The natural environment is wonderful. While the natural beauty is wonderful, there are some challenges, like bugs and the distance to the city center. For children interested in nature, the variety of activities available is definitely a plus. The accommodations are in an older, rural setting, but the bathrooms are clean and the amenities are well-equipped.

This is a family that stayed at Hesed in Buyeon-dong for 9 nights and 10 days from late July to early August! Before making the reservation, I was really worried whether a couple who grew up in the city and a 4th grade daughter would be able to adapt well to the deep mountain village called the ‘first village under the sky.’ However, after making the reservation, I felt at ease thanks to the guidance and explanations of the kind and considerate host, and when I arrived at the accommodation, I was able to make unforgettable memories thanks to the neat touches everywhere! Top 5 things I liked! 1) Morning coffee facing the mountain right in front of the house : featuring crows, mountain birds, and cicadas 2) Barbecue and Aurora Borealis every night 3) Playing house and eating pancakes on the terrace 4) Enjoying Yangyang's hot places just 30 minutes away 5) The generous hospitality of the owners (The mini garden in the yard was nice, and the potatoes they gave us to try were delicious! *** Cooking utensils such as bowls, pots, and frying pans... Simple seasonings... 3 fans, dehumidifier, hot air blower, hair dryer, and other daily necessities!) Prepare these things in advance! 1) Insect prevention : Repellent, mosquito coils, long pants, socks, and sneakers are essential!!! 2) The mountain path is rough : Enter from Yangyang rather than Jingogae Road! 3) Things for kids to do : Freezing balloon ice, aurora powder, small blocks (deform blocks), soap bubbles, water balloons, etc. 4) Water play at Buyeon Valley and Yangyang Beach : Snorkeling, tubes, surfing are also possible! 5) When enjoying yard life : It was useful to prepare camping chairs and tables 6) Delivery is possible, but: they leave your items at a place 30 minutes away from Jingogae! I recommend that you prepare in advance! There were some inconveniences in the mountainous countryside but if you can endure just a little of those inconveniences you will be able to make great memories as if you were visiting your grandmother's house in the countryside!
