Jongdal Doljip House Two-room Independent Ire House

This was the perfect house for my family, who was living in Jeju for the first time for a week. Pros - Since we have a baby, the bedroom and living room are separate, so it was nice to spend dinner with my husband in the living room after work. - The stone wall and mountain scenery that I could see right when I opened the curtains at the dining table made me feel like I was really here to rest, so much so that I said every day that I should buy bread instead of going to a cafe. - It was really nice that I could park right in front of the house. - There was a brazier, so I could have a fire in the yard, and I grilled meat 3 times. - I thought the bathroom would be cold, but the heater in the ceiling?? was really nice, and I was able to take a warm shower. - One was an ondol room and one was a bed room, so I liked sleeping in the ondol room with the baby. Cons?? - If I had to pick one, it would be that it was convenient and that I had to drive to the mart??? We always went grocery shopping and ate dinner, so the fact that the convenience store and mart were far away wasn't really a disadvantage~ It was so good that my child always said he wanted to go to Jeju Island again at home. When my child gets a little older, we plan to go for a week in the summer. Boss~ I'll go next summer! Stay healthy:)

The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful, so it was fun to wander around. Just stepping outside, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak was right in front of me, and it felt so real. It was so nice. ㅠ My first impression when I walked in was how clean and comfortable it felt. It had everything I needed, and it was perfect for a week. There was a heater in the bathroom ceiling, so it wasn't cold when I bathed the baby. I didn't turn it on very often. October in Jeju is still quite hot. ㅎ Life in Jeju is the best!!

The end of Jeju, Jongdal-ri… … Jongdal-ri is said to mean the end of Jeju Island. Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak can be seen on the right side of Jongdal Beach, and Udo Island can be seen on the left. The beach was shining with an emerald color. The accommodation, which was about a 7-8 minute walk from the beach, had a cozy yard with a refreshing sound of stepping on pebbles, and the tree planted in the middle reminded me that I was in Jeju every time I opened the front door. There was a storage room in one corner of the yard with various necessary items such as a makeshift table, barbecue tools, fishing rods, board games, a small sink, etc. There was also a tap next to the storage room, so it was very convenient for the kids to clean up after playing in the water. Behind the tap was my favorite fig tree, which was full of fruit. I think it will ripen red when the autumn wind blows. Gray cats and calico cats also came to play in the yard, and sometimes rested for a while. When I often walk around Jongdal-ri, there are many cars parked on the street, but our accommodation was really nice because we could park our car in the yard inside the accommodation. They took our car by boat, so it felt safer and more comfortable to park in the yard. When you enter the accommodation, there are two rooms to rest on the left, and a living room, kitchen, and bathroom on the right. One of the two rooms has air conditioning, so it was very comfortable, and in addition to the air conditioning on the ceiling of the living room, there was also a dehumidifier and an electric fan, so there was no need to worry about laundry even if there was only a washing machine. After doing laundry in the spacious bathroom and hanging it on the drying rack, the laundry dried fluffy even with the air conditioning and dehumidifier (of course, this is on rainy or humid days in summer). Usually, if you hang it on the drying rack in the yard, it gets stuck to the towel and smells like sunlight. The main branch of Seongsan Hanaro Mart is 10 minutes away, and since the kids like home-cooked meals, we often bought groceries and ate them. The kitchen was very convenient for cooking, and there were plenty of dishes. I think you should just bring the necessary seasonings in the right amount. The meals we had while sitting around the table and looking out the large window at the stone wall were charming. The host guided us very kindly, and we stayed like our own home, like a family home, without any extras, but we came back with regrets. Every corner of Jongdal-ri Village was so cute, and the village, stores, and owners were so friendly, I want to stay in Jongdal-ri a little longer next time. We had fun at Samyang, Gimnyeong Beach, and Saetdo-ri, and climbed the local Jimibong and Hallasan Mountains. A week in Jeju Island is really short.

This was my second visit. What more can I say? It's not easy to revisit Jeju, where there are so many accommodations. The location, facilities, and the host's kindness are all top-notch. This is a great place to stay if you're traveling with family. There's a courtyard water tap that's great for water play, a tea room that's great for storage, and on nice days, you can even have a barbecue in the courtyard~~ This time, too, it was a happy time for the whole family.

I was a little worried when I arrived because my kids like resorts, but I liked the house as soon as I saw it because it was pretty~ It was a shame that I couldn't explore the neighborhood because it rained a lot while I was there. There are good restaurants that taste like home cooking in Jongdal-ri, a good bookstore to go to on a rainy day, and a beach nearby, so I want to slowly walk around the neighborhood next time I have a chance. There is also a large agricultural cooperative about 10 minutes away by car, so it was good to buy abalone, hallabong, etc.~ When I sit at home, I can see the stone wall and the hill through the window, and the house is neat and pretty, so it was nice to spend time with the kids. I was grateful that they responded kindly whenever I contacted them with questions^^

This was my first trip to Jeju with young children, so I chose this house after much deliberation, and I was so satisfied♡ The house and yard were pretty, and the view outside from the house was Jeju-like and pretty Jongdal-ri Village was quiet, so it was nice to take a walk I was worried about bugs because the weather was getting warmer, but there weren't any, except for the occasional bug that came in from somewhere :)

It is a comfortable house in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. It is good for sightseeing in the east, and there is a yard and a warehouse, so it is easy to clean up after playing in the water. The owner is quick and kind.
