Wolyeong Beach Jeju emotional old house

I had a great time for two weeks. The house was warm and comfortable, and I didn't have to worry about any inconveniences. Everything I needed was provided, so I didn't have to prepare anything special. I was able to purchase personal items at a nearby convenience store. There were many delicious restaurants and beautiful scenery nearby, making it easy to get around. The camellia trees in full bloom and the clear sky left me with many memories. The Dongbaek Arboretum was really nice, and I personally recommend the brunch at Dangdang, the Suseonhwa Restaurant, and Cafe Huu. If I have the chance, I'd love to come back in the warmer months or summer.

The house is located in a truly quiet and secluded rural village. Since it is a cactus village, the scenery is somewhat unique. The house is neat and has a charming atmosphere. It is well-equipped with almost everything you might need, and the owner promptly answered any additional inquiries and was very helpful. Thanks to you, I had a wonderful time for fifteen days.

As someone who spends 2-3 months a year on vacation in Jeju Island, I definitely recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the west of Jeju Island👍👍 -Location It is at the entrance of Wolyeong-ri Cactus Village. The famous seaside villages in the west are Hyeopjae, Geumneung, Panpo, and Gwakji, but Wolyeong is a place that only those who know about it go to. There aren't many stays in this village, so I stayed there for the first time this time, but I'll definitely come back in the summer! It's such a great location for traveling. It's in the middle of Panpo Port, a diving mecca, and Geumneung Beach, famous for its pretty beach, so you can go wherever you want depending on your mood that day. But what's even better is that there's a beach that's a 10-minute walk from this accommodation, and it's a real local beach that tourists don't know about. The ocean is so pretty. 🥹 Plus, they rent bicycles for free here, and since they're picnic bikes that are great for taking photos, I definitely rode them out when the weather was nice. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ There's also a Gamseong Vintage Shop (you know Jeju Island's famous vintage shops, right?) a 3-minute walk away, a CU convenience store that's open until midnight, and a Gamseong pocha in front of the port, so I didn't feel any inconvenience. There are murals all over the town, and you can think of this town as a place that has all the Jeju sensibilities, from cactus colonies to the beach. 🤣 -Space It was a place where you could feel the unique warmth of Jeju's old houses. It was a remodeled old place, but it was clean and cozy, and you could feel the Korean sentiment. The white-toned walls and mostly wooden furniture made it harmonious, so it felt warm and cozy. The ceiling and the threshold(?) were a little low, but that actually made it feel more comfortable. I slept well and was comfortable. -Provided items It was a place where you could easily live for a month because it had all the necessary items, including a washing machine, dryer, and kitchenware. Coffee drip set, tea set, wine glasses, soju glasses, etc., so it was all prepared so that you could cover everything regardless of your taste. There was a wooden deck in the backyard, and there were camping chairs, tables, and grills to enjoy there, but I passed on hammocks because they weren't my style. In the small living room, there were various books, an easel and pencils for drawing, and a Bluetooth speaker. In the room with the wooden floor, there was a beam projector and even a karaoke machine. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I wonder what's missing here. It felt like they were determined to satisfy all five senses with various objects, plants, full-length mirrors, and diffusers. This is my first time leaving a review like this, but I can express it in one word. 'Real'

I had a very comfortable stay with my two younger siblings for 9 nights and 10 days! Every day, I walked slowly along the Olle Trail course and went to the beach within 10 minutes. The ocean view from the cactus colony was amazing! Cafes, convenience stores, and restaurants were all within walking distance, so I was able to get away from the city and have a leisurely trip! The accommodation was very clean, even though it was an old house, and the scent from the bedding was so nice! The backyard was blocked by a stone wall, so it was great for us to have privacy! When I went, it was chilly in the evening, so I stayed inside the accommodation, but it would be great to grill meat in the backyard! Oh, and the owner and his wife took us to a nearby Korean buffet, and it was an unforgettable and delicious restaurant. Thank you so much!!^^ The room side and the kitchen side are uniquely separated, so it was nice for people resting in the room to rest comfortably and gather in the kitchen to chat and have a drink. In the room side with the mattress on the platform, we connected the beam and watched a comedy show on Coupang Play all night long. There was also a karaoke machine, but I couldn't try it, so I'm a little disappointed!ㅎㅎ And there are so many cute cats, and I miss them already after saying hello to them every dayㅠㅠ I'll definitely go back next time!! I had a great time living in Jeju while traveling to Jeju Hallim (west). 9 nights felt like one day, so short. Next time, I'll go a little longer, owner! I hope you prosper🫶

I wanted to stay at a Jeju old house once, so I made a reservation, and I was really satisfied. 👍 It's the pinnacle of Jeju-nessㅋ The white roof, blue sky, and perfect Jeju life. I only stayed for a week, but I really didn't want to goㅠㅠㅠㅠ The washing machine and dryer were all prepared, so there was nothing inconvenient about living there!!!! Even when the weather was bad, there was a karaoke room, a beam projector, and especially good books to read, so it was good emotionally! Good, good!! There were many things to do, so I never got bored👍 On a nice day, I rode a bike around the neighborhood, and Wolyeong Village was really, really pretty!!! It was my first time going to this neighborhood, but I think the west side is the best ㅋㅋㅋ The bus stop was right in front, so I also took a bus trip. Next time I come to Jeju Island, I'll definitely come back here! I could see Wolyeong Beach and Panpo Port every day. A week has passed so quickly ㅠㅠㅠ And I miss the cat family already because I've become attached to them. It seems like the cats are protecting our family. ㅎㅎ I'm leaving after living a happy life in Jeju 🤍

The moment you step into Wolyeong-ri, where my accommodation is located, you'll feel the warmth of the locals. And, as befitting a village famous for its cactus colonies, you'll find cactus colonies scattered throughout the stone walls. Take the alleyway and you'll find the white-roofed Jeju Damda house. Parking is available right in front of the accommodation, so you can unpack your luggage and quickly hop in the car without any hassle, even with Jeju's frequent rain showers. Stepping inside, you'll feel the warmth and friendliness of the owner. It's clean and tidy, and I didn't see a single bug during my week-long stay. The lovely cats welcomed me, and after a few days, they even came to visit me. It's well-ventilated and absorbs sunlight. When the morning and evening breezes blow, I love lying in the hammock in the backyard, gazing at the sky (privately protected by the stone walls), and just zoning out. I visited Jeju for the first time with my 9-year-old daughter for our 10th wedding anniversary, and it was truly healing. It had all the basic necessities, so I had no problems staying with my child for a week. There were great restaurants, convenience stores, a community center, and cafes nearby. I had a great rest and fun.

It was great because Wolyeong Port was just a 3-minute walk away! There was a deck in the backyard, so I felt like I was camping every day. Haha. I went fishing and playing in the water without any worries. It was a dreamlike time. The owner was so kind and considerate. I am going back to Jeju Island happily! It was more humid than I thought, but they had two air conditioners and a dehumidifier, so that was fortunate. Haha. Since Jeju Island has a lot of spiders and martens, I was surprised! Haha. Other than that, it was perfect. Highly recommended for those who want to rest quietly and play in the water without any worries!
