This time when I went to Korea, I booked here for the first time. But because of false options, what should have been an enjoyable trip was ruined and I only felt stressed. Throughout the trip, I kept thinking about it and couldn't enjoy it properly. Although refunds were not possible, I wanted to leave, but my husband said I would only be doing a good thing for the host and that I could hope for that, so I had no choice but to stay. I checked in on Monday and checked out on Sunday. I left just one day early. I really feel like I was scammed. If the options were different, I would have canceled the booking on the first day of the contract when I received the first message, but the message was sent after 3 days of the contract, after the point when fees were incurred. It seems like there was malicious intent. If they didn't see the message, that's fine, but even if they did see it, they would just pocket the fees. It seems like a bad intention. How could people coming from abroad prepare bedding?

The host was so kind that I called and asked without any burden, and he granted all my requests. The house itself is literally for private use, so you can freely use the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor rooftops. After doing laundry, if you hang it on the rooftop, it will dry in 2-3 hours in these days. No need to worry even if you have a lot of laundry. You can watch movies and listen to music on the beam projector on the 1st floor, and the kitchen is spacious, so it is convenient to cook. There are 2 bathrooms, so it is convenient for each person to use. Parking was the biggest concern, but since it is a single-family house, there are many places to park near the house, so I didn't worry about parking. Even though I arrived late, I parked in front of the house. The location is less than 10 minutes by foot from Gangneung Central Market, so I walked for lunch and dinner, went to various restaurants, and had dessert. It is difficult to park at Central Market, but being able to walk there is a huge advantage. It is also convenient to get to Gyeongpo Lake by car, and it is convenient to tour nearby areas such as Yangyang. Have a great time and spend some leisurely time like a Gangneung resident.

Here's a tip for future guests! You can hang your laundry on the rooftop. It'll be sterilized, too. However, since there are no slippers, bring extra ones. When locking the rooftop door, you need to hold the doorknob up. And when the induction stove is on, press the power button, then press the number (not the picture), and then press P. And when locking the outside door, the owner will give you a password. Enter that, then lower the door, and a key will appear inside. You can lock it with that. However, it doesn't turn very well. And the sofa on the first floor folds out into a bed. That's all for tips. My experience staying here is that they've completely remodeled it, and it looks really nice. However, if you think the space is spacious, at 24 pyeong (approximately 80 square meters), it might feel cramped.

My family of four stayed at the Gangneung Yeohanga for two weeks, and we were all very satisfied with our stay. The facilities were clean and quiet, which was nice. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Gangneung!
