About this place

Ruhe means ‘rest’ or ‘peace.’ Located near Mt. Seorak and the valley, this quiet detached house is the perfect place to relax comfortably after hiking or trekking. In autumn, enjoy the fall foliage of Mt. Seorak and Jujegol, and after your trip, enjoy the Osaek Hot Springs. You can experience the natural beauty of the valley right outside your door, and a drive will take you to the sea in Yangyang. This home is well-suited for those seeking mountains, valleys, hot springs, and complete rest rather than a luxurious accommodation.

You can conveniently access Osaek Hot Springs, Osaek Mineral Water, and the entrance to Jujegol by car, and there are restaurants nearby serving dishes such as wild vegetable bibimbap. It is easy to travel towards Yangyang, Sokcho, and Goseong, and Nakseon Beach is also about a 20-minute drive away. In autumn, enjoy the beautiful fall foliage of Jujegol Valley and Osaek; if you enjoy hiking, try the Osaek Course at Daecheongbong Peak in Mt. Seorak. After your hike, you can relieve your fatigue at Osaek Hot Springs. You can experience nature throughout the four seasons in the valley right in front of the house, and it is a perfect location to spend one day in Mt. Seorak and another in the East Sea.
