About this place

Our home is located in the mid-mountain area of Aewol, offering fresh air and just the right amount of humidity for a pleasant living environment. Sogil-ri, where Lee Hyori once lived, feels like a charming forest village straight out of a fairy tale. My husband, an architect, has a deep interest and passion for Hanok (traditional Korean houses) and wooden homes, and he is currently building unique wooden houses. We primarily use imported Canadian timber and cypress wood for construction, and upon entering, you can feel a sense of calm amidst the subtle scent of wood. We personally designed and crafted the furniture, interior decor, windows, and doors, creating a serene atmosphere and a unique charm unlike anything you've seen before. In the morning, the sound of birds rings out like a wake-up call, and at night, the starlight is so bright it shimmers. A lush forest stretches out around us, and beyond it, the blue distant sea can be seen below. A tranquil walking path unfolds right in front of the house. If you walk along the upper path for about 7 minutes, you will come to Sogil Byeolha, where Hyori's Bed and Breakfast was filmed, and if you walk along the lower path, the sea off Aewol unfolds before you.

Rental cars are commonly used, and Kakao Taxis are easy to hail. There are 7-Eleven and CU convenience stores within a 2-3 minute drive from the house. Hagwi Hanaro Mart, a large supermarket, is located 13 minutes away, where you can purchase a wide variety of items including agricultural and marine products, sashimi, and meat.
