"Workation" Apartment with a View of Nogodan Peak

This is an accommodation where I stayed for 2 months to recover after leaving my job. Surrounding Infrastructure: Since I'm a walker, it was important to have an environment where I could use public transportation or walk around. Within a 5-minute distance, there are Hanaro Mart, convenience stores, Tous les Jours, and Mokwol Bakery. The best part was having Seosicheon Stream and a swimming pool (with an indoor gym). Every morning, I enjoyed running along Seosicheon Stream or going to the swimming pool while looking at Nogodang. Also, Gurye downtown is formed in a straight line, so on market days I could walk about 15 minutes to see the market, and the library is about 15-20 minutes away, so I could easily get around with my own two feet. From Gurye Station, it takes about 15-20 minutes by taxi, and the fare is around 10,000 won. 2. Indoor Environment: The bedroom, living room, and kitchen are just right for 1-2 people to live comfortably. The bedding is fluffy, and thanks to the large wooden table in the kitchen, it's convenient to work. The view of Nogodang every morning is fantastic. There was a large TV, but I mainly listened to music or watched 4K nature videos. Since sunlight doesn't reach the living room, it was actually cool in summer. The apartment itself is old, so there is some living noise, but overall the atmosphere is quiet. The bathroom is also old, but there were no inconveniences in using it. Hot water comes out well and the water pressure is good. However, the sports field in front of the house sometimes hosts games or various events on weekends and weekdays. When it got too loud, I sometimes went to the library, but it's quiet when the door is closed. I always kept the door open anyway. The kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, plates, cups, etc., so there are no inconveniences. Towels: Since there are no towels, you need to bring your own towels. Host: When you check in, you can refer to a welcome guide carefully placed on the kitchen table that explains how to use the accommodation and the surrounding environment. The explanation is well done, so there wasn't much to ask about using the accommodation. Even when I occasionally asked questions, the host responded quickly, and since it was a long-term stay, they prepared extra blankets and such right away. It's a place I want to stay at again.

There is a path to nature in our country. That is Gurye. I visited Gurye during my school days 41 years ago. Since then, my longing for Gurye has continued. During all that time, preoccupied with making a living, I kept Gurye only in my heart, and finally found it after retirement. After a full 41 years. Before my visit, I felt both nervousness and excitement. However, it was unfounded worry. The warmth from 41 years ago was still there, unchanged. Above all, the warmest and most comforting place was the accommodation itself. It was an honor and a blessing to be able to stay at this accommodation for a week. There was nothing lacking. Thanks to the wonderful accommodation, I was able to truly feel and enjoy Gurye. I express my deep gratitude to the host for helping with rest and healing. The host's quick responses and kind service were truly impressive. I was able to stay comfortably in a clean apartment with a warm, homey atmosphere, and I could heal by drinking tea on the balcony overlooking Nogo Peak in a quiet environment. Within a 5-minute walk, there were hiking trails, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and restaurants, making public transportation access convenient, and the bus terminal was nearby, making travel very easy. The environment suitable for workation and the thoughtfully prepared facilities all pleased me. I definitely want to visit again if I get the chance.~^^

2주 동안 혼자만의 시간이 필요해서 선택한 구례. 걱정 반 기대 반 속에 방에 들어선 순간, 호스트님의 취향이 돋보이는 아기자기한 방 안의 풍경에 '잘 선택했다'는 안도감 속에 짐을 풀고 여기저기 돌아보니 모든 관광지나 마트, 구례구역, 터미널, 목월빵집, 5일 시장, 수영장 등이 너무 가깝고 주차장도 주차하기 쉬워 너무 좋았습니다. 호스트님의 자세한 숙소 사용법과 주변 환경 설명서 등이 잘 되어 있었고, ** 또한 필요한 것들을 잘 준비해 주셔서 걱정 없이 식사가 가능했습니다. 아침에는 맨발 걷기 산책길이 잘 되어 부지런히 걷고 관광지를 관광한 후, 오후에는 수영장과 헬스장을 2천 원만 내면 마음껏 즐길 수도 있답니다. 마지막 날인 27일에 화엄사 가든 페스티벌(1회차)이 있어서 실내체육관에 차를 대고 군에서 준비한 버스를 타고 구례의 여름을 만끽하고 왔습니다. 내년에도 다시 올 계획입니다. 다음 기회가 주어진다면 다시 한번 머물고 싶은 곳입니다. 호스트님의 친절 덕분에 구례가 더 좋아졌습니다. 감사합니다 ♡♡

I stayed in Gurye for a week and it was truly a wonderful time. Every dawn, I jogged while viewing Jirisan and the Seomjin River, and exercised by walking in the water at Icheon Swimming Pool. It was also great to be able to conveniently use the washing machine to dry my clothes after finishing my workout in the scenery overlooking Nogodang. When I moved in, I received kind guidance and was able to stay comfortably as if it were my own home. The Hanaro Mart right in front was open until 10 PM, making it convenient to purchase items. I also looked around nearby handicraft shops, and took a nap lying on a bean bag at Gurye Concert Hall, which the host recommended—there was no better rest than this. I definitely want to visit again next time.

My first attempt at a 6-night, 7-day trip. Thanks to the accommodation with a great view that I found with excitement and the kind host, I spent a truly comfortable and happy time and have returned. Leaving behind the enchanting sight of the cherry blossoms in full bloom, which felt like a gift, I have returned to my daily life, promising to come back next year. Hostor~!!! I'll come again next year~^^

The atmosphere of the house felt like the host's sensibility. It was beautiful and comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There were so many places to visit and delicious restaurants, and I fell in love with Gurye and Hadong. My husband and I went, and we definitely plan to return next spring. I came to the quiet Gurye for summer vacation and had a great rest. Actually, the fact that there's an indoor swimming pool right in front was attractive, and I was happy spending my days enjoying the view, swimming refreshingly in the pool, and spending the evening after coming back. I'd like to come back once more during a less hot season.

Thanks to the host's thoughtful consideration, my partner and I had a cozy stay in a clean and cozy accommodation. The location was perfect for casual trips to nearby restaurants. We recharged in peace and quiet.😁

When you open the door and come in, the spacious and long table and the scenery outside the window make your heart flutter. The arrangement of the props placed in every corner and the shapes you see make you imagine what they are intended to do. Looking at the stacked audio components, you wonder if they will work. ^ When you sit at the large table, you will start to scribble on books that catch your eye, and if you stare blankly out the window, you may worry about having to scribble on something. You may also want to go for a bike trek or walk along the visible Seosicheon River. When you visit the Gurye 5-day market and look around the city, Gurye catches your eye. Gurye becomes familiar. In Gurye in March... I visited Sansuyu Village, Cheoneunsa Temple, Hwaeomsa Temple, Ssangsanjae, and the Seomjin River Bamboo Forest Trail. What struck me the most was the cherry blossom tunnel I saw on my way there and back. The cherry blossom road on National Route 861 is nice, but I also like the 'Donghae Cherry Blossom Road'. It seems like I'm living well because I've become accustomed to the scenes that catch my eye throughout my stay. It's a little late, but... My mind was filled with words when I left my accommodation. I had a good week.
