Mung Stay: Staying Blankly # If You Just Want to Rest, Here # Dogs Allowed

The host was very kind and helpful, and even prepared a custom travel guide that was placed throughout the property, which was very useful when exploring the area. Since it was my first time visiting, I didn't know much about the surroundings, but I was able to find most of the information I needed through the guide. During my week-long stay, I needed to clean, and everything was available - a vacuum cleaner, a wet mop, a washing machine, and a drying rack. Each room had an air conditioner, so I was able to stay comfortably even on days when the temperature was close to 40 degrees. There's a nearby mart and the location is convenient, but most importantly, there's a valley just a 3-minute walk away (based on an adult male's pace). I visited Eolmgol and Hobaksso on the same day, but they were crowded and the water wasn't as cool, whereas the nearby valley was quiet like a private valley on a weekday and the water was much cooler. Thank you for letting me experience rural life at a relatively affordable price.

As someone who's been staying here for a week or a month for years, I was incredibly satisfied with this space! As soon as I opened the door, the tranquil atmosphere and charming stone walls made me think, "I could completely relax here!" ☺️ The host's sincerity was evident in every space, and I was absolutely delighted by the overall condition, cleanliness, atmosphere, subtle woody scent, and even the lighting! Being able to stay in this space for a week for the price of a typical two-night, three-day house was a huge plus! 🥹✨ In the morning, I woke up to the sound of birdsong, and when I stepped into the living room, warm sunlight streamed in through the large windows. The openness was breathtaking! It rained and clouded from the third day onward, but I brought some delicious takeout and cuddled up with my puppy while watching a movie. It was truly healing. 🌌🐾 The day before I returned, I had a simple tea time on the balcony during the sunset, and I was so grateful to have this opportunity. 😌 (I'm also really curious about the cozy Mongstay in the cold winter. 😚) Having lived in Seoul for over 10 years, I've been to many places just to relax, but the only place I've ever wanted to go back to is Mongstay in Miryang! (Seriously, I'm so happy!) I hope the host stays healthy and continues to create a wonderful space! I'll be back again! 😊☺️

I was looking for a place close to Daegu with good facilities and chose this place. It was an hour and 20 minutes away from the accommodation in a quiet village. The house was spacious, and there was a place to play in the water. There was a river nearby, but it was too hot and I was thirsty, so I played in the jikuji in the yard, and that was enough. It was so nice to come out and have a cool glass of beer with ice floating in it. There wasn't anything to do in particular, but I went for a walk around the neighborhood in the morning. There were mountains everywhere, so I looked here and there and saw all the greenery. It was nice to just stare blankly. I didn't have to think about anything. It was quiet, so it was a good place for me, who is tired of noise, and my husband. There were also accommodation facilities, so I didn't have to contact them separately. The neighbors I met on the walk were very friendly and greeted me, and the day before I came, someone who lives near the accommodation called me. They gave me a handful of dried pollack. I mixed it and ate it, and it was delicious. It's a quiet and blank place where I can just sit and relax. I ate well and rested well.^^ I just came from Pyochungsa Temple and Miryang, and it's close to my accommodation. It's hot in the summer, but it would be nice to look around when the weather cools down. We gave up after walking for 20 minutes because it was too hot, but we plan to finish it later when we have time. I highly recommend it to people like me who hate noise and want to rest without thinking about anything.~~

I spent seven days at Mung Stay during my long-awaited summer vacation. Despite the hot summer days, the cool air conditioning and the jacuzzi were perfect for the kids, making for a wonderful vacation. The duplex loft-style living space was a delight for the kids. The nearby stream, within walking distance, made catching minnows and eating watermelon a picturesque experience. Miryang boasts a variety of children's museums and an observatory, making it a great place for the kids to explore, and they also had a blast at the indoor playground. My family had a truly satisfying vacation. I'm also grateful to the owner for his kind and helpful answers to our questions.

I booked this place to get away from the busy area and find a quiet place to rest. It was a perfect place for my purpose. There was a bonfire space for barbecue and fireworks, and the house had many windows so the sunlight came in well. In particular, there was a porch so I could spend my time in that space feeling like I was camping. It was a place where I could fall asleep to the sound of owls at night. The owner responded quickly and the house was newly built so it was very clean. I will stay for a week in this good place that I would like to visit again.
