2nd Floor, Phytoncide Forest Zone (Host Resides on 1st Floor)

For the kids' summer vacation, I tried a 15-day stay in Jeju for the first time. Since I was traveling with my 7th grader and 1st grader without their dad, I felt overwhelmed just finding a place to stay. I was worried about safety in a detached house, but I thought an apartment would make the kids feel stifled. That's how I found a house in a forest-rich area of Aewol where the hosts lived on the first floor and we had the second floor to ourselves. There was a completely independent entrance to the second floor on the right across the yard, so even though the hosts were there, I didn't feel uncomfortable; in fact, I felt a sense of security. The host couple were incredibly kind; if we needed anything, we didn't have to go downstairs, and they responded immediately if we asked via text. Since we were staying for 15 days, they packed side dishes, made gimbap for the kids, and even made Korean pancakes on the last day. The female owner's cooking skills were excellent; the kimchi was so delicious that I shamelessly asked for more. I was truly grateful. The interior of the second floor was neatly organized, just as shown in the photos. Since there were two rooms, my eldest had her own room, while my youngest and I shared one. The bed was spacious and the bedding was incredibly clean; although I brought my own duvet, I didn't use it because the linens were so high quality. They really did use hotel-standard bedding. The living room and kitchen weren't small either, so it was comfortable enough for 4 to 6 people to stay in. All cleaning supplies were provided, making it convenient to clean during a long stay. Being situated in a wooded area, the large windows in the living room and bedrooms allowed me to fully appreciate nature, such as the lush forest and the palm trees in the front yard. I felt safe knowing that the house wasn't isolated in the woods but had neighbors nearby, as it is set up like a townhouse. I am truly grateful to the two owners for making my first stay in Jeju so fulfilling.

I stayed for a week and am leaving this review after having a comfortable time thanks to the kind host. The hosts live on the first floor, so above all, it was safe and the response was quick. On the first day, the host said she had made kimchi and gave me freshly made delicious kimchi and kimbap, which I really enjoyed ^^ The environment was spacious and clean. For summer, the bedding was light and fluffy, prepared to invite comfortable sleep, so I slept well. Possibly because it's in a forest area, the freshness of the morning, the sound of birds... A sea view would be nice too, but staying in a forest like this with a kind host (though it's not completely in the mountains) seems like it would be nice ^^ Why don't you try experiencing it at least once ^^

During my trip with my father, I was able to have a more meaningful time because I found a good accommodation. Thanks to the comfortable and clean space, I was able to completely wash away the fatigue of the trip. Thanks to that, my father was also very satisfied and made good memories. I sincerely thank you for giving me a precious week. If I have another chance, I would definitely visit again. Since the accommodation is in Sansae, I could hear a lot of birdsong. The birdsong that wakes me up in the quiet morning is a truly beautiful melody. I felt my body and mind relaxing with the refreshing sounds of nature. The chirping of birds in nature was like beautiful music. I think I was able to start the day more refreshed thanks to the birdsong. It was so romantic to start the morning with the birdsong instead of an alarm. I jokingly told my father that I think I hear more birdsong at the accommodation than at Hallim Park! I was able to enjoy a barbecue time, and the fire pit was really cool! They grilled the meat themselves, and the smoky flavor was stronger because they used Jeju tangerine trees as firewood! It was the best barbecue I've ever had. I talked with the host and had a great time. It was a meaningful time because you gave me a lot of good advice. The accommodation condition was really good, and above all, I was grateful that the hosts were so kind and friendly! In addition, the host couple lived downstairs, so I could get help whenever I needed something. I'm happy that I could remember my trip with my father as a good trip. - It's not an ocean view, but the view from the living room is so beautiful it feels unreal. The garden, tended by the owners, is so beautiful that it really makes you feel like you're in Jeju. - At night, the trees are lit up, and the sound of birdsong and the waterfall in the landscape in the morning was a soothing experience for my family, tired of the noise of city life. - The owners live here, but they accommodated our shy nature, making our stay comfortable. The separate entrances to the property are also a nice touch. - The spacious living room and the fact that each room has its own air conditioner were also nice. It's cool to have the windows open in Jeju's windy climate, though. - Gwakji Beach and Aewol Cafe Street are within a 15-20 minute drive. Parking is conveniently available in front of the house. - The rooms are spacious, although there's only one extra bed. While there aren't any basic condiments or ingredients, the basic amenities, from a capsule coffee machine to a toaster, were comfortable. - I would highly recommend this place to others as it is the best value for money place for families with children to stay at, rather than a small but expensive hotel during the peak season of 7-8. I would definitely recommend this place again with a 10,000% intention to visit again.

*I wrote a lot because I had a lot of good memories, but it's all true and it was a great place☺️🌟 Because I had to move, I couldn't find a place to stay for more than a month, so I looked into short-term rentals in the metropolitan area, but they were too expensive. At first, my husband joked that I should look into Jeju Island, but I ended up living in Jeju for realㅎㅎ I went to Jeju and stayed there with my 26-year-old daughter without my husband. I didn't know that I would suddenly live in Jeju, which had been my dream, like this, but I quickly looked for accommodations, and the other accommodations I looked at had studios or 1.5 rooms, small refrigerators, 1-burner gas ranges, or induction stoves, which were not suitable for living with a baby, but this accommodation had a large living room with two rooms, a large refrigerator, a large L-shaped sink, a 3-burner induction stove, and a spacious bathroom. Since I was with a baby, I cooked for almost all three meals, and Hanaro Mart was only ten minutes away, so I cooked every time without any inconvenience. Since I went with a baby, I pushed the bed against the wall in one room, and the room was so spacious that I could spread a blanket on the floor and still have space left. Also, since the table in the living room was also pushed against the wall, the living room was really spacious, so I made enough space to play with the large round play mat I brought. There were two sofas, and I pushed the smaller one against the window, so the baby liked to go up there every day and look at the birds outside the window. I don’t think he’s ever seen birds this close. Haha. There was also a vacuum cleaner, so cleaning was convenient, and there were a lot of **** in the bathroom! I went with a baby, so I was afraid of a private house, so I looked for a place where the owners were together, and it was really secure. The flight was delayed a lot on the first day, so we arrived late in the evening. It seemed like the owner and his wife were having a meal, but they came out and moved almost all of our luggage to the second floor. ㅠㅠ I purposely didn't bring a carrier, so there were a lot of baskets, but they told me to just focus on the baby and moved all of it for me. They even made me a sandwich themselves because they were worried that I wouldn't be able to eat at the time. ㅠㅠ I was sorry and grateful. ㅠㅠ Because of the moving and living in Jeju, my condition wasn't good right after I finished unpacking, so I stayed home for a while, but the owner was really worried and kept bringing me side dishes and snacks. He brought them to me often after that, and they were always full of affection and so delicious. I was always touched and grateful for how affectionate and warm they were. And since I was going out with the baby, I mainly went to the feeding experience, Pororo Theme Park, and the beach. The closest ones were 3 minutes away, and the farthest ones were 30 minutes away. Most of the places took less than 20 minutes. So I think I went to all the western animal feeding experiences. Also, the owners were considerate and allowed families to come in for a bit, and when they did, they seemed to welcome them even more than I did. They were really worried and concerned because I was the only one with the baby. ㅜㅜ Oh, I was worried about the baby being on the second floor, so I got permission to install a safety gate in advance and installed it. Thanks to that, I felt at ease. There were a lot of large windows in the house, so sunlight came in a lot and when I opened them, the wind blew really hard. I think I heard all the birds singing. It felt so good to be away from the city and in nature. There was no place in the yard that the owners didn't touch, and they really took good care of it. In the living room and bedroom, you can see the large palm trees that the owner planted himself. It was nice because it really made me realize that this was Jeju Island. When I arrived, the hydrangeas were in full bloom, so there was a hydrangea field on the itinerary. After seeing the yard, I didn't go see the hydrangeas separately, but just took pictures and enjoyed them. They were really pretty. I want to upload the pictures. ㅜㅜ When I was washing dishes at the sink in the evening, I could see the pretty sunset behind the lush trees. Then, I was happy and thought, "Oh, right, this is Aewol in the west." There were more tourist attractions than I thought within 10 minutes of the accommodation, which was nice. I went to the airport quite often to pick up and drop off my family, but it was only 30 minutes away, so it wasn't too much of a burden. There were a lot of places to eat near Handam Beach, which was nice, and it was nice to take a quick walk along the coast with the baby. Aewol Port, where you can eat fresh raw fish, is also 10 minutes away. I ran the washing machine every day without fail, and the baby took a bath and played in the water with me every day, so I used a lot of water, cooked three meals a day, and turned on the boiler twice because I was sick. Later, due to heavy rain and heat waves, I didn't know what to do, and I turned on the air conditioner all the time, so I thought the utility bill would be huge, but I was surprised because it didn't come out at all. They paid the bill right away on the day I checked out. It was the rainy season, so I couldn't go out on days when it rained a lot, but the inside of the accommodation was spacious and nice, so when it rained, I could enjoy the rain and not feel stuffy. Oh, we also saw a double rainbow at the accommodation! I'd like to show you a picture if I could!! My baby saw her first rainbow in her life. I'm not good at driving, so I always rushed back to the accommodation before the sun set, so I've never seen the night sky outside. But on the last three days, my husband came down, had dinner outside, and on the way back to the accommodation for the first and last time, I looked at the night sky in the yard. Even though the lights were dim, there were a lot of stars, and the Big Dipper was right above the accommodation!! I'm also sad that I can't show you this pictureㅜㅜ It was a shame that I couldn't have a barbecue party with the owners because it was raining heavily and I was alone with the baby, but the owner felt bad that he couldn't prepare a meal for me, so he sent me a box of tangerines. The owner is really kind and warmㅠㅠㅠㅠ This is the first time I've had such delicious tangerines. I spent a dreamlike 40 nights in a wonderful place, receiving warm consideration. If I get a chance to live in Jeju again, I definitely want to visit again!!

My family stayed for two weeks and then left for another place, but I wish I had stayed for a month! The owner couple was so cheerful and nice^^ We had a barbecue together on the day we checked in, and they gave us Jeju travel information and took great care of our kids, so we received a lot of consideration during our stay. The location of the place is Aewol, so it was great for going around the west! There weren't any marts or convenience stores right around the corner, but they were a short drive away. The place was also clean and well-maintained overall. Above all, the yard was spacious and well-maintained, so I was amazed every morning^^ I took a lot of pictures, but I regret not being able to upload themㅠㅠ And the utility bills were neatly organized on the day we checked out. Maybe it's because we stayed for two weeks in June, but the bills were lower than we expected(?) Maybe it's because we go out with the kids all the time~ ㅎㅎ If I come to Jeju again, I want to stay here^^ Stay healthy, owner!!

I really wanted to feel Jeju Island properly after a few years, so I was looking for a place to stay, and when I saw Jeju Aewol Forest, I made a reservation right away. As soon as I got there, I saw the natural scenery, and the owner kept the room clean, so it was great. I stayed alone for a week, and I slept very well, and most of all, it was really fun to have a glass of soju with the owner!!! Thank you, owner!!

Hello~^^ We went to Jeju Island for a month.. At first, when we were deciding on a place to stay, we were really worried about whether we should go alone,,,but we decided on our current place because we thought it would be safer and we could get help if the owner was there~^^ When we arrived at the place, the owner, who was so nice, greeted us^^ We had a boy, so we were really worried about him running around, but the owner said he could run around as much as he wanted, and we were really thankful^^ The place was also clean and well-organized~The dishes were well-organized, and the bedding was clean and spacious~ I liked that I could see the sparrows up close when I sat in the living room~It was my first time seeing them up close^^;;My child was so curious that he observed them every day^^ It was also really fun to walk around the place^^ There is a Hanaro Mart and Daiso nearby~ There are also many delicious restaurants nearby^^ If I have another chance, I want to go again^^ I spent a month comfortably and at ease♡

I came back from Aewol Jeju Forest for two weeks at the beginning of this month, and it's already been two weeks since I came back. It feels like I was there the day before yesterday, but time has passed so quickly.ㅜ The owner and his wife live on the first floor of the detached house, and we lived on the second floor through a separate entrance. Since it was the first time in a while that I had free time, I thought about where to go on the day and went, so I had a really relaxed time. Also, I was grateful that the owner and his wife were so nice to my child even when he was annoying. We grilled barbecue, oysters, shrimp, marshmallows, sweet potatoes, chestnuts, and fish cake soup together on the brazier, and it was really delicious. Thanks to the owner and his wife, I made a lot of good memories. I definitely want to stay here again next time I go to Jeju Island.^^
