After finishing my 33-year career, I was planning a trip with my wife, and suddenly I remembered a month-long stay in Jeju Island. While browsing through related websites, I came across a red roof on a hill in Nansan-ri, Seongsan-eup. What really caught our attention was that First, it had two bedrooms and bathrooms in a 25-pyeong space (we had three visitors during our one-month stay, so we searched with a spacious space in mind). Second, the Google search results showed that the surrounding area was not a busy area, but rather a quiet, country-style atmosphere with an open view of the ocean. Third, our main travel destination was east of Hallasan (Seongsan, Jochon, Hamdeok, Gimnyeong, Namwon, Pyoseon, Songdang, etc.), so it was a good location. After signing the contract and arriving at the accommodation by boat from Wando Port, the owner couple warmly welcomed us, even though it was late, by helping us move our luggage. And after that, they also provided us with plenty of food such as tangerine juice, glutinous rice cakes, cabbage, onions, and green onions that they had grown and made themselves, and on the last week, they even prepared a delicious lunch and a barbecue party for us in the evening. We traveled to two or three places a day for a month in a quiet, clean, and cozy accommodation, and my wife and I were so satisfied that we didn't even realize how quickly the month passed. If we have another chance like this, we would like to visit again, even if the travel route is a bit far. And I will miss Choco (Jindo dog name) that we used to play with. Since getting married, we have been unable to travel often due to work, so we would like to thank you both for providing us with precious memories and comfortable accommodations for the trip we planned with great courage. The reason I chose this place was because I could see the ocean from the room, and I thought that waking up in the morning on a mountainside with fresher air would be better than on a humid beach. However, from the first day I arrived, this place gave me anticipation and excitement every day for a month. Every morning, I sat on the living room sofa and looked forward to what kind of sunrise I would see that day, and the view in front of the house while reading a book or eating on the terrace bench was an excitement that I never got tired of seeing every day. In addition, it was convenient to drive to the beautiful beaches on the east side of Jeju, and I especially enjoyed buying very fresh okdom, saury, tuna, and mackerel caught at the traditional 5-day market in Goseong and Pyoseon at a low price and cooking them deliciously. In particular, the owners also run a tangerine orchard, and from mid-November, they let me eat freshly picked tangerines for free every day, so I ate a lot of them, which was so delicious. The accommodation was well-heated, so when I turned on the boiler after going out, it got warm right away. However, Jeju's gas usage fee is said to be more expensive than the mainland, so if you are using it in the winter, please consider the heating cost. We paid the deposit of 200,000 won and paid the actual cost for the entire month's gas/electricity/water bill. I highly recommend this to those who want to take their time and have enough rest and meditation in a quiet environment rather than going around many tourist attractions. I am grateful to the owner couple who kindly welcomed me in a place that gave me such great memories.

After arriving on the first day, the view of the house made me want to try living in the countryside. The warm smile of the male owner was also the best. The leisure of a cup of coffee on the swing made me the best woman. The sunrise and sunset are fantastic. Dinner was always delicious while watching the sunset and the sea. The refreshing appearance of the female owner made the day even more refreshing...We grew vegetables in the garden, and the owner's meticulous skills made the house comfortable and easy to live in...The only regret is that it didn't dry well because it was the rainy season. It was a happy time of 14 nights and 15 days. If I have the chance, I would like to come next spring during the bracken fern season...
