However, if gas (heating, hot water) charges exceed 1 million KRW during the rental period, any amount exceeding 1 million KRW will be deducted from the security deposit. This does not apply to heating and showering, which are generally used to keep the room much warmer than a typical home 24 hours a day, so you do not need to worry.
