Our family of four with elementary and middle school children had a truly comfortable stay, just like home. We could walk to Jungang Market in 10 minutes, with the kids walking, so we didn't have to worry about parking. There were also some great restaurants nearby, so we were able to grab a bite to eat. The Yeongrangho bike ride is worth a try, but it's a bit too much for two or four people, so I recommend a solo bike or a fully automatic bike. The overall floor space might seem small, but the living space is divided by a double-walled roof, and the second floor has plenty of windows, so it didn't feel cramped. This might be especially true during the day when the kids aren't home, but Goseong, Yangyang, and Gangneung are within 20 minutes to an hour, so if you're planning a trip to Sokcho, I highly recommend it. The downsides are the low ceiling in the bathroom, and the stairs to the second floor are narrow and a bit steep. However, we got used to it, and aside from the first few days, it didn't bother us at all. I brought all the detergent, thinking they wouldn't charge, but ***************** I think you can pack less if you don't need anything special. ********* It said "purchase separately," so I even considered buying trash bags, but I still had plenty left over. The washer has a dryer function, so we used up all the towels we brought. (******************* We used the ones we brought.) There was always parking in the alley in front of the house, so we didn't have to worry too much. My kids, my husband, and I were so happy with this place that I wanted to keep it to myself. We'll definitely come back again, and we're leaving with a family message. Oh, and the host's feedback is also very prompt. The oil boiler on the first floor was overflowing, but thanks to their prompt response, we were able to refill it and have a great rest. ♡
