A place to sleep soundly, infused with the pure energy of Ssangmun Dobongsan Mountain.

I was hesitant at first since there were no reviews, so I booked tentatively. From the photos, it looked both neat and worn (?), but when I actually went inside, it felt somewhat comfortable, like borrowing a friend's place. I planned to rest, think alone, use the nearby neighborhood park for hiking, cook meals, and such, so I didn't want some Instagram-worthy accommodation that would be unnecessarily expensive and burdensome. I stayed here instead. There's no upper floor so it's quiet, there's a living room, and I liked that the bedroom is separate. It's a gas stove, not an induction cooktop, so I could grill squid jerky too, which was great. (Not really a secret...) The nearby restaurants are cheap too. The washing machine is old, but if you hang clothes on the drying rack, they dry well during the afternoon. There are lots of hangers and plenty of storage space. Oh, and there's an air fryer too, which was another plus ㅋㅋ I grilled a lot of chicken… If I had to pick downsides, it would be that it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator? And the shower pressure isn't that strong. That's about it, I think. Oh, and the freezer performance is a bit weak, but since I don't use the freezer, it wasn't really a problem for me. I think I'll come back next time I want to rest. Then I'll stay for about a month. Anyway, I highly recommend it overall~~^^

Finally, I got a good night's sleep. I live in an apartment, and recently the upstairs neighbors have been doing interior renovation work for so long that it's been noisy, so I've been looking for a place to stay for a while. I wanted to be near my neighborhood, but I didn't need an expensive accommodation for Instagram, so after searching for a long time... I found this place! Honestly, I didn't want to stay in a motel for a week. (It's not a livable place and there's no soundproofing anyway) But staying here, it's like what you call a nun's retreat? I rest well, sleep well, and eat well. The owner also resolves my questions in real-time, and they told me about the dumpling restaurant nearby and the restaurant in front of Deokdae, which I used frequently. Delivery also comes incredibly fast. I think I'll come back here soon. If you're looking for a comfortable place to rest without needing anything fancy, I recommend this place!
