*용평리조트(발왕산 곤돌라), 오대산월정사,삼양목장과 양떼목장,한국자생식물원등이 있고, 차량 30분거리로 동해안 (강릉,주문진등..)에 닿을수 있어 해변과 해산물을 즐길수 있음. 잔디밭이 넖어서 여름엔 공차기등 맘껏 뛰놀수 있고, 겨울엔 설경이 아름답다(아이들에게 최고) .또한 근처에 국민의 숲이 있어서 산책에 아주 좋음. 조용하고 전망이 좋음.
