About this place
Jeju's Old Downtown is home to the ancient cultural heritage of Gwandukjeong and an elementary school over 100 years old, yet it is also the newest area in Jeju. There is Goheung Restaurant, where the food feels more like home cooking than eating at home, and within a five-minute walk is Yinggai, which serves authentic Cantonese cuisine. There is also Sushi Tomodachi, where you can enjoy sushi with the best value for money, although the "open run" (rushing in to eat) can be a problem. There are so many famous cafes nearby that it is difficult to describe them all one by one. There is a joy in discovering the tranquil Old Downtown of Jeju.
