Bookstay Duplex One-Room Apartment

I'm not someone who usually leaves reviews, but I'm leaving this one out of gratitude for such a comfortable and wonderful stay. I was planning a month-long solo trip and wanted a safe and quiet environment, and this place was perfect. Even though it's right next to the owner's house, there's a separate gate, so privacy was well maintained. It's located on one side of the village with tangerine orchards nearby, and you can see Pyoseon Beach after about a 20-minute walk. The interior has a split-level structure, and the upstairs bedroom area was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave. With walls full of books, it naturally made me want to read—truly a wonderful house. When I first arrived, I was greeted with beautiful hydrangeas, and I was truly moved by the thoughtful touches: my favorite kimchi, eggs, snacks, and even red ginseng. On rainy days, the owner grilled pancakes for us and provided fruit, and my visiting friends were deeply touched, wishing they could stay here too. I really appreciated the considerate distance maintained for solo enjoyment while ensuring there was no inconvenience. Thank you so much for the entire month. I'd love to visit again if the opportunity arises.

I was looking for a quiet place to stay with my younger sister, and I chose this bookstay in Pyoseon because I love books. Just skimming through the book titles was healing, and I could feel the host's thoughtful care throughout the space—it was really wonderful. I also loved the clean bathroom with a bed and bidet, and the clean kitchen with a water purifier. Pyoseon Beach and Sogeummak Beach are nearby, so I could end each day watching the sea, which felt warm and made me happy. I was grateful for the warm hospitality—the host had prepared delicious fresh kimchi, nurungji, and eggs in the refrigerator.

This was our first carefully chosen house during a two-week stay in Jeju with my husband. I was curious about life in a charming rural cottage, and what an excellent choice it turned out to be. We rested very comfortably without any inconvenience. The joy of selecting and reading many good books day by day was delightful, and thanks to that, I've become interested in new authors and plan to follow their work when I return home. Most of all, the sound of birds I heard every morning when I woke up is something I'll surely miss when I return to my daily life. I'm also grateful for how thoughtfully you took care of every corner of the accommodation. I definitely want to visit again in a different season.

Two women stayed here. The host couple were both so kind. They kept taking care of us (without interfering) and the strawberry jam they gave us was so delicious. The accommodation was exactly like the picture, so it was amazing! The bedding was so comfortable that I wondered where they bought it, and I listened to LPs and read books very well. I didn't look at the options in detail, so I was surprised to find out that the refrigerator didn't freeze, but the kids I put right above the freezer froze perfectly. The water pressure in the bathroom was so good that I remembered it even after I got home, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable overall. However, when a car passed by and I was on the second floor, I felt a rattling noise, so I was a little worried about whether the house was okay (the house was fine). As the host said on the first day, there were a lot of bugs because there were a lot of trees around. I bought a bottle of F-Killa and sprayed it every time I went in and out, so I wasn't worried. I chose the house based on the feeling it gave me rather than convenience. There were some uncomfortable things (it was my first time experiencing a duplex), but it was a very, very satisfying month. There is a hill right behind the accommodation that is not difficult to climb, and the neighborhood is quiet and nice. Nearby, Fantastic Burger, Book Street, and Street are already famous, but they were all good. I stayed with two people, so I think we stayed at a very cheap price per person compared to the accommodation. It is a place I want to stay again next time. The hosts were such nice people that I would like to see them again if we have a connection under any circumstances :) I hope you have happy and peaceful days every day.

This is a place I found for a quiet rest, and it was as cozy and comfortable as I expected. The weather was nice and cloudy, so it was nice to feel everything as it was, and it was a space where I could feel the host's meticulous consideration everywhere. You can also realize your attic romance. You can pull out books from the bookshelf decorating one side of the wall, and if you look closely, there are coloring books and colored pencils~. There is a DVD player, a turntable, and even a beam projector~~ I enjoyed it to my heart's content. If you can play the guitar, you won't want to go outside~~. I think I will miss the pet dogs in the accommodation. If you bring ground coffee beans, try pouring them into a pretty cup. The leisurely morning air and the sounds of birds will open up another time~^^ If you want to experience your own time, don't hesitate to bookstay~.♡♡♡

This trip was the very essence of "rest." 😍 During our six nights together, the accommodation felt more than just a place to stay; it felt like a small library and a warm home. We spent quiet time reading, looking at the bookshelves by the window and the bookshelves along the stairs. We slept soundly under the cozy bedding and dim lighting. And the host's thoughtfulness in promptly changing our uncomfortable pillows made our stay even more comfortable. It was the first time I'd been able to relax so peacefully, read a book, and truly be myself while traveling. Our six nights here were short, but they left a lasting impression. If I ever return to Jeju, I'll definitely return here. 💕💕

The host was friendly, and the house was in excellent condition, so I had a comfortable stay. The lack of a washing machine might be a bit inconvenient for long-term stays, but otherwise, it was great.

I had a very comfortable rest. I will be in Jeju for about 3 weeks, so I looked for many places and worried about the location and accommodation type, and I wanted to feel Jeju, so I made a reservation, and I felt so good the whole time I stayed. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful~ and pretty, and above all, the accommodation seems to be permeated with the host's artistic sense, sense, and generous heart, so my eyes and heart were able to rest comfortably~ I woke up and woke up, and just slowly read the titles of the books on the bookshelf every day, and it was a new experience that calmed my mind.... Even though I stayed for a long time, the 1st and 2nd floors were separated, so it was not stuffy, and it was comfortable like home. Olle Course 4 is connected from the accommodation, so I walked to the beach, had coffee, and walked again~ I could really feel Jeju every day. I must have been unable to sleep because I arrived late at night~ but from the first day to the last, I was touched and healed by the unexpected consideration and care~ When I open my eyes in the morning, I think I will keep thinking about the greenery and sky that I see from my fluffy bed. I want to stay here again next time I go to Jeju.

Thanks to you, I am able to stay comfortably both physically and mentally. It is a beautiful and neat accommodation where every corner of the house is visible. It is a place where you can feel the sincerity of the host who decorated and managed it. It is also convenient to stay because everything you need is provided. Most of the amenities are within a 15-20 minute walk, so it was nice to be able to spend time at great places like Cheokgye Ilju and Fantastic Burger. I intentionally went to a quiet place, so it was good that the amenities were far away so I could take a walk, but if I had a car, I think I could spend my time in a more diverse way. Thank you for providing a warm and comfortable space. Thanks to you, I created another good memory of Jeju.

It was my first trip alone with my 5th grade daughter, I was worried because it was a quiet place, but it was so good~ It kept raining the day we went, so we couldn't go outside, but the accommodation was so nice that I came back healed while listening to the sound of the rain with my daughter~I definitely want to go again alone next time^^ It's in a quiet place, but the host is right next to me, and the accommodation is so cozy that I had a good time without any particular inconveniences. It was my first time using the Balmuda toaster, and it was so good~If you like bread, I recommend buying some bread in advance👍
