A private detached house on a tranquil hill embracing a private bamboo forest (countryside getaway, workcation)

A place that will make you smile for a long time, even after you return to your daily life. Both the exterior and interior of the accommodation are filled with the charm of a cozy country house. It was also wonderful to be situated on a hill, allowing for a wide-open view. The yard is equipped with barbecue facilities and a space for bonfire gazing. We grilled meat and sausages to enjoy a delicious meal, and spent a leisurely evening gathering fallen leaves to gaze at the fire. It was a simple happiness that is hard to find in the city. In addition to the many Baekje heritage sites in Buyeo-eup, such as Jeongnimsa Temple Site, Gungnamji Pond, Busosanseong Fortress, and Nakwaam Rock, the Garimseong Love Tree, located just a 5-minute drive away, is another undeniable attraction. We took photos with the magnificent tree as a backdrop and were able to fully heal while gazing at the beautiful scenery unfolding before our eyes. The owners of the nearby supermarket and seed hotteok shop were also very kind. At the Four Seasons Restaurant, watching local residents greet each other warmly while enjoying a meal allowed me to feel the unique warmth and affection of the countryside. And what impressed me most was the host's warm heart in asking us to provide food and water for the stray cats that visit every evening. Seeing such attentive care for even the smallest of lives, I felt I understood where the warm atmosphere of this place comes from. Although it was only a short week, the time spent here was more than just a trip; it was a precious time to rest my body and mind while experiencing the charm of country life. Now that I am returning to my busy daily life and workplace, I think I will find myself smiling whenever I suddenly think of my time here. Recalling the leisure and warm memories of that time, I feel I can find the strength to keep going. I would like to recommend this place to anyone seeking comfortable rest, beautiful scenery, and the warmth of human connection. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories. If I have the chance, I definitely want to visit again.

It was exactly like the photos. The place is well-maintained, really clean and beautiful. Since it was converted from a farmhouse, it has a nice hanok-style charm, and everything is well-equipped for comfortable living without any inconvenience. My stay was truly comfortable and wonderful. The hair dryer is brand new, so I was startled by how strong the wind was when drying my hair. Towels, tissues, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided. I thought there wouldn't be a TV, but the host provided a beam projector, so I watched Netflix on it. Each room has an air conditioner, so even though it was 37 degrees outside, I was able to stay cool indoors. The host responded immediately to any questions, and I had to adjust the reservation date due to personal circumstances, but they were so considerate that I was very grateful. If you're traveling to Buyeo, I'd like to recommend this accommodation. When I was having trouble finding the way up, the whole neighborhood helped guide me—such a warm community. Being on a hilltop, the view is great and it's quiet, so I got proper healing and relaxation. About 20-30 minutes by car away is the National Buyeo Museum, and I highly recommend watching the musical 'Hwangsanbeol.' It was so moving and excellent that I felt sorry it was free admission. After visiting Gungnangji and eating lotus leaf rice, it turned out to be a very fulfilling trip~~ When the weather gets cooler, I think I'd like to visit again.

To be honest, I didn't know much about Buyeo and started the contract just by looking at photos of the house, but I'm really satisfied♥️ It was a house where I could experience both the quiet and serene charm of a countryside home and the convenience of modern amenities. For someone who has only lived in apartments, the pink-tinted evening sky, the cat that visits every night for meals, and the calm sounds of insects were all healing itself. It was nice that there were more things to see and places to go nearby than I expected. I hiked Gyeryongsan and Chilgapsan, and Seunghungsan with the Love Tree right behind the house is also great for light trekking. I also got to experience the trendy side of Buyeo thanks to the Jeongneungsa Temple Media Art exhibition that was happening at the time.

여름에 태어난 딸 아이의 일곱번째 생일 겸 여름방학을 맞아 부여로의 여행을 계획하였습니다. 인스타를 통해 호스트께서 손수 매만지고 살펴온 곳임을 알기에 여행을 준비하면서 부터 숙소에 대한 기대가 가득했습니다. 시골집 특성상 낯선 부분들에서 오는 불편함은 있었지만 이 마저도 기분 좋은 기회였습니다. 일주일 내내 두 아이에게 뛰지 말아라 목소리 낮춰라는 잔소리 한마디 없이 보낼 수 있었던 시간이, 두 아이에게는 가장 큰 선물이 되어주었답니다. 늘상 하던 잔소리가 줄어드니, 저희 부부 역시 온전히 휴가를 보낼 수 있었습니다. 호스트님, 감사합니다
