Phoenix Ski Resort and Water Park are just a minute away. You can use the amenities of Phoenix Hotel, including a convenience store. The Lee Hyo-seok Museum of Literature and Bongpyeong, the setting of the novel *When Buckwheat Flowers Bloom*, are nearby. You can easily travel to Odaesan Woljeongsa Temple, Daegwallyeong Pass (20 minutes), and the Gangneung coast (50 minutes). Near my accommodation are *Samsiseki* and Yujeong Restaurant, located in front of the Odaesan Woljeongsa Temple ticket office. This two-room newly built building is located in a clean area at 700m above sea level, where you can enjoy a comfortable night's sleep and wake up refreshed in the morning.
