The cost of renting a car in Jeju Island is skyrocketing, so I decided to take a walking tour, and while looking for accommodations, I ended up choosing Jungmun, which is close to nature and convenient for transportation. I had a hard time deciding between the new downtown area and Jungmun, but I have no regrets about choosing Jungmun! - Transportation: There are buses from Seogwipo Terminal to Jeju Bus Terminal via the west coast and buses going straight across to Jeju City every 10-20 minutes, and there are timetables posted at each stop, so there is no difficulty in using public transportation. Since it is located in a tourist complex, it is relatively easy to catch a taxi, and electric kickboards and electric bicycles are located all around the accommodation, so they were useful for short-distance travel. - Facilities: The building itself is clean, with a newly built officetel feel, and it is safe for a woman traveling alone. If you are staying for a short time, it is okay for two people to stay, and basic utensils such as dishes, pots, spoons, and pans are provided. The only downside(?) is that since Jeju Island is a place with many tourists, you can sometimes hear them pulling carriers or talking loudly late at night, but I think that's inevitable. The gym on the basement floor is free from 8 AM to 10 PM, so I used it often. The parking lot is relatively small, but you can park for free in the mechanical parking lot or in the open space outside. There is a GS25 convenience store (not 24 hours) inside the building, which was convenient, and the owner was very kind. ㅎㅎ - There are various convenience facilities such as a post office, hospital, bank, library, etc. nearby, and you can use the gym for 500 won with a green card at Seogwipo National Sports Center, which is about 1 km away. I didn't use it myself, but there is also a pretty large indoor swimming pool! My luggage has increased a lot since I stayed for a month, so it was nice to be able to send souvenirs or heavy luggage directly from the post office, and it was also fun to visit the 3rd and 8th local oil market near my accommodation. - Here are some restaurants and cafes I recommend that I visited while staying for a month! * Eunhee's Haejangguk (Haejangguk, Naejangtang is famous, but I recommend soft tofu) * Jungmun Jorim Restaurant (Reservation required, soy sauce-based braised hairtail) * Jungmun Suduri Bomal Kalguksu (Recommended to go at an ambiguous time because the wait is long) * Orchard Minbak Kongguksu (Must check the business hours) * Soolgorae * Yoribaka * Duke Surf Bistro * Yakitori Takabi * Bols Cafe * Cafe Te * The Cliff (Recommended to go at sunset) * Badabara - Recommended activities and tourist attractions * Surfing (Jungmun is a surfing mecca, so there are several companies where you can experience it) * Chagyido boat fishing experience * Real-fire shooting * Songaksan Mountain Trail * Oedolgae~Beophwanpogu Olle Trail Course 7 * Sokgol Recreational Area * Beritnae Oreum, Eongdeungmul Valley (Near the accommodation) * Saekdal Beach (30 minutes walk from the accommodation, great for morning and evening walks) I think it's rare to find accommodations that are this price-friendly and have all the facilities. The owner asked me if there were any inconveniences and was considerate, which made me feel very secure. Thanks to the great accommodation, I'm making a lot of good memories. Everyone has different satisfaction points, so I am cautious, but my personal satisfaction level is around 4.7. The points of satisfaction are 1. The location. - Since the Olle Trail Course 8 is adjacent, you can go to the healing new trail just a few steps away from the accommodation. - If you walk about 1.5km, you will reach Saekdal Beach, which has a white sand beach and a wooden deck walking path next to the white sand beach, and if you follow the wooden deck and go up towards the Shilla Hotel, you will reach the Shilla Hotel and Lotte Hotel Haein Cliff Walking Path. I think it is a more wonderful healing walking path than anywhere else in the world. - It is located in the middle of the southern part of Jeju Island, so it is easy to go to Hallasan, Jeju Island, and either the east or west. - It is near the Jungmun Tourist Complex, so there are many delicious restaurants nearby. In my personal experience, there is a Nonghyup Hanaro Mart about 1km away, so it was convenient to buy various things, and the taste of the raw sea bream I bought there was especially excellent. 2. The advantages related to the accommodation. ㅡThey provided necessary information in a timely manner so that the person making the reservation would not feel anxious. ㅡThe host was kind and took full advantage of the convenience of the person making the reservation. ㅡThe building is new and the building parking lot is small, but there are many parking spaces nearby, so parking was convenient. There are many other pros and cons, but I organized them as I could think of them. Of course, there were some inconveniences related to the accommodation, but please note that this is the satisfaction level considering the price I paid.
