We go to Jeju Island every year to pick fiddlehead ferns. This time, due to circumstances, we hastily booked accommodation for a week and went to Jeju. (We went around the end of April) I was worried because of the rushed booking, but the house was very clean and well-maintained, the neighborhood was quiet, and the owner was very kind. The resident cat was cute too, and the view was open. However, there were many flies and fruit flies outside the entrance, and there were mosquitoes at night, which was inconvenient. The disappointing part was that the accommodation had an electric stove instead of a gas stove, so when boiling fiddlehead ferns, the electricity bill would be high. The owner asked for an additional 30,000 won for extra electricity charges at checkout. (During the week, I only boiled 3 cup noodles and ramen once.) The accommodation fee included utilities, and if the owner wanted to charge extra, I wish they had checked the electricity meter at check-in so it would have been better for both of us.

Ahead you can see the tangerine fields and the sea, behind you you can see Mt. Halla. This is one of the top 3 accommodations I've ever stayed at. It's clean, quiet, and a place to relax. The tangerines that the owner picked right from his orchard and gave us to taste were really delicious. 🍊 I came back after seeing everything without any regrets. Highly recommended for a comfortable long-term stay.
