the host's relative, and they kindly welcomed us to visit anytime. When I opened the window, hydrangeas and flowers spread before my eyes, and as I sipped coffee and gazed at them, I lost track of time. Honestly, it was more beautiful than famous hydrangea spots. What moved me even more was a bouquet of roses hanging on the door in the morning, colorful hydrangea bouquets a few days later, and a giant potato gifted days after that (we made potato pancakes with it haha). I never expected to receive such love at an accommodation. Just a 3-minute walk to Wimi Beach, and the view of Hallasan Mountain from Wimi Bridge was truly like a jewel. My heart healed with daily morning and evening walks. It was perfect for staying, with Olle Trail, convenience stores, bus stops, and restaurants all nearby. Songsong House is not just a simple accommodation. It's a space sincerely prepared for someone's rest. Both body and mind are restored. I sincerely thank the host and the warm family members of the owner's house. I already miss Wimi Port. I will come again. Songsong House—not just a place to stay, but a place to live. Thank you.

I spent two weeks here with my two daughters. I was grateful for the warm welcome, and everything was provided, making my stay a satisfying one. The beach is close, so access to the ocean was easy, and there were plenty of hidden gems nearby. :)) The heating and hot water were also convenient, and I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.

This is the place we chose for our first trip to Jeju with my daughter! As soon as she arrived, she was so excited, exclaiming, "Mom, are we living here?" It made me feel proud. I wanted to find a place where we could both focus, but not too noisy, and this place was a great choice! We shared a living room and kitchen, but the interior was clean and neat, and the two bedrooms were beautifully decorated. Wimi, if you walk along Wimi Port, comes across a bridge called Wimiway. The view of Hallasan Mountain from there is breathtaking. Every morning, I would stand on the bridge and take photos of Hallasan Mountain, which changed each day. Walking along the seaside path also gave me a sense of relief and refreshment. Nearby, there's a convenience store, Ediya, Compass, a delicious restaurant, and a bakery, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The host is cheerful and friendly, and she's always available to answer any questions, making our stay even more comfortable! Thank you for giving me good memories~

It was a time when I visited Jeju Island for a short stay with my daughter who is in the 4th grade, and it was a time when I could completely immerse myself in the charm of Jeju Wimi. It is a place where you can see Jeju Vida and Hinra Mountain at a glance~ Wimi Port and Olle Trail walking were romantic times. The quiet old house was decorated beautifully and comfortably with a lot of sense, so it was comfortable to stay. There is no separate living room, but the kitchen table space is wide, and the two rooms are large, so I was able to eat and sleep comfortably. Wimi is a small town with picturesque tangerine and natural fragrance trees along the roadside, as expected of Seogwipo City, and the accommodations are not crowded, but There is a convenience store/Ediya right behind the house, and there are Hanaro Mart, a raw fish center, a book cafe, and delicious restaurants for rice/bread/coffee, so it was fun to look around, and Olle Market and Soesogak are close by, so there were plenty of things to do in the vicinity. The host communicated clearly and kindly, so I felt very secure. I was really happy to receive a dreamlike time in Jeju as a gift.

Is there another place that fits Jeju life in winter as well as Wimi? ^^ The accommodation was comfortable like a warm neighborhood, and I think it will remain in my memory for a long time because of its excellent location and convenience. I was so grateful for the stylish interior and meticulous consideration. I chose this place just by looking at the location and atmosphere of the accommodation, but there are many Instagram-worthy bakeries nearby, and if you walk along the Olle Trail coast behind the accommodation, there are many great cafes~ and unique bookstores here and there! Ah.. Wimi kimbap and tteokbokki, Olle chicken ㅎㅎ I think I'll have to endure Wimi sickness for a while ^^;; The neighborhood is attractive just with the winter camellias, but how wonderful it will be when the rapeseed and cherry blossoms are in full bloom~ I want to go there again when it turns into a cherry blossom road!

I made a reservation and stayed for a week because my child's kindergarten was on winter break. It is well-equipped without any shortcomings. Wimi is a quiet and pretty neighborhood. There are many good restaurants (I found them usefully by looking at the booklet the owner made~^^) I went for a walk around the neighborhood with my child and had a good rest without any inconvenience. The owner was also cheerful and left a text message after I checked out, so I was grateful~ I want to visit in the summer too. I had a good rest^^

After working in Tehran-ro, Seoul for over 10 years, I had a great opportunity to come to Jeju for a workation. When I was looking for a place to stay, the three things I considered most important were 1. a detached house, 2. proximity to the coast (within walking distance), 3. a nature-friendly place with a garden. I spent another month and a day in a place that fit these three criteria perfectly. If only these three criteria had been met, I would have wanted nothing more, but this house had many more advantages. 1. Detached house Most detached houses in the 2 million won range per month are renovated warehouses attached to the main house, so they often lack independence. However, this house is separated from the main house by a stone wall, so independence is guaranteed. That’s why I felt like I was living alone during my stay. The owner, who lives in the main house beyond the stone wall, does gardening. She is very kind and hospitable to guests, so she lets me see the yard garden that she has tended herself. So I didn’t have to go to a tourist attraction to see flowers. Drinking a cup of coffee and walking through the flower-filled garden was my morning routine while staying in this house. 2. Interior space When you open the front door that can be locked with a door lock, you can see a simple living room with a kitchen attached. When you enter the room, you can see a small room with a TV, a sofa, and a single bed, and a large room with a double bed and a dressing table. Personally, when there were no guests, I slept in the large room, rested on the sofa in the small room, and worked at the round table in the living room. There was no separate closet, so it felt more spacious than the stated square footage. One unique thing is that there was no separate construction on the floor. At first, the cement floor felt awkward, but since I mostly wore slippers, that awkwardness did not last long, and I think it was actually convenient when cleaning. Also, the bathroom is very spacious compared to the size of the house. It was a very good environment for me, who values washing comfortably. There is a shower curtain and the floor is well-leveled, so it is very easy to maintain dry. There is no bidet, but there is a heated toilet seat, so there was no major inconvenience in using it. 3. Interior and living convenience items The landlord put a lot of thought into the interior. Each room has at least two mood lights, and various air fresheners such as candle warmers and cinnamon sticks are also provided. There is also a complete supply of antique tableware, vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers, and insecticides. All the basic ingredients needed for cooking (olive oil, etc.) are also provided, so you can live comfortably for a month just by coming here. Since Wimi also has Coupang Delivery, I recommend coming lightly and buying the necessary items. Of course, you won't have to buy anything extra. 4. Location and convenience items I knew about Wimi Port because I walked the Jeju Olle Trail before. The Jeju Olle Trail Course 5, famous for its beauty, passes through this small rural village, and you can enter the Olle Trail Course in 2 minutes on foot from the house. Usually, the coastal Olle Trail lacks infrastructure, but this house is located in the main center of Wimi-ri, so a convenience store, Hanaro Mart, a separate waste collection area, and a convenience store are all within walking distance. Wimi Elementary School is also nearby, so the walking environment is good, such as security. There are also golf courses nearby, from small CCs like Springfield CC and Wooridul CC to large CCs like Haebeach and Lotte Skyhill. There is an indoor practice range (Grand Golf Practice Range) that can be used leisurely within 15 minutes by car, so it is a good environment for practicing golf, which is difficult to do in Seoul. I used this practice range for a month, and I went to the driving range every morning while looking at Mt. Halla. Even the PT shop that can be used is located in the building right next to the house, so it is hard to believe that this is a rural village with little people, so the infrastructure is well-equipped. 5. Nature As described in number 4, it is adjacent to Olle Trail Course 5, so you can enjoy the blue sea and greenery as much as you want. And it is strangely sparsely populated, so if you want, you can spend a day quietly without saying a word. It is a place where you can hear more birdsong and waves than people talking. Living a month in a foreign land may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Most people don't even get this opportunity before retirement. It is a precious time in life that is hard to come by again, so recommending a place to stay is a very careful task. However, I am confident that this house will fill your month with rest.
