I had a wonderfully comfortable stay for 6 weeks. The time spent in Jeju with my children became even more special thanks to this house. In the morning, I started my day listening to bird songs, and in the evening, I could see a sky full of stars just by looking up—every day felt like a vacation. My children were amazed every night, exclaiming "There are so many stars!" and I think those moments will stay with me for a long time. The house was kept clean and well-equipped with everything we needed, so we were able to spend a month without any inconvenience. Most importantly, I felt the host's thoughtful care throughout the house. On the last day, I was so busy organizing luggage and taking care of the children that I left my watch plugged into the charger. It must have been troublesome, but the host carefully sent it to me by courier, and I was truly grateful. Thanks to that kindness, I was able to return home with a warm heart even until the very end of my stay in Jeju. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories. If I visit Jeju again, this is definitely a house I want to stay at once more. I wish you good health for many years to come, and I hope many others will have happy times here just like our family did.

It's my 4th day living in Jeju. I'm staying at the pink-roofed house with my son, daughter-in-law, and my 70-day-old granddaughter. From the first moment, it feels clean and quiet, and it's wonderful because my dream of living a minimalist lifestyle seems to be realized here. Everything needed is prepared in just the right amount, and even though this is my first attempt at a month-long stay in an unfamiliar place, I wonder where this comfort comes from. When my son and daughter-in-law go for an early morning walk on the Sanbansan Olle Trail, I enjoy my morning coffee and savor the peaceful Jeju morning in the fresh air from the mandarin trees in the yard. The front, side, and back houses all have the characteristic Jeju stone walls and mandarin trees in a quiet rural village, and I'm truly very satisfied with the clean village that exudes an indescribable elegance. As soon as I arrived, the Hallabong in a pretty basket was delicious, and they prepared capsule coffee, so I drink it with the children every day. I love it so much that I want to stay for about a year instead of just a month. I was planning to write a review after the month-long stay, but since I loved it from the first moment, I'm leaving a review while I'm still here. ^^~

Living in Jeju was my number one bucket list item, and finding accommodation was the hardest part. After a long search, I found Gamsan House. With its stone walls, tangerine orchards, and Jeju-style atmosphere, it perfectly matched all the criteria I was looking for, so I was filled with excitement from the moment I first stepped inside. The kind host left a great impression, and I was deeply touched by the welcome Hallabong oranges placed on the table with such care. Despite being an old house, the well-organized furnishings in every corner showed the host's dedication, which warmed my heart. If it weren't for my next reservation, I would have loved to stay a few more days. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. I had a wonderful rest here. Thank you.

I felt the owner took great care of the place, and I had a wonderful week of rest and relaxation. I traveled with my wife and two high school-aged daughters, and all three women loved it. The capsule coffee they provided was a great way to wake up every morning. I'd love to visit again. ^^

It was like a dream✨

I'm glad I found the ideal accommodation I was looking for. When planning this trip, I considered a few things when looking for accommodation: 1. It had to be a standalone house, not a pension or apartment. I excluded pension-style accommodations that advertised themselves as standalone but were actually multiple units attached to each other. 2. It had to be a completely independent house, but with a sense of community. So, I avoided recently built residential complexes with rectangular lots, like rural housing complexes rather than traditional villages, as they might have a strong Jeju feel. 3. It had to have a yard and a space that guaranteed privacy. I hadn't really confirmed this before visiting, but staying here felt perfect. The yard is perfectly framed by a stone wall and a tangerine tree laden with oranges. While there are wooden furniture reminiscent of the olden days, it's filled with everything I need for a comfortable stay. Just walking along the quiet village streets was wonderful. Just sitting in the yard and reading a book was bliss. The taxi driver who lives next to the village hall takes all calls to this village, and if you're lucky, you might even hear stories from the village. A week felt too short. This place was so full of happiness. If you want to experience the life of Jeju Islanders, even for a moment, there's no better place than this. I think a month-long stay is the right place. I had a wonderful rest. I'm leaving after letting go of a lot and filling up on a lot.

I'm finally leaving a review now that the long holiday is over and I have some free time. I booked a 6-night, 7-day stay in mid-September. There weren't any reviews when I booked, so I hesitated for a few days. Since I was traveling to Jeju with my 7-year-old and 10-year-old daughters in third grade, my biggest concern was accommodations. However, since they've lived in apartments since they were born, I was happy to see them comfortable and free of nagging, which made me decide to book. I was always worried about noise, so I told them to "don't run" and "be quiet," so I wanted them to run around freely. I was constantly running around, so I didn't spend much time at home, haha. However, it was a healing experience that truly felt like living in Jeju. It was as clean as the photos, and the stay was wonderful. It had all the basics without any inconveniences. I slept soundly in the clean, fluffy bedding. Everything was meticulously prepared, allowing me to stay without any inconveniences. They even provided capsule coffee, so I could enjoy a 3-night, 4-day stay. My father, who was with me, was so happy with the coffee he brewed every morning, and even I, who doesn't drink coffee, was happy too. I love Jeju Island and visit two or three times a year, but this was my first two-week trip, so I booked with Live Anywhere. The host made my first stay at Live Anywhere such a memorable one.
