<6th Region for a Week-long Stay: Haenam> Hello. We are the 'Incheon Family,' who stayed here for a week from late August to early September. It was great that the host provided detailed information about the accommodation even before we checked in, and responded quickly whenever we contacted them in between :) I stayed with my two children, a 6th grader and a 4th grader. Thanks to the dog and cat friends who visited every day, our days felt even more like a fairy tale. We would visit 2-3 tourist attractions a day, do some grocery shopping before sunset, and return to the accommodation to spend the afternoon. The ocean view from the accommodation was different every time, making it absolutely enchanting ✨️ I thought it might be helpful for those coming down with children, so I’m going to share information about the tourist attractions and amenities, focusing on the places I visited! The signature dish is ice cream wrapped in seaweed!! (30 mins) - Wando Fish Market (40 mins) ✅️ Tourist Attractions - Haenam Dinosaur Museum (50 mins) - Songho Beach (15 mins) - Daeheungsa Temple (40 mins) - Ttangkkeut Monorail / Ttangkkeut Tower / Observatory (20 mins) - Ttangkkeut Marine Natural History Museum (20 mins) - Filming location for the movie 'Hope': The neighborhood is so pretty! The deck walking path near Haewolru is also great!! (25 mins) - Uldolmok Skywalk / Myeongnyang Marine Cable Car / Usuyeong Tourist Area (50 mins) - Jindo Dog Theme Park (1 hour) - Gosan Yun Seon-do Exhibition Hall (35 mins) - Haenam Cinema (30 mins) ➡️ When the tide goes out at the harbor in front of the accommodation, playing in the mudflats is also great☺️ (You can collect various creatures such as crabs and shrimp) Thanks to the host's thoughtfulness, I had a truly wonderful week. I spent 6 days and 7 nights healing at Haenam's Land's End, a quiet seaside port [Hakga Port]. Since it's not a busy port, there are few people around and no nearby convenience facilities, but the kind host cleaned everything thoroughly, so my wife and I stayed comfortably in the 35-pyeong private house as if it were our own home. The Land's End Observatory, which takes about 15 minutes by car, has an amazing view when you ride the monorail up. I sent photos to my daughter, and from the 17th, she came by SRT train to Mokpo Station for a 2-day 3-night holiday, and after picking her up and visiting Sinan Purple Island, the next day we went to Haenam's Land's End Observatory, Dosol Rock, Daheungsa Temple, Gosan Yun Seon-do Historic Site, Wando Arboretum, Myungpum Abalone Palace, Myungsa 10-ri Beach, and on the last day, Haenam's Uldolmok Skywalk, Jindo Tower, Unrim Sanbangs, and Jindo restaurant [Supum Fishery] where we had natural sashimi set for 3 people... it was so delicious ^^ And at Jindo Sol Beach Cafe, my daughter and I made wonderful memories while having a cup of coffee. After rushing around so much, I thought about resting comfortably the next day, but wondering when I could make time to come again, I went to Gangjin and had lunch at Baekryeonsa Temple and a Korean set meal restaurant [Cheongsukgol Jongga House] with Kobe beef for 2 people, which was so delicious... The price is a bit high, but I highly recommend it!! Next, I took a walk around Gaudo Suspension Bridge, and today [21st], I had breakfast at Haenam's Somang Restaurant, visited Gangjin's Baegun-dong Garden, then moved to a nearby Wolchulsan view cafe [Samun-ro 98], ate delicious black sesame and red bean shaved ice, and just arrived home in Suwon after 4 hours and 30 minutes of driving. I highly recommend a happy trip to Jeollanam-do. ^^ It was so, so good ~~~

I stayed here as the first guest around last summer, and the wonderful lingering impression left such a lasting impression that I decided to return this April. The vibrant spectacle of spring made my heart flutter once again, and I felt that coming to Haenam was indeed the right decision. The quiet, peaceful, and tidy atmosphere of the house seems to be made by the host's sincerity and thoughtful consideration. The overall vibe is luxurious, and the kitchen appliances, laundry facilities, and clean bedding allowed me to fall asleep comfortably, which I really loved. There are so many tourist attractions in Haenam just a short drive away that it felt like a week flew by in no time... If you spend a day just gazing at the charming scenery of the fishing village through the floor-to-ceiling windows without a care in the world, it is truly beautiful; the sunset is a masterpiece, and the emotions I feel while rolling around on the floor allow me to reflect on a different version of myself. The cat, which only appears during meal times, is so cute when it acts affectionately to share food... I really had a comfortable and restful stay. It was also nice to be able to take care of my mother and show her some filial piety. After living a busy life, I was finally able to enjoy some leisure time. I liked this feeling so much that I booked another stay for next spring. Thanks to the kind host, I’ve come to love Haenam, haha. Now I’m even thinking about moving here. I had so much fun going out to the seashore to catch conch and snails, and I also enjoyed the aroma of mugwort soup, a spring remedy. I am infinitely grateful for the clean and comfortable stay that felt just like my own home. May you have joyful and happy days every day. Oh, by the way... I came down from Seoul and had a wonderful month-long stay in this fishing village at the southernmost tip of the Korean peninsula. Since retiring from public service, I have been traveling around the country for several years, living in places for a month at a time; however, this was the first place I found that offered such great atmosphere and value for money. I would like to summarize my impressions in a few points as follows: First, the host is incredibly kind and comes running immediately to resolve any requests I make. Second, it is very convenient to have four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Third, looking out from the living room is perfect for just zoning out. You can fully admire the ebb and flow of the tides right before your eyes. The sunset is an added bonus. Fourth, the rates are quite affordable. You cannot find accommodation of this size and with these facilities anywhere else in the country at this price. Fifth, it is within a distance where you can visit not only Haenam but also Wando, Jindo, Bogildo, Cheongsando, Mokpo, Jangheung, and Yeongam, all within just over an hour. In any case, I am leaving this place having fully healed and rejuvenated. Thank you, host~^^

This is a quiet and peaceful accommodation with a view of a small harbor. This was our fourth week-long stay after retirement as a couple, and we were deeply moved by the thoughtful preparation and the incredibly reasonable accommodation fee. During our stay, we leisurely visited Haenam, Gangjin, and Wando. It was even better that our 12-year-old pet dog was able to stay comfortably. We went to Songpyeong Beach every day to play and run. In rural areas, it's difficult to have a comfortable walk because of the territorial dogs around here^^ And there was also a friendly cat that visited us every day, like a dog-cat. The cat would quietly appear and peek into the house, so we made sure to feed it. Host, thank you for creating such wonderful memories, may you be blessed^^ (We brought non-woven fabric and cleaning cloths because of our pet dog, and they were very helpful)

It's a wonderful house where you can enjoy both mountain and sea views! I wake up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning, and when I step out onto the terrace, I can hear the sound of waves~ The house is well-located, and without any obstructing structures, you can see picture-perfect scenery. On rainy days, just staying in the house was so healing. The inside of the house was clean and spacious just like in the photos, and I could feel the host's care in making our stay comfortable~ We spent a happy month with the kids, roasting Haenam sweet potatoes over the remaining barbecue fire on the terrace. It's a shame that bookings are full until next year, but I'll try to visit again next time if I get the chance^^

This is a place where you can see a beautiful sunset. Thanks to the incredibly kind host, I had a wonderful time. I can still picture my husband's joyful face as he talked to his granddaughter, showing her the twinkling lights in the evening breeze in the yard. ^^ The host always responded quickly to even the smallest inquiries. The cat came every evening. We enjoyed exploring Wando and even Jindo's Durunsan Mountain and Daeheungsa Temple, and had a healing experience. I hope to visit again on a warm day. I was able to rest comfortably in a very clean and comfortable environment. The sunset view from the living room every day was beautiful - it's a true view gem. The delicate gaura flowers were also lovely. I think I'll miss this place.

It was nice to be able to make lasting memories as the host took care of us like family and felt the warmth of Namhae.^^
