It was an experience to live in a wooden house featuring beautiful architecture and interiors that I had only seen online! There are framed windows throughout the house, offering the charm of admiring the scenery in every direction of the L-shaped structure. Enjoying a barbecue on the gravel in the yard while gazing at the stars in the night sky was also an unforgettable memory. There were two external factors that I particularly liked while staying at this house. The first is the coastal road. If you stroll from the yard toward the garlic field, you can reach the coastal road where you can see dolphins. It takes about 20 minutes on foot, so I recommend visiting on a day when you have plenty of time for a walk along the road, but it only takes 2 minutes by car! (It is also perfect as a running course!) Since it was a road where people traveled slowly and leisurely, I would often head back home along the road after finishing my schedule. If I saw a crowd of people or a parked car, I would stop and gaze at the sea in awe. (On my first visit, I witnessed an amazing pod of dolphins!) The second is the infrastructure. Although it wasn't within walking distance, the area wasn't very busy with traffic, so getting around was pleasant and unobstructed! There is a 'CU Seogwi Mureung Branch' just a 2-minute drive away, and I used to buy additional household items at the 'Daiso Seogwipo Moseulpo Branch,' which is an 8-minute drive away. I also did my grocery shopping at the 'Hanaro Mart Daejeong Nonghyup Branch,' which is a 10-minute drive away. The area seemed to be a residential complex near Moseulpo Port, and there were many restaurants nearby. (The 'Moseulpo Jjopjjakbyeo Guksu' was especially delicious.) Recycling could be done at the 'Mureung 1-ri Recycling Assistance Center' near the CU (a 2-minute drive away). There was a staff member present, and the facility was clean and well-maintained. A transportation card was required for food waste collection. I used my existing card (Cashbee), but if you don't have one, you can purchase one at a convenience store and top it up with a small amount. Whenever I needed anything, the host always responded promptly and kindly. Thanks to you, I was able to have a special two-week stay in Jeju Island!

The ultimate destination for travelers. When I first received the address after booking, I was a little worried because it seemed like the place was isolated. However, the moment I stepped inside, those worries vanished and turned into satisfaction. Perhaps because the host built the house to live in themselves, the storage spaces provided throughout and the well-organized layout made it incredibly convenient for a traveler to stay. The second floor was the favorite spot for my 6-year-old and 4-year-old siblings, and the windows scattered throughout were the reason I was happiest. From Hallasan Mountain, Sanbangsan Mountain, and Songaksan Mountain to the sea, every window was designed to capture a different view, making it feel like looking at a framed landscape. Just gazing out the window was truly wonderful. The house was equipped with high-quality appliances, including a refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, and water purifier, so I experienced no inconvenience during my stay. I am not sure if they left behind items they actually used, but everything needed for daily living was well-equipped, making it sufficient for a week-long stay. Above all, since I was traveling with children, it was very convenient that amenities specifically for kids were provided. In addition, there were items thoughtfully prepared throughout the property from the guest's perspective, allowing me to stay comfortably while feeling the host's consideration. Although it is not within walking distance, Hanaro Mart, a regular supermarket, and Daiso are nearby, making it convenient to buy necessary items. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the drainage was a bit inconvenient. Nevertheless, by paying a little attention to the tips the host shared in advance, I was able to stay without any major inconvenience. During my week-long stay, I could sense just how much care the hosts put into building, maintaining, and caring for this space. Even though I am just a traveler passing through briefly, I feel that I, too, will cherish this place and keep it in my heart for a long time. This is a place that filled my week in Jeju with pleasant feelings.

It's the perfect hideout for families of 3 or 4. At first, you might feel the neighborhood is quiet and unfamiliar, but as one day passes and then two, you'll fall in love with the charm of this neighborhood. It's a house that blends perfectly with the hot spots scattered throughout and the genuine charm of Jeju. I really loved having so much storage space. The items and appliances in the house are similar, and it's a place where you won't have much difficulty living in Jeju. The food section at Daejung Hanaro Mart truly made our Jeju living abundant. The aunties' cooking skills are amazing!!!! It feels like comforting yourself with home-cooked meals when you get tired of eating at tourist spots. The kids really loved the second floor. It's a place I want to visit again and keep to myself. ㅎㅎㅎ

We spent a comfortable 8 nights here and are now heading home. It's quiet overall. It was really nice spending time with our kids. The host is very kind. The meat restaurant the host recommended was so good that my kids called it the best meat of their lives. We could drive just a few minutes to a harbor and enjoyed watching all kinds of marine life to our heart's content. The Daejeong 5-day market was also great. On our last day, we were lucky enough to see dolphins too. It was a really great place to stay for a trip to the west side of Jeju. Just one small inconvenience: the water pressure in the toilet is weak, so that was a bit uncomfortable. We'll come back again~~

We created wonderful memories with our 9-month-old baby. Our child had a great time crawling freely on the second floor. It's such a quiet and warm neighborhood. We even saw dolphins, and there are plenty of cozy cafes nearby. The restaurant recommended by the owner was absolutely fantastic and deserves the highest praise. The house condition was excellent. Perfect in both aesthetics and practicality!!

I spent my daily life with my two children on the west side of Jeju at the Daejeong Dolphin House. We actually saw dolphins too! ㅎㅎ You were so incredibly kind, and even though you weren't on Jeju, you took care of us in such detail that it felt like you were right next door. The interior is charming, and the loft was perfect for my two children to play in. It was a great help for our happy Jeju trip!

It was so great! The interior is clean and cozy. The kids loved it so much ㅠㅠ If we do another two-week stay next time, we will definitely visit again 💜💜

The neighborhood is quiet with few people passing by, making it great for relaxation. Except for the inconvenience of poor bathroom drainage, the house is beautiful and the interior is cool, so we had a pleasant stay.
