Clean independent house located in a quiet rural village #Pets allowed

I live on a high floor of an apartment building, but since the elevator was under renovation for a month, I couldn't walk up and down every day with my two 15-year-old senior dogs, so I started searching for a place to stay for a month. At first, I ambitiously looked into places like Jeju Island and Mt. Jiri, but I gave up on those because they were realistically too far and difficult. In the meantime, I remembered my sister and mom having stayed there for a week and raving about this accommodation. As a homebody, I booked it without much expectation, thinking, "How good can an accommodation be?" As a "country girl" from Seoul who rarely travels and has never lived outside the city, I left home to live in an unfamiliar place, clutching my pounding heart—whether it was fear or excitement, I don't know. Surprisingly, I adapted well, and as I spent each day breathing fresh air, looking at clear skies, and seeing the green mountains, the month flew by. I can say with certainty that my ability to adapt so well was entirely thanks to this great accommodation. 😊👍 First off, the yard visible from the window was so picturesque and beautiful that I marveled at it every single day. Watching the dogs freely nose-work and enjoy themselves there was pure happiness. 🐶😍 Whenever I stepped outside, there was an unobstructed view of fields and mountains. I took the dogs for walks around the neighborhood every day (when else would my dogs get to walk through paths between rice paddies? Haha), and there were plenty of places to go. The coffee at Bomnun, a local book cafe, tasted much better than most cafes, so I think I went there more often than the local residents. The residents were also kind and nice; they would greet me first whenever we ran into each other. I love warming myself in hot places, so the charcoal kiln was excellent. Sangdangsanseong Fortress was truly magnificent and the perfect place for healing, so I went there frequently for walks. There were so many great cafes and restaurants just a short drive away that I went out so much that I hardly cooked at home. I got recommendations from the owner, the locals, and even the manager of the Miwon-myeon Hanaro Mart, so I couldn't go wrong! Haha. The house is built with red clay and solid wood, and it is fully furnished with everything from appliances and bedding to dishes and bathroom supplies—I'm exaggerating a little, but it was actually better than my own home. It was so good that I seriously thought I should drastically lighten my luggage if I go again. If you need anything, the Miwon-myeon Hanaro Mart is huge, so you can just go there to buy it. Here's a tip: the pork here is amazing! Be sure to grill and try the scored pork belly and pork neck. The animal welfare free-range eggs are cheaper than in Seoul, but the fresh taste is incredible. There is absolutely no eggy smell, and the whites are bouncy like jelly, making them delicious even just fried. I benefited a lot from the fresh ingredients, which were more than enough for cooking home-cooked meals. In fact, on the last day, I bought pork and eggs instead of local souvenirs. 😅 To be honest, even though I had such a great time, I debated for days whether or not to write a review before finally leaving one. For some reason, I felt like it was getting too famous so I wouldn't be able to go back, and honestly, I even had the urge to keep such a great place a secret all to myself. ^^;; However, in the end, thanks to a place where I could truly feel the owner's sincerity, I had a wonderful stay. I really wanted to express my gratitude, so I am posting this review while reflecting on how narrow-minded I was for a moment. 😊👍

I couldn't make it through the whole week, but those were such happy days~ I came back after living for a week in 24 years. If it had snowed a little more, our Tori would have been more excited, but that's a little disappointing ㅋ The bathroom is heated so it's warm, and in the winter, if you have 30-40kg of firewood, it's nice to spend time in the separate room~ I have a pet dog, so I ate out once, but I cooked at home and came back after resting well. The dumplings from the local food, Lee Sung-rye, were so delicious that I bought some on my way here~ I brought side dishes to eat, but I think it would be good to buy them locally too. I'll visit again next time I have time~ I'm grateful that I was able to rest comfortably in such a nice place^^

This is my third stay, and I'll definitely come back again when I have the time. I had a happy and enjoyable time this visit as well. This time, I tried the backyard barbecue that I couldn't do last time, and I also roasted marshmallows over the fire. When I bring a lot of groceries, the sunroom with great sunlight in the grassy yard becomes an even better cafe than a large commercial cafe. Besides walking our dog and grocery shopping, we mostly stay at home, but time passed so quickly. On the way back, I realized I had lost my wallet and contacted the host. The host searched so hard for it that I was truly grateful. I was moved when I received my wallet by courier. Thank you once again. I already miss Cheongju.

This is the best LiveAnywhere accommodation I've ever stayed at. It had everything, making daily life incredibly convenient. The host was so kind that I was able to stay with peace of mind. The house was impeccably maintained, so I felt great from the moment I arrived, and I loved the modern yet warm interior. Being in a quiet rural village, it was perfect for resting quietly with the kids, and with the spacious yard and convenient parking, it was wonderful for a family trip. The library is right next door and there are many great restaurants nearby, so there was no inconvenience in daily life.

This is my fourth visit. I had such a wonderful week that I couldn't even feel the humidity of the rainy season! I don't usually write reviews or comments, but thanks to the thoughtfully maintained air conditioning, I was able to spend the week in a comfortable environment. I listened to the rain while having a barbecue, shared snacks with the cats that visit every day, and our dogs had a blast running around. Since we visit so often, it feels just like our own home, and most importantly, the owner's thoughtful care is the best!!! I'll visit again in the fall^^

This was an accommodation I had been eyeing for a long time, and it exceeded my expectations when I actually visited. Whether it was originally a residential home, the interior layout was much more practical and comfortable than a typical pension. Even on days when the temperature rose to 33 degrees, the house stayed cool, which was great. Both the dogs and family members kept saying how much they loved it. We promised to come back every year. Haha!

This is my third visit. I wasn't able to stay this time due to circumstances, but my parents said they really enjoyed it. My mom sent me a photo of the cute cat that visits every day. The owner is incredibly kind and so wonderful that I have nothing more to say. ㅎ~ I'll visit again in the fall^^^^
