Amenities include a GS convenience store, fitness center, and golf practice range located in the building's basement. Within a 10-minute radius, there are hospitals, Korean medicine clinics, Paris Baguette, Baskin Robbins, Hanaro Mart, Haeseong Mart, Starbucks, Jungmun Post Office, Police Substation, and various other restaurants. Jungmun Convention Center and Seogwipo Sports Complex (including the swimming pool) are within walking distance. Located adjacent to the Jungmun Complex, you can utilize all the facilities within the complex. The Oil Market is right next to the building, and the Convention Center, Africa Museum, and Jusangjeolli Cliffs are within a 5-minute walk. Saekdal Beach, famous for surfing, is a 15-minute walk away. You can also walk to the Jeju Convention Center and Seogwipo Sports Complex. Restaurants near Ocean Cloud - This is entirely based on my personal taste, but I will only introduce places I have personally visited and eaten at. ^^ 1. Yoribakka This is an authentic Japanese-style izakaya that opens at 5 PM. The Japanese chef immigrated to Jeju because he wanted to surf, haha. Most restaurants and bars in Jeju tend to close early, but this place is open until 1 AM, and the food quality is generally excellent for the price. The biggest downside is the waiting time (last week, I went at 11 PM and there was a wait;;) and at the 5 PM opening time... I highly recommend visiting!! 2. Duke This is a surf bistro run by a surfer owner, and their Nasi Goreng and tacos are famously delicious. 3. Halla Noodles This is the closest meat noodle shop to Ocean Cloud and opens early. It is above average among Jeju meat noodle shops, and the portions are very generous. 4. Suduri Bomalkalguksu There are so many long wait times these days, so I recommend going early or at a very awkward time!! It is famous for its rich bomal broth!! 5. Oho Saewusi Jeju has many unique gimbap shops, and this is one of them. It is worth trying at least once!! 6. Keundonga vs. Sukseongdo Keundonga is within walking distance, while Sukseongdo is a bit further away. Since both are black pork restaurants, it might be good to compare them. 7. Gojipdol Ureok It is a trusted Jeju chain. I recommend visiting for lunch rather than dinner, and with two or more people. 8. Mongnyang Siktak It is a brand-new restaurant that opened recently. ^^ The pork cutlet and stir-fried bean sprouts are delicious. 9. Eunhee's Haejangguk, Ilpum Sundubu Eunhee's Haejangguk, one of Jeju's top three haejangguk restaurants, and Ilpum Sundubu, a local Jeju brand, are both located near Hanaro Mart. 10. A-Bout, opened last fall This is a place that offers an excellent breakfast with a salad or sandwich accompanied by morning coffee. For 4,500 won, you can choose between coffee and a sandwich or salad. 11. Ddungdaeji Jip in front of the Oil Market The owner works hard, and the taste is great for the price. The fresh ribs, in particular, suit my taste. It was good. I couldn't really tell the difference between black pork and five-layered pork belly~~^^ 12. Daegijeong Daegijeong, located next to the convention center, is a braised cutlassfish restaurant. You can really enjoy a hearty meal of braised cutlassfish for around 60,000 won for two people. If you order the rice cooked in a pot as well, it might be a bit overwhelming... It is a good idea to walk back to your accommodation after dinner to help with digestion. Excluding Sukseongdo, all the places I listed are within a 15-minute walk. ^^ Yeondon isn't far either, but based on my experience, I don't think it's worth standing in line, so I don't recommend it :) (It has now changed to online reservations.) Besides the places I mentioned, most restaurants in Jungmun are above average, so you should be happy no matter where you go. Have a wonderful trip at Ocean Cloud Sorane~~^^ Our accommodation is located right in front of Beritne-gil, and you can see the ocean while lying down in the room, so we are proud to be the best one-room apartment in Seogwipo-si, Jeju, where you can heal just by staying in the accommodation. There are three elevators in the building and an elevator for the disabled outside. There is a general parking lot and a machine parking lot in the basement, so you can park a total of 108 cars. There is a fire prevention room, management office, and gym in the basement.
