A healing house in the forest with a beautiful garden

I stayed here with my husband and child for 9 days starting from the end of July. At first, I was worried about whether the accommodation would be comfortable for such a long stay, but in reality, it exceeded my expectations and was truly satisfying. Above all, the scenery surrounding the accommodation was absolutely beautiful. The hydrangeas that the owner carefully cultivated were truly lovely, and the well-maintained garden made me feel good every time I saw it. In particular, the waterfall view visible through the large windows was really impressive. Every morning when I woke up, I naturally sat at the table and gazed at the waterfall for a while—those moments were the most healing part of the trip. The interior of the accommodation was also very clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed. The kitchen dishes and cooking utensils were clean and sufficient, and the cleanliness was perfect. The Dyson vacuum was light and easy to use, and there were plenty of cleaning supplies like cloths, lint rollers, and mops, so we could stay clean throughout the 9 days. The bed and bedding were comfortable, so I slept soundly every night, and there were plenty of extra linens. The location was also excellent. Although it's a quiet village in the mountains, major tourist attractions like the town center, Cheongryeongpo, Gosigul Cave, and valleys are nearby, making it easy to plan our travel itinerary. We could also reach Jecheon, Danyang, and Jeongseon within about an hour, allowing us to explore various places. And the red bean bread, coffee, and red bean shaved ice were absolutely the best. On days the café was open, we visited every day, and it was so delicious that we didn't feel like going to other cafés. Most of all, what I remember most is the owner's warmth. She came out early every morning to tend the garden, asked where we were going, and gave us travel tips. She even gave us vegetables that a friend had given her, and she was always considerate about whether we had any inconveniences. I was truly grateful. While the beautiful scenery of Yeongwol was wonderful, the 9 days I spent with my family at this accommodation will be unforgettable for a long time. If I go to Yeongwol again, I would definitely stay here without hesitation. I truly rested well, ate well, and was greatly healed.

We visited during Family Month with our parents and our 7-year-old and 4-year-old daughters. The location was very accessible, being within 10 minutes from Yeongwol town center. Since Jecheon, Danyang, and Jeongseon were all nearby, it was great to stay in Yeongwol and explore the surrounding areas. Although the accommodation was on a hillside, it wasn't deep in the mountains, so it was nice to spend time quietly in nature. The first floor had a bread and coffee restaurant, which was perfect for having morning tea time every day. The two rooms were spacious, and the living room was also large, which was perfect for the children to run around. The shower room and kitchen were all spacious, so we stayed comfortably even with lots of luggage. Most of the items were new, so we used them as we unpacked them, and all the **** were provided without any shortage, allowing us to focus on resting. There was a small stream behind the accommodation, and since it wasn't deep, we played with the children catching tadpoles and enjoying the breeze. At night, there was little light around, so we could see the stars well. The accommodation condition, location, and price were all great, but the best part was the owner who took care of us thoughtfully. He kept asking if there was anything uncomfortable or lacking, and looked after us, so we could rest comfortably. Since it's a cool place, it's also great for a summer vacation. We plan to come back again next time we have a family trip. Highly recommended!

The host was very kind and welcoming, and the entire house was clean and well-organized, making for a pleasant stay. Located in the forest, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere really helped me unwind from daily fatigue. Parking is conveniently located right next to the house, and the view of the mountains and garden from the terrace was absolutely stunning. There's a cafe that opens only on weekends, and their red bean bread and coffee are delicious. The accommodation was a great base for visiting nearby areas like Jeongseon, Taebaek, Danyang, and Yeongju. It was truly a wonderful place for families to relax and enjoy quality time together.
