About this place

This is a wooden house where the beauty of nature, communion with nature, and the importance of family, which I felt while traveling through the border regions of the Alps with my husband, a wood architect, and my two children aged 5 and 7—who are very interested in eco-friendly food—are infused throughout the home.

Sogil-ri in Aewol-eup is a place familiar to many thanks to Lee Hyori. It is a place where Jeju's pristine nature remains largely intact. Situated at an elevation of approximately 300 meters, it offers walking trails and scenic drive courses overlooking the ocean. While beautiful during the day, the sight of fishing lights illuminating the sea is a spectacular scene not to be missed. - Located adjacent to Pyeonghwa-ro, it offers convenient access to Seogwipo, Jungmun, Andeok, Moseulpo, and Daejeong. - It also boasts excellent accessibility to the sea, including Gwakji Beach, Hallim Beach, Hyeopjae Beach, Geumneung Beach, and Iho Beach (the layout allows you to go straight into the bathhouse upon returning home after swimming).
