The house is very clean and quiet, perfect for relaxation. It's truly romantic to have dinner while watching the sunset from the rooftop.^^

Living in Jeju at Kimnyeong Doldamjip... I was so, so happy!! From the moment I parked my car in front of the house and entered the stone wall alley, I felt a mixture of anticipation and comfort. Entering the yard, seeing the spacious yard surrounded by a stone wall, I thought, "Wow! This house is now ours!" The country vibe was palpable. Comfort and coziness! Opening the door and stepping inside, a large window on the veranda opposite the wide entrance opens into the cozy living room. I was worried it might be small because it's only a 1.5-room unit, but it truly felt like a private home! The space is perfect for two adults, and the interior is comfortable and understated. I'm the type of person who doesn't like cluttered interiors. Haha A spacious room, a clean kitchen, and an even cleaner bathroom! I'm the type of person who pays close attention to even the bottom of the sink's food waste strainer. Haha. If I don't clean that area, food stains and mold will grow. Wow!! I was so touched that they cleaned even that barely visible area so thoroughly! Even the windowsills were clean, so every time I opened them, the fresh air lifted my spirits every morning. Haha I didn't have to turn on the air conditioner, but I saw a review mentioning mold in the air conditioner, so I checked. It seemed like they'd cleaned it, which was reassuring. I was worried that sharing the yard with the main house would be inconvenient, but it wasn't at all. We didn't see each other much in the yard, and while our break times were different, I found myself wanting to take a walk along the stone wall path beyond the low gate. Haha. The alleyway outside the gate and the quiet neighborhood felt like an extension of the yard. It was such a comfortable and quiet neighborhood that the two- or three-minute walk to the beach felt like a leisurely stroll, just like enjoying the yard. That's why I rarely spent any time in the yard with the people living in the main house. During our stay, we enjoyed tea at the yard table, enjoying country nights by burning firewood, going up to the rooftop to watch the sunset, and taking daily walks to the Gimnyeong Beach, which is just a 2-3 minute walk from the front door. A further 5-10 minutes took us to Cheonggulmul Beach and Segial Beach. Strolling through the alleys and streets was truly a delightful way to enjoy autumn. You get the feeling of truly living in Jeju, don't you think? Gimnyeong has many great restaurants, so it was easy to grab a bite to eat in the neighborhood. [Woori Duri Restaurant] Braised Black Rock and Black Rock Set... highly recommended!! In short... Gimnyeong Stone Wall House is clean, cozy, and comfortable. It's right by the ocean, and it's located in a quiet village with a Jeju feel. It's the perfect place to enjoy Jeju for a month. I highly recommend it!!!! More than anything, the host put a lot of thought into our one-month stay, and it felt like we were being treated very well. Haha. We'd heard that there were a lot of things missing from the monthly rentals, so we had to go to Daiso to buy a lot of things, but we didn't need to buy anything major. Oh my, I was so impressed by the thoughtful preparations. The host even texted me to check if anything was a problem... I highly recommend Kimnyeong Dol Dam House, a place we were both 200% satisfied with!!!^^

I am going to live well in a clean place in a quiet town that I wanted.

During my two-week stay in Jeju, I spent a week in Gimnyeong. I loved the proximity to the accommodations and amenities. A large supermarket, franchise cafe, pharmacy, public health center, and beach were all nearby, which was nice. We shared a yard with the house next door, but we rarely ran into each other while exploring Jeju, so it didn't bother me too much. Since I live with my dog, I often take walks around the neighborhood, and of all the accommodations with grass in the area, this one had the cleanest lawn. The owner came by often, and it seemed like he regularly maintained the lawn and the accommodation. The only downside was that the air conditioner worked well, but it was so dirty inside that it wouldn't turn on even when it was hot. There was a lot of mold inside the air conditioner, as if the filter and interior had never been cleaned. Aside from that, everything else was great.
