A quiet Sokcho ocean view 2-room apartment for working travelers

Living with Cats for a Month I had a very comfortable stay ❤️ There's a large table to work or study at, and I can relax comfortably on the TV and sofa. The room is spacious, so there's no shortage of space. Cooking utensils and other supplies were meticulously prepared, so in fact (if it weren't for the cats) I think I could have stayed just fine with clothes and a toothbrush. ㅎㅎ The host was also really kind, and I'd love to go again if I have the chance. It's a 5-minute walk from Lighthouse Beach (it's practically right across the traffic light), and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. I actually find this area quieter than Sokcho Beach. 😆 I love walking, so I could park my car and walk to Sokcho Market, which only takes 20 minutes each way. ㅎㅎ When I wake up in the morning, I check the sunrise and watch it from inside or out on the beach. I take my folding chair to the beach, watch the waves during the day, and stargaze at night. I had a great rest :)

Although I'm a homebody, I enjoy nature and travel occasionally. This place was truly quiet with an amazing view, and it had all the household essentials, so it was wonderful just staying in. Yeongrangho Lake and Lighthouse Beach are each just a 5-minute walk away, which was perfect for walking my dog. The location is also great for visiting attractions throughout Gangwon Province, including Goseong, Inje, Pyeongchang, and Gangneung. The aroma of the prepared coffee beans was lovely, and although the washing machine was small and required frequent laundry, the dryer made it quite convenient. The host is extremely kind and responds quickly. It was also fascinating to experience the ever-changing colors and sounds of the sea from the living room and balcony depending on the weather. It was such a wonderful month-long stay in many ways that I'd love to visit again if the opportunity arises.

Above all, the host is the best! They took meticulous care of my needs and responded kindly, making me feel secure and happy throughout my stay. The accommodation was perfectly equipped with all the items necessary for daily living, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept soundly every night. It was also wonderful to relax while looking at the magnificent view outside the window. The surroundings were quiet, so I could rest without being disturbed, and I experienced absolutely no inconvenience during my stay. Thank you once again to the host for providing such a space filled with such care!

It was truly a comfortable stay, just like home. I would definitely return. The ocean view was fantastic, and the furniture, appliances, and amenities were impeccable.

♧Honest Review from a 21-Night Stayer♧ ♡ Pros 1. A 5-minute walk from Lighthouse Beach, perfect for swimming. 2. The entire apartment is quiet, with no parking issues. 3. Yeongrang Lake is a 10-minute walk, perfect for a stroll with a view of Seoraksan Mountain. 4. Everything you need, like **** and ***, is provided. 5. The host was easy to contact, and problems were resolved promptly. 6. Convenience stores, pharmacies, cafes, and restaurants are all within walking distance. 7. It's not right on the beach, so it's quiet even on weekends. 8. Hot water and air conditioning are good. □ Cons 1. Washing & Drying - I knew there was no dryer, but the drying rack was so small that I had to fold my shirts before hanging them out. - The location might be a factor, but even on sunny days, my laundry got damp and didn't dry well. The 3.5kg washing machine is full with three T-shirts and two pants, and only one large beach towel can be washed. I was even surprised when the washing machine tipped over during the spin cycle. 2. Blankets - It's summer, but all the blankets provided are winter-style, so I just put them away. - The bed pad is a little worn in the middle, so I wake up with fluff all over my body. However, these drawbacks are worth it, and I'd 100% return.

The location of the accommodation is about 10-15 minutes by car from the city center. It was great to be close to Jungang Market, Sokcho Beach, a large E-mart, and Daiso. 😊 Since I was staying for a long time, I often had to go to the large mart and Daiso. 🙈 For simple things, the apartment complex's supermarket and nearby convenience stores are also nearby. I should say the house feels like my own home. I was so happy to have come back after a comfortable two-week stay. 💕 The night view is also beautiful. I also recommend stopping by the lighthouse beach in front of the house on your way out for a walk.
