[Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do] A quiet and cozy country house with living rafters built in 1946

It's already been a month since we visited! The first day, the (extremely) cold wave started, so both the host and we were worried when we checked in ^^; The room was heated the day before, so it wasn't too cold. The accommodation was clean, as shown in the picture, and everything we needed was provided. The two of us have always dreamed of living in the countryside, and we went there in a hurry because we had time. I think the days that awakened the diligence and delicateness that we had forgotten for a moment in the slightly uncomfortable or too comfortable daily life of a country house were actually good. Since it wasn't a trip we chose because we saw the Buyeo region, It was a week that was always new to learn about the place little by little every day, and to enjoy the course that I found that day. I think those who like the small things and tranquility of a rural village will be satisfied. I was also grateful for the host's consideration and quick responses. In addition, there isn't much information about the Buyeo trip, but I'll share some good memories and courses below! [Near the accommodation] *The accommodation is quite inside, so you can hike Oknyeo Peak and take a walk around the neighborhood. After that, it is safe and convenient to drive out for a while. - Drive out for about 3 minutes and take a walk around the reservoir. - Buy ice cream and snacks at the cute Hanaro Mart at the intersection. (It is the smallest Hanaro Mart I have ever seen.) - Buy strawberries on the way to Hanaro Mart. (Buyeo strawberries are really sweet, please give me a lot!) - When I didn't feel like cooking, I had lunch at a restaurant that serves rice and side dishes across from Hanaro Mart. [Seocheon] *Since it is on the outskirts of Buyeo, Seocheon is closer than the city. - Have a cup of coffee at Cafe Tenuto and walk to 'Pangyo Time Stopped Village'. (When we went, they were remodeling the idle stores and running special exhibitions here and there. It's a great local project.) - At the end of 'Pangyo Time Stopped Village', there are Seocheon Food Center and cold noodle restaurants. We didn't go there, but it's a famous place! [Buyeo] - On the way to downtown, we had drip coffee at Cafe Kenya Shop 55 in Guryong-myeon. It's a space that was renovated from an old supermarket, so it really fits in with the neighborhood. It's like a movie itself that there's a cafe like this in a place like this.. The dog next door gave birth to puppies, so we spent the whole day playing with the puppies. Happy memories. - You should definitely visit downtown at least once. Gungnamji in winter was so cold, but Jeongnimsaji Museum and Buyeo National Museum are must-sees. We liked Jeongnimsaji better. - On a really cold evening, we had Sabi Naengmyeon and I Naengchi Naeng. Be sure to try the potato pancake. Be sure! Be sure! When we left, all the snow had melted and we saw a completely different scenery. I feel like I've come back after a short but long season. Host, how are you?

I've stayed at many different types of accommodations, but this was by far the best. 1. The owner was very friendly and easy to contact, so I had no issues. 2. The location was perfect for a quiet, rural retreat with my baby. The room was much more spacious and beautiful than the photos showed, making it feel like I was relaxing in a cozy cafe. The projector and speakers added a wonderful atmosphere. 3. I loved the view from the large kitchen window. It felt like I was in a cafe for breakfast and lunch, and in the evening, the beautiful lighting and yard view were perfect for a drink. I had such a wonderful time during my six-night, seven-day summer vacation that I'd love to return if I get the chance.

I had a wonderful 7 nights and 8 days of rest before leaving. It's exactly as pictured, a beautiful and cozy accommodation in a quiet rural village. It's a 20-30 minute drive from downtown Buyeo, but the scenic road makes for a great drive. The kitchen and laundry room are separate from the main house, but they're right in front. Considering the smells and noise, I actually prefer the separation. The garden is beautiful, but I regret not being able to use the yard during the heatwave. I'd love to visit again when the weather gets cooler. I highly recommend this accommodation for your trip to Buyeo, and Muryangsa Temple is not far from the accommodation, so it was a great experience.

The midsummer heatwave didn't allow us to fully enjoy the countryside, but the accommodation itself was wonderful. It was evident that every detail of the interior was meticulously thought out. With a robot vacuum cleaner, a waste disposal unit, and a dryer, our long-term stay was comfortable. Above all, I'm truly grateful for the host's kindness and consideration. While we were there, there was a lot of noise from the neighborhood's water pipe construction, but the host took care of it right away, ensuring a quiet stay. I'd love to visit again in the cool, breezy season, when the golden fields turn into golden fields.

I came here on a trip with my parents, and it snowed, so the atmosphere was good, and I got a warm room and the owner's warm heart~ It was a pleasant trip. It's a place I definitely want to come back to next time~

I booked 7 nights and 8 days and went there, and I liked it so much that I extended my stay for 2 nights and 3 days! The host was so kind, the accommodation was clean and quiet, and it was a very satisfying trip. There was nothing inconvenient, the house was so pretty, the bed was comfortable, and the fire pit in the yard was great! I would 100% visit again. I'll make good memories and go. 🥰
