Since we started operating this accommodation, thanks to guests who have visited for anywhere from a week to over a month, those who have returned, and those who came based on recommendations, we have reached 1,000 days of accommodation before even four years have passed. ^^ Therefore, as a token of our gratitude, we are offering a 40% discount going forward in September. This is a special opportunity to stay near Gyeongbokgung Palace for around 80,000 won per night, so if you are planning an autumn trip, please don't hesitate to come visit us. ^^ Bukchon, a mysterious neighborhood that is completely different day and night. Experience the unique atmosphere of this place, which is surrounded by forests between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces, where the day and night are distinct. Located in a spot perfect for a stroll and close to amenities, it is the ideal space for traveling during the day and taking walks and relaxing at night. It is very convenient to travel to nearby tourist attractions, and there are many public cultural facilities nearby, offering plenty of things to enjoy for free.

Surroundings & additional info

Jeongdok Library is located within a 3-minute walk, making it a great place to leisurely read books or take a stroll. On the opposite side, just a minute away, there is a large CU convenience store, a police substation, and famous tteokbokki and chicken skewer shops, ensuring ample amenities. The atmosphere at night is quite unique. Additionally, a local bus connecting to Gwanghwamun and City Hall is just a minute away (the bus stop is located in front of the convenience store). There is a bus that goes directly to Seoul National University Hospital in Daehak-ro, and it takes less than 7-8 minutes by taxi. Besides that, there are plenty of places to shop for perfumes, such as the Samcheong-dong food street, trendy cafes, Aesop, Tambourine, Nonfiction, and Granhand. Sportswear stores like New Balance, Adidas, Dr. Martens, and MLB are also right nearby. The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is right in front of the building, and there are countless galleries in the vicinity. Walking along the Gyeongbokgung Palace wall past the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art at night feels like being in another country. Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace are incredibly close. You can walk to both Changdeokgung and Changgyeonggung Palaces. There are also many old, open-air houses in between, such as the Baek In-je House and the Go Hee-dong House, offering plenty of spots to take photos of traditional Korean houses. Within a 1-minute walk, you'll find E-mart 24, Jeongdok Library, and famous coffee shops like Blue Bottle and Terarosa. Within a 4-minute walk, there are numerous great restaurants, including famous bakeries like London Bagel and Artist Bakery, as well as Onion and Dotori Garden. The MMCA (National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art), which offers free admission after 6 PM on Wednesdays and Saturdays, is also right in front of the house. The location is truly excellent. You can reach Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, and Samcheong-dong galleries within 2-3 minutes. As you slip through the bustling crowds of tourists and enter the building, a private sanctuary awaits you, allowing you to experience a complete change of atmosphere. Try taking photos while strolling late at night along the stone wall path bordering Gyeongbokgung Palace all the way to the Blue House. Even a casual shot will turn out like a masterpiece. An accommodation in a prime location where you can fully enjoy time to yourself. Create your own sanctuary in Samcheong-dong, Seoul. 7 minutes from Anguk Station / 1 minute from the local bus stop / Convenient distance for bringing luggage (flat terrain) Although it is on the first floor, it feels like a 1.5 floor, so the natural light is great, and photos turn out just like in a studio. (A T5 LED dimmer is installed inside the house to adjust lighting intensity.) Due to the nature of Samcheong-dong, an old neighborhood without apartments, finding parking nearby—whether free or paid—is difficult. However, there is a paid parking lot right next door, making it convenient to invite friends over. (Daily parking: 25,000–40,000 KRW cash, negotiable / 4,000 KRW per hour) With no nearby entertainment venues and excellent public safety, it is perfect for families to live in. You will fall in love with the neighborhood's atmosphere, which distinctly changes between day and night. I especially recommend running (or walking) along the Gyeongbokgung Palace stone wall path at night. You will be captivated by the tranquil walking path.
