Yeongjin Sea Ocean View # 9th floor

I had a wonderful six-night, seven-day stay in Gangneung with my child. We spent three days playing in the water at Yeongjin Beach, right next door, and one day at Jumunjin Beach on the weekend. Yeongjin Beach has coarse sand, so it was nice that it didn't get in my swimsuit. The water was really clear and clean, and I could clearly see the fish underneath. Also, when I was getting tired of playing in the water, I went to Gangneung City to visit the Arte Museum. It's an indoor attraction, so I highly recommend it in the summer, and my child loved it. The accommodation was close to Yeongjin Beach, so it was really convenient for swimming. It was within walking distance. We even had a great time walking there with our five-year-old. (For reference, the parasol right in front costs 10,000 won!) We made some great memories with our child. Yeongjin Beach was quiet on a weekday, which was really nice. ^^ At first, I called because the hot water wasn't working, and they immediately took care of it. A member of the management office came out and fixed it. The accommodation was clean, and it was a great place to stay with my child. We had everything we needed for a week (I brought extra towels). We played in the water, did the laundry (I brought detergent), and while we didn't cook, I remember there were plenty of dishes. I'd love to visit again next summer. ♡ **** Things we ate near Yeongjin Beach - Yeongjin Don: The pork cutlet was delicious. There was a line. Right in the building where we stayed! - Pax Burger: A great place for handmade burgers. We had a delicious lunch with the kids after playing in the water. - Ciabatta: Healthy bread with great flavor! The view from the cafe on the second floor is amazing! - Bau Coffee: The black sesame latte was great (we went twice). - Seagull Cafe: My kids and I had delicious Hong Kong-style waffles. We waited quite a while for the waffles, but they had plenty of fruit! - I don't remember the name of the pasta and brunch place next to Seagull Cafe, but we went there... haha - Yeongjin Barley Rice Ssambap: This place is seriously good!!!!!!!!! It's clean, the side dishes are neat and tasty, and it's great value! - Happy What Bakery: This neighborhood bakery is great value for money, so I bought some and ate it with my child for breakfast with milk. - Boodle Fighter: They say it's Filipino barbecue, but it was convenient to go with a child and enjoy the meat. It came out fully cooked, so we enjoyed a comfortable and delicious meal. The dinner menu is a bit too much for two children, but if you go for lunch, the portions are just right! - Kkukjeogutang: It's not on the beach, but it's close. At first, I thought the soybean paste flavor was strong, but it was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. - Jangan Hoejip, 10-15 minutes away: This place is super famous. The raw fish rice bowl and raw fish soup are delicious, but I only had the seaweed soup because I was with my child. We ate it for breakfast for three days straight. I still had it on the last day, so I had it again. It was delicious.....ㅎㅎ - If you go towards Jumunjin for about 10 minutes, you'll find Sundubu Gelato: I went there twice with my child and had various flavors of gelato, including Sundubu Black Sesame Yogurt. The cafe view is also great. If you go at sunset, the sky and sea are so beautiful. The Goblin filming location is right in front, so we took a lot of pictures on nice days.

It's been a while since I've been to Gangneung, so I was excited to arrive at my accommodation. It was so clean and well-organized, and I could sit on the living room sofa and enjoy the calm ocean view. Thanks to the accommodation, my trip got off to a great start, and the week flew by so quickly I didn't even realize it...ㅠㅠ We were walking, but the number 300 bus stopped right in front of Gangneung Station, which was convenient. There was also a large grocery store near the bus stop, which made grocery shopping a breeze! The size of the store made it easy to buy necessities. As soon as we walked out of the accommodation, the ocean stretched out before us. It was so beautiful, I wondered when I'd ever seen such a clear, blue beach! The water was so clear that I could see right through it, even at night, which was amazing. You can take the City Bus 1 from Yeongjin Beach Bus Stop, which takes you along all the beaches in Gangneung, so you can get anywhere without a car! The accommodations were well-equipped, so next time I visit, I won't have to pack everything like I did this time... haha. More than anything, I have trouble sleeping when I'm in a different bed, but the bedding was cozy and comfortable, so I slept like a log every night during this trip! I highly recommend this place!!! The basic amenities were well-equipped, so I had a good time with my child without any inconvenience. I was satisfied with the ocean view and the soundproofing of the building. The location was also good because it was close to IC, so it was easy to get around. I would like to visit again if I have the chance next time^^
