After graduating from my PhD this year, I planned to spend two weeks alone in Gangwon-do to relax and write a book. This place satisfied both of these needs. Just as the host had hoped, it was comfortable and convenient, allowing me to experience the essence of a second home. Parking was incredibly convenient, and the proximity to the elevator made carrying luggage and grocery shopping a breeze. The interior was clean and well-equipped with all the essentials, and I was so grateful that they were there to take care of anything I needed. While I didn't get to meet the host in person, I could sense the meticulous care and attention to detail evident in the well-maintained space. The quiet, almost noiseless environment was perfect for relaxation and writing. Yeongjin Beach, just a short walk away, was perfect for a morning jog or stroll, and the ocean was so beautiful and cozy that I felt comfortable dipping my feet in the water. I enjoyed exploring various attractions recommended by the host, including Odaesan Sogeumgang Valley, Solhyang Arboretum, Huhyuam Temple, and Ojukheon. It was nice to be able to visit Kimama Ramen and Yeongjindon, both located in the shopping district of the accommodation, whenever I wanted. Having previously lived in Jeju for a month, the Gangneung 15-day stay felt too short... but personally, I enjoyed it even more. If I were to choose Gangneung again, I'd definitely return here with my family as a second home. Thank you, host. We had a great time. ^^

It was an incredibly moving 6 nights and 7 days! I can totally see why the reviews are so great. First, when you book, you receive a lengthy text message. If you read it carefully the morning of check-in, they'll send you everything you need to know, from the accommodations to nearby restaurants and information. I was impressed by their attention to detail, but they also said they had plenty of time on check-in day and allowed us to check in early, which was incredibly appreciated. We had quite a bit of time to spare because we had checked out of Songjeong and were heading to this accommodation, but they allowed us to check in early, which was so touching. As soon as we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the place and the staff. Furthermore, the place had everything you could need, so you could really just show up. The thoughtfulness was evident throughout. Yeongjin Beach was literally within walking distance, so one day we walked there. (It's really only a 3-minute walk...??!!) During peak season, it's difficult to drive to the beach and find parking, but having a beach within walking distance is truly a blessing! They even had water, juice, and ramen, which we took to the beach and enjoyed! There's a famous bakery, raw fish restaurant, and coffee shop right in front of the house, so you can stop by on foot. The generous checkout time really touched my heart... I was so satisfied that I'd definitely return to this place if I ever return to Gangwon-do again! ^.^~ I'll be back!

This was my second visit to see the sunrise, and the host took great care of me~ It was a very clean place, but he even took extra care of cleaning, and I was grateful and had a comfortable stay. ^^ I visited a few more restaurants during my first visit, and I recommend Dojebigol in Donghae, which is close to the highway.~~ My husband was sick, so we couldn't go much this trip, but there were so many pretty cafes and restaurants that my eyes and mouth were completely satisfied for a week. It's a really comfortable house. Above all, the host listens to our requests and solves them right away.~~ Yeongjin is in a great location, so it's a great route to go everywhere (mart, cafe, restaurants, the ocean, highway, etc.) and it's really nice to walk around. After I checked out, I bought some fresh cod and puffer fish at a low price in Jumunjin (you can't get such big, fresh fish in Gyeonggi-do) and I'm eating them at home, which is really delicious.~~ Waiting for my third visit~~~~^^

The accommodation truly lived up to its name, "Second House." It was my first time at Yeongjin Beach, and it was truly quiet and beautiful. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the accommodation was clean and cozy. The owner was especially wonderful. He provided us with fresh roses, welcome cookies, and drinks, and he even provided first aid kits and umbrellas, and he even texted us tips on nearby restaurants. I was so grateful. I'm planning to visit again with my husband before winter arrives. There are so many good restaurants I haven't been able to try them all. It's a comfortable and cozy place that I'd recommend to friends.

Parking was convenient, and it was quiet. With the balcony door slightly open, the only thing you could hear was the gentle sound of the waves. The unobstructed ocean view was also great. All you needed was a toothbrush, a change of clothes, and skin lotion. Everything was meticulously provided. It was cleaner than a hotel, and the bedding smelled wonderful. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, so it was fun to collect stamps. The best part was the desk and comfortable chair. If you're going on a workation, I can't think of a better option. I'll be back again!

I greet the morning with a view of the ocean through the large living room window, and in the evening, I read a book while gazing at the moonlight reflecting off the sea. A comfortable second home. I come down to Gangneung every three months to relax, and this place is truly comfortable and offers beautiful scenery. The owner's attention to detail is evident throughout the house. There's nothing missing: a reading desk, a power strip, a guidebook about Gangneung, and more. I'll be back again soon.

It was a fun and comfortable week for a 5-year-old, mom, and dad in a place that felt like our home. The place was well-equipped with various items, so there was no major inconvenience in using it, and we could buy the necessary items right away without difficulty. The host kindly answered any questions or information about the place, so it felt more comfortable and trustworthy~ It was easy to prepare simple meals, do laundry, and dry, so it really felt like our home :D The small seaside town was quiet, which was nice, and there were many things to see and experience just a short drive away, so it was a trip where we enjoyed a variety of things leisurely every day. (Seeing the nearby beaches, Gyeongpo Aquarium, Gyeongpo Lake, Jumunjin Tourist Cruise, Solhyang Arboretum, Anbandegi, boat fishing experience, Badabuchaegil, Hyuhyuam, etc.) The sea seen through the large window in the room, the sea that spreads out when you go outside, and the sea seen every time you drive around were all beautiful and beautiful to see every day. It was really nice to be able to play with my child because there was a quiet and calm Yeongjin Beach within a 5-minute walk. My child had a slight cold so I went to the pediatrician, and there was a pediatric hospital about 10 minutes away by car so I was able to see the doctor right away, which made me feel at ease. It was a trip where mom and dad were happy together seeing their child smiling happily♡♡♡
