I spent a week so comfortably and happily.
I am writing a review of Jeju Island that I visited at the end of February~
I am a mother whose first child is in second grade and whose second child is a freshman in elementary school. Do you remember me, boss?^^ When my father couldn't go, I bravely took the kids alone~~^^
I have been to Jeju Island many times, but this was my first time in Seogwipo. And it was also my first time going to Jeju Island for a week. Since this trip was a bit longer than before, I wanted to stay somewhere in the middle, so I searched a lot for accommodations. If you go with a child, most people go to Geumneung? The western part. I always went to the right or left when I went. So this time, I challenged Seogwipo City. I wanted a countryside atmosphere where you can see nature away from Seoul, but I thought it would be hard for the kids to get sick or find food in a hurry if they were too far from the city.. I searched and searched for a place that is close to the city but where you can see nature and feel Jeju. After all, people look at reviews a lot when they search, right~?! Someone uploaded a picture of Hallasan, and it felt like Hallasan was pouring down... I made a reservation here, thinking it was a really bad idea.
It wasn't hard to find the place when I arrived on the first evening, but it wasn't easy to drive the rental car because it was raining. I was really nervous because it wasn't my car~ I didn't know if the mountain road was good or bad, so I just went over it. Even though I arrived late in the evening, I checked in myself and went in with the kids without any trouble and rested well in the yellow mud room.
From the second day to the last day~~ I bought two passes and went around. When I tried to use up the passes, the accommodation was really just a place to sleep... When I looked for other accommodations, they said that Samdado Jeju had a typhoon... Our accommodation didn't have any typhoon at all... In fact, I was scared because I was the only guardian, but it was cozy, safe, and comfortable. Every day, the kids would go out and go home~ That house was not in Seoul, but Seogwipo, which was their home^^
I avoided places with high mattresses, but I still use a family bed at home.. I was really worried that the kids might fall~ The floor mattress was more stable, and my back didn't hurt, so it was super comfortable. The kids could roll around and play~
How could there not be even one bug...?! Even if there was, I was the only adult, so I was determined to catch it, but that didn't happen at all^^
We used the first floor, which was like the second floor, so we didn't have to worry about noise between floors, which was nice. We also looked at a larger room above our room, and that terrace.... I thought the mountain was walking toward me. Mt. Halla surrounded by clouds was so beautiful. The sea in the distance. Even though you can see the sea in the distance, it takes about 10 or 5 minutes by car, and the owner and his wife said they take care of their health by walking slowly and walking on the sandy beach. I was so envious. ㅜㅠ When will I ever be able to raise all these kids... ㅎㅎ
Hot water comes out quickly, and I didn't have to pay any utility bills for 7 days... There are basic daily necessities like laundry detergent, shampoo, and conditioner~ I was worried that the kids would catch a cold when the wind blows a lot and it's cold... but guess what... No matter how windy it is, the air is good, and maybe because they get far-infrared rays in the yellow earthen room, they came back very healthy.
My kids just loved it^^ The field tangerines that you grew yourself were so fresh and delicious.
I definitely want to stay here again. This is the first time I found out that Seogwipo is a place in the south that is warm, sunny, and has a cool breeze.
I'll go back next time to relax and fully enjoy Jeju Island~~ Thank you so much^^
