[Bukchon Port] 5 Seconds to the Sea_Trendy Countryside Vacation, Spacious Yard, Bonfire, Octopus Traps, Fishing Available

A countryside house I stayed at for the first time in my life I was half worried and half excited. I stayed in Jeju for a total of 2 weeks, the first week in a villa in Aewol, and the rest here. My first impression was honestly a bit disappointing. The yard felt unkempt, weeds growing profusely through cracks in the floor, the BBQ grill wasn't cleaned, and although the house has a yard, it was set up so you couldn't do anything in it. Of course, with temperatures approaching 35 degrees, it would have been difficult to do anything anyway, but I wish they had maintained it just a day or two before. And the inside of the house was cleaner than expected. Of course, it can't compare to accommodations in the city, but it felt like a lot of care had been put into various places. I was expecting bugs, but I didn't see any during the week I stayed. Thanks to thorough preparation, I could tolerate the shortcomings, but the rooms with no blackout curtains were difficult the entire week. The sunrise time was 5 AM. And the air conditioning system... the large room had one large AC unit that was sufficient to cover the living room and small room, but the large room was too cold and the small room where the child slept was too hot. So far I've written about the downsides, and the real advantage of this house is the atmosphere of the surrounding neighborhood. A quiet village, and the charm of Bukchon Port, true to its reputation as a diving mecca with quite a few young people, and we as a couple, after putting the child to sleep, often enjoyed swimming late at night. Being close to Hamdeok, delivery wasn't a problem, and it was very good for cycling. The sunset view from Dalma Restaurant at dusk was so breathtaking that it's unforgettable. For us as a couple who travel and camp every week, we've been to most places in Jeju, but if I were to live in Jeju, I'd want to live in Bukchon. I'd recommend this house at least once.

The Dokchae I chose for my Jeju Island vacation was the perfect choice. I liked the accommodation, the town was very quiet, and it was easy to get to anywhere in Gimnyeong, Hamdeok, and Jeju City via bus number 201. Because it's an old house, the ceiling is low, so I often hit my head on the light, and I have to bend down when washing, but everything else is perfect. I'll come back next summer too~

There were no reviews, so I was a bit anxious when I made the reservation, but I am leaving a review in case there are other people like me. 1. The public parking lot (free) is close by and always empty. 2. It was easy to drag the luggage to the front door of the house with a cart. 3. It is good for making a fire and watching fireworks (sparkler sticks) in the yard. I bought firewood from Hanaro Mart and made a fire for two days in a row. 4. The kitchen is clean and well-stocked with cooking utensils by type. 5. The trash can is next to the parking lot, so it was very close and convenient. 6. The surroundings are really quiet and secluded, so it was nice to feel the Jeju atmosphere. 7. The ceiling is low, but there are dangling lights. Since it is an old house that was renovated, I think it is natural that the ceiling is low, but they put a lot of thought into the lighting and installed pretty dangling lights, so I bumped into them quite often (ㅜㅜ). 8. The bathroom ceiling is slanted and low, so there are parts where your head touches it, but it's okay if you avoid it. 9. The bathroom sink, washing machine hose, etc. have water flowing into the drain in front of the toilet. When you use the sink, water flows onto the floor, which is a bit inconvenient. As you can see from the pictures, it's an old house, so there were some inconveniences, but there are many advantages, such as the village atmosphere, the coziness of the house, and the use of the yard, so I think I'll use it again next time. I'll rest well and go~~^^

I was worried because there weren't many reviews, but it feels like the port is within 5 seconds, and there is a clean house and parking lot at the same distance from the port, so it seems like a good place to stay for a month. (7 nights, 8 days) The red mailbox next to the main gate is pretty, and the yard inside the iron gate looks more cozy than it looks in the picture (the picture doesn't look like a house, but like an open space with large bushes). It's a charming 150-pyeong farmhouse. When you open the password and go in, the lights are a little low, but they put a lot of thought into it and it's a clean and pretty interior. **Please prepare a lot of **, ****, and detergent (there is some, but the amount is small, so use what you brought). The downside is that the windows don't seem to open (only the kitchen window seems to open), and when you shower, water flows onto the bathroom floor. This house has 90% advantages over minor disadvantages. The host responds quickly, and please text me in advance when you check in and out.
