Hajodae Ocean View, Open-air, Modern, Clean, and Stylish Accommodation, Month-long Stay, Workcation

My daughter, now independent, joined us, and we had a truly fulfilling and fulfilling stay from December 25th to January 1st at a truly wonderful accommodation. We visited Sokcho for two days and Gangneung for one day, and explored various restaurants, hidden cafes, and tourist attractions in Yangyang. While preparing for the sunrise on January 1st, we also had a wonderful time contemplating which beach would be best for a perfect sunrise view. Jeongam Beach was too far from our accommodation, and Hajodae Beach wasn't quite our style, so we ended up going to Dongho Beach. While we were thrilled to spend the end of the year and the New Year at our accommodation, it seemed surprisingly lacking in good restaurants in Yangyang. However, for those looking to explore Sokcho and Gangneung and enjoy a quiet beach retreat, this accommodation was the perfect fit. Above all, the cleanliness and coziness, and the ocean view and sunrise from the window in the morning, are already making me long for it. The accommodation was warm and well-equipped, and the facilities were excellent. I was so happy to have chosen a great place to stay with my family for 7 nights and 8 days. On the way back, we crossed Hangyeryeong Pass to Inje, stopped by a makguksu restaurant, and even saw the Soyang River. From the way there to the way back, our Yangyang trip was packed with activities and no waste. I'm also grateful to the host who was so accommodating and prompt, even with the time difference due to roaming. I'd definitely like to come back again! ♡

This is my first review. Please definitely visit!! I plan to go again. I took my mother all the way to Gangwon-do and had a wonderful time. It's not easy to go from Jeolla-do to Gangwon-do. It's much prettier than the photos. The dazzlingly beautiful ocean view feels like a dream even now. Junggwangjung Beach is closer than Hajodae, so I went to see the sunrise twice. The sunrise rising above the horizon is beyond imagination. The accommodation has not a speck of dust on the window frames. It was cleaner than my own home. The host is amazing. I was fully immersed in the acacia fragrance as you mentioned, and the restaurant you recommended was truly excellent. I used every single amenity carefully and gratefully. I'm leaving with beautiful memories made in this wonderful place. Thank you, host! 💓

It's a quiet and cozy place. The bedding is comfortable, and the small room with a desk is especially useful for those working or working. The host's thoughtfulness and consideration for the guests is evident throughout. I'll be leaving after 15 days resting, working, tidying up, and recharging. The blue ocean, the morning sunlight, the beautifully renovated spaces, and the sofa where I could lie down and read a book—all of these will remain as fond memories. Thank you.

It was such a comfortable home. I came to write, and I was able to get a lot of work done. The house put me at ease, so even though it rained quite a bit during my stay, I was able to rest well at home. It's an older apartment, but it's well-maintained, and there's a bustling izakaya in the apartment complex, which was great. I want to come back again!

The accommodation was clean and beautiful, just like in the photos! Everything we needed was there, so we had a really comfortable stay. The host was thoughtful and kind. They recommended many great restaurants and attractions, so we were able to visit many wonderful places. We had a great rest! 😆

The moment I entered the accommodation, the sea view was really nice. It was clean, and the accommodation was just like the picture, so I felt happy that I made a good choice. I had a great time with the host's handwritten letter, which was carefully written one letter at a time, and the introduction to the yellow rapeseed field that was perfect for the season. The introduction of delicious restaurants, cafes, and places to visit that you sent me in advance was very helpful for my first two weeks alone in Yangyang. Since I had already lived in Jeju for a month, I used National Road 7 right in front of the accommodation, and freely traveled around Gangneung, Sokcho, Pyeongchang, etc., and I returned to my family's arms. And the sunrise I saw comfortably from the veranda on a nice day was really great. The blazing red sun and the round sun rising were impressive. I would like to thank the host again for taking great care of me by managing the accommodation so that I could stay clean and comfortable, and providing various useful information.^^
