I had to stay for a month due to personal circumstances, and I found this place while searching near my daughter's workplace. After actually living here, it was truly wonderful. It was quiet yet had many great restaurants, convenient transportation, and most of all, I was deeply moved to be able to see the sunrise from the balcony, something I hadn't seen since New Year's. I loved the interior design that reflected the host's sensibility, and especially the setting of Anne of Green Gables that I watched as a child came alive here, making me feel like I had returned to those days. I was truly grateful for letting me experience the excitement of childhood again, and if the opportunity arises, this is a home I would definitely like to stay at again.

I stayed there for 3 weeks because I had a training session~~ I could walk to Gangmun Beach in 20 minutes, so I saw the sunrise 3 times~~There are many delicious restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, so it's good for walking, and the bus to the city center is right in front, so it was convenient~~And the healing atmosphere just by staying at home was the best~~I want to come back again if I have the chance~~^^♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ I'm sad to leave^^ I highly recommend Ann House^^

As I was living diligently, one day, I suddenly saw myself walking without even realizing that I was out of breath. I hated myself for only looking forward, so I wanted to look back, and I felt sorry for myself for only looking at the ground and walking, so I wanted to look at the sky. I wanted to show myself, who said I liked mountains and went over the high peaks of life, the ocean that was nice to just sit still. Fortunately and thankfully, the place I stayed was a place that guided me through the beautiful pine forest, following the invitation of the sunlight coming through the morning sea beyond the veranda, and the loud cheers of the Gangneung High School baseball team, to the ocean of Gangmun and Songjeong. Thanks to that, the month I spent in Gangneung was a time filled with the sound of crashing waves and the colorful ocean filled with blue skies. It was such a happy time. And it was even more meaningful because the place was Anne House, decorated with “Anne of Green Gables.” I thought of a line from Anne of Green Gables that I read as a child. "What time gives us is the power to see the same situation differently as we experience various things..." It's definitely the same Gangmun Beach, but seeing the different Gangmun Beach every day, Anne's words gradually became my own. My future lives won't change much, but I think that just by walking along the streets of Chodang-dong and wanting to live like a young person who enjoys the bitter and sweet tastes of life, like the soft but strong, sweet but bitter coffees of Chodang Rice Mill, Gallery Bobs, and Hwaetmaru, which are popular with many young people, I will be able to find happiness just like Anne. They say that a good house resembles its owner. And they say that a house contains its people. For some reason, the host and her family felt like a family full of happy smiles, confident hearts, love, and patience, just like Anne of Green Gables. It was nice to meet a house that resembled its owner and to be able to contain me for a while. And I will go back with strength. I would like to express my gratitude once again for the good accommodation and friendly hospitality that allowed me to have a bright time through this review. I hope that the owner of this place and everyone who passes through here will have a happy life like Anne of Green Gables.

I stayed at Anne House during my child's kindergarten vacation. It was a good location to go to Gangneung's beautiful beaches. There was a convenience store, pharmacy, and mart right next door, so it was really convenient. It was built, but the bathroom was remodeled, so it wasn't uncomfortable. The neighborhood itself was very quiet, relaxed, and warm. Ann House was especially comfortable from the first day, like a cozy maternal grandmother's house. You can see the ocean and St. John's Hotel through the living room window. The host's consideration stood out. A new shower filter, coffee capsules, a 4-person blanket and various pillows, a bathtub for the child's dishes, a curling book and colored pencils, emotional masking tape, and pretty lighting. The air conditioner was only in the living room, but since I spent most of my time there, it was cool during the unusually hot summer, and I was so grateful that they even accommodated my sudden requests. We made unforgettable memories at a reasonable price during the peak season. My child and I will probably never forget this summer in Gangneung for the rest of our lives:)

It's hard to find accommodation like this at this price in Gangneung~ The location of the accommodation is good, there are many delicious restaurants within walking distance, and the house condition and host's kindness are all excellent. Itsumoramen Gangneung Dakgangjeong Bongchang is really close to Asidangcho Gunammae Sundubu, and I went to Terrarosa Gyeongpo Lake branch every morning to have a cup of coffee while taking a walk. You can also see the distant sea from the house!! I want to go again~

I spent a month on a workation with Anne House in Gangneung. I had a long-distance relationship between Seoul and Gangneung, and went to Gangneung every weekend, but this was my first time living there, so it was a familiar yet new month. If there is a workation system next year, I want to go to Anne House again. The host was so kind, from making a reservation to checking in and settling the bill after checking out. The first thought I had when I checked in was, 'It's better than I thought.' It's an old apartment, but it was a clean space that didn't feel dirty at all, and there were no bugs when I visited in October. I think they remodeled the bathroom. Since I had to work from home due to the nature of the workation, I needed a workspace, and it was nice that there was a long table in the living room. (Because it's a tourist attraction, there aren't many accommodations with desks.) Since it's a space where actual residents live, there was no noise. There's a small mart right in front, and there's an E-Mart a little bit by car. As you told me before I checked in, there wasn't enough parking space, but it wasn't a big problem because it was just a short walk. While living for a month, I was able to visit restaurants and cafes that I usually couldn't go to because the lines were too long, and I enjoyed visiting them during odd times on weekdays. The weather in Gangneung in October was colder than I thought, so I turned on the boiler a lot and cooked meals sometimes. I used the dryer I had every time I did my laundry. The utility bills came to 100,000 won, including gas, electricity, water, and common management fees. It was such a happy month that I wanted to live in Gangneung. I hope I can use it again next year~!

The accommodation itself is an old apartment, but the interior was cutely renovated and comfortable to live in. The sunrise seen across Gangmun Beach in the morning was fantastic. The parking lot was a little inconvenient to use, but overall I was satisfied.
