Although it is early winter, I am posting a review of Gosung after visiting on a warm day. In the past, when I went to the east coast, I usually went to Gangneung or Yangyang. This time, I wanted to go somewhere a little different, so I searched through Sokcho and Gosung accommodations thoroughly and chose this accommodation. After living in Gangneung for a month, I wanted to travel a little more slowly and like a local, so I set that concept and I am very satisfied with the accommodation. There were many good points, but first of all, 1. Location: Gosung has a quiet and charming atmosphere, but it is also close to Sokcho, so it is good. You can get to Sokcho city in about 10-15 minutes by car from the accommodation. For those who are traveling by foot, there is a bus stop right in front of the accommodation, so if you take bus number 1 or 1-1, the driver will take you to Sokcho like the wind.ㅎㅎ I took a bus to tour Sokcho independent bookstores, and it took 18 minutes from the bus stop to Cheonghak Intersection (Sokcho Dong-A Bookstore). I want to enjoy a quiet Gosung? If you do, There is a quiet Cheonggan Beach right in front of the accommodation, Ayajin Beach and Cheonjin Beach that can be reached by foot. (The water at Ayajin Beach is really clear.) It was nice that I could quickly go to Munam, Gajin Beach, and Wanggok Village upstairs. It is also close to Seoraksan Mountain, so it is only 20 minutes by car to Hwaamsa Temple. 2. Amenities: I personally want to give it a high score because it has a dryer, and the bathroom and room are clean and tidy. I stayed comfortably. It was also nice that there were two independent rooms. There are two convenience stores near the accommodation, so I could buy urgent things there, and you can also see **Sushi restaurants where you can get seafood packaged from the veranda. 3. Healing Point: It is on the top floor, so the view is good. I was considering other accommodations in the same building, but I chose it because I liked the high place. You can directly see the sunrise from the living room and bed. When I stayed, the sun rose around 7 in the morning, so I saw it every day on a clear day. There are also coffee beans and a dripper, so if you pour coffee on the veranda tea table and sit down, this is the ocean view. If you want to see the ocean up close, just put on a hat and go to Nome* or Taesi* cafe in front of the accommodation. If you're bored, you can take a walk and go to another beach + pretty cafe. I stayed here and visited Goseong cafe + beach. I was happy just looking at the Goseong ocean, and I also had fun looking around Sokcho, which has a different atmosphere. And most of all, I communicated well with the host. He was very kind and took great care of the guests, including giving detailed information about nearby restaurants, cafes, and amenities before my stay. Even during my stay, he told me where the camping chair was because the weather was nice, and he even contacted me to order coffee beans. We ended up being warm together, so I think my trip to Goseong will remain in my memory for a long time. I came back after resting for almost ten days and happily recharged, and I will live hard with those memories.
