In front of Mukho Station. Comfortable detached house

It is very conveniently located right across the crosswalk from Mukho Station. The road in front of the house is a two-lane road with many small cafes and souvenir shops, creating a bright and lively atmosphere rather than a secluded one. Newly remodeled, the house is very clean, and the stylish, understated interior creates a comfortable and pleasant space. As a three-room unit fully equipped, it seems perfect for small groups of friends or family to stay, travel, cook meals, and enjoy ample personal time. I spent a wonderful time reading, listening to music, and drinking coffee in a small space equipped with a subwoofer speaker. The selection of books also reflects the owner's discerning taste. A little tip! There is a neighborhood bookstore called "Janjanhage" by Chae Ji-hyung, the author of the travel essay "Hello, Travel," located nearby. Visiting after reading the book made the experience twice as moving. A little tip two: Chodang Jjolmyeon Sundubu always has long lines, with a minimum wait of 40 minutes! It is only 30 seconds away; you can make a reservation via Catch Table, wait at the accommodation, and head over when it is your turn. There are many famous restaurants, souvenir shops, and local bookstores within a 5-minute walk, and you can also walk to the traditional market, Mukho Port Fisheries Center, and Dojjaebigol. I highly recommend the Pencil Museum right in front of the house and the Dong-o Seaside Book Village (where you can read comic books). Taking Mukho Station to Gangneung, Samcheok, and Yeongdeok for a day trip is also excellent. On nice days when you want to take a walk, you can stroll to the trendy Eodal Junction, stopping for a cup of matcha at Miyuki Matcha along the way, or enjoy a walk in the opposite direction to Hapyeong Beach (where the train passes right by the sea). I also visited the famous Samcheok Lightning Market by taking the train from Mukho Station to Samcheok Station, and the train timing was perfect. Even I, who have stayed in many places for a week over the years, found that the week flew by so quickly that I decided I should try a month-long stay next time. It is truly a wonderful place.

Accommodation: First of all, I loved that the photos matched the actual condition of the place! It had great aesthetic appeal, was spacious, and very clean. Also, most of the small necessities for daily living were provided, which was convenient (towels, fabric fragrance, vacuum cleaner, dishes, utensils, etc.). The refrigerator was filled with water, which I appreciated 🥹 Location: Mukho has somewhat infrequent bus service, but since it's located near Mukho Station where buses are frequent, it was great for those without a car! It was convenient that the accommodation is just across the street from Mukho Station. There are many small shops and cafes clustered near the station, making it easy to explore, and it's also within walking distance to Eodal Beach!
